Det finns planer på att uppföra ett Demonstrations-och testobjekt i form av ett attefallshus med höga krav på hållbarhet och energieffektivitet på Mittuniversitetets campus i Östersund. Attefallshus är ett begrepp för bygglovsbefriade komplementbostäder om högst 25 kvadratmeter som nyligen infördes. Huset ska byggas med Glulams limträelement som ytterväggstomme och Koljerns byggsystem med cellglasisolering som grund och takkonstruktion. För att lösa problemet har litteraturstudier gjorts inom området hållbart byggande, energisystem och byggregler. Beräkningar har gjorts för jämförande av husets genomsnittliga värmegenomgångskoefficient och specifika energianvändning mot gällande byggregler. En modell av huset har gjorts för att se till så valda energisystem ryms inom attefallshusets ramar och ändå fungerar som en bostad. Detta examensarbete undersöker hur väl klimatskärmen klarar gällande byggkrav.

This is an essay in Swedish on the subject of democracy and Demonstrations of collective violence. The study is based on a conflict between the youth-house movement in Copenhagen and the state of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. The focus is over the period December 2006 until January 2008 with reflection on the political movement around the youth-house from the 80's and onwards. This political movement roots back to the late 60's and especially the squatting movement, the BZ, of Europe which had a strong period in Denmark both in the 60's and the 80's. There is also a strong connection to other political movements of anti-fascism, anti-globalisation, queer activism and equal rights.

Skon är en av dem produkter som inte har förändrats särskilt mycket genom åren. Detta projekt hade som syfte att ändra på detta genom att omforma användandet vid påtagning och avtagning av produkten. Målet var att eliminera den böjande rörelse som i dagsläget är ett krav för att användaren ska få på sig sina skor. Detta så att momentet går snabbare och blir skonsammare för ryggen. Genom att metodiskt granska vad som redan finns på marknaden för att få inspiration kunde olika koncept och dellösningar genereras och därefter utvärderas mot varandra.

This bachelor thesis is a critical study in which we are studying if the swedish reports of the so called ?second revolution? in Egypt have been objective. We have been studying this by using Jörgen Westerståhls objectivity model and we have chosen to investigate whether the reports have been objective balance-wise. The second revolution is a term which describes the protests and Demonstrations that led to the military action in which the elected president Muhammad Mursi were forced to resign on the 4th of July, 2013The study includes articles from five leading Swedish newspapers, Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Göteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet. We have been studying all the articles that include the word ?Egypt?.

Powder Metal (PM) gears are machine element components which operate under the same principle as conventional gears, but, due to their intrinsic material characteristic need to be designed slightly different, and its manufacturing process offers advantages previously unobtainable by conventional steel gear manufacturing methods. The use of PM in similar applications, such as synchronous hubs, makes them a suitable candidate for production in such material. The current master thesis work focuses on gear design using PM by utilizing finite element method (FEM) to reduce weight and inertia taking into account root bending strength and tooth deflection.First a topological optimization is used to determine feasible candidates for different web designs which have as objective to reduce volume, similar topologies were shown during different loading conditions; and hence, this topology was chosen as a suitable candidate. A shape optimization of the topological candidate was performed having as state variables root bending strength, independent for compressive and tensile side of the tooth loading; and tooth deflection, which in concept can be correlated to static transmission error (TE).Another aspect in this thesis analysed is the possibility to incorporate non-trochoid root geometry, a trochoid root is always present when machining with a hob, into the gear root and hence reduce the stress concentration here. Due to the use of PM, a non-symmetric optimized root can be achieved and hence be optimizing compression and tension.Results showed significantly lower inertia, for example certain results showed 40% reduced when compared to solid gear, with adverse effects as increase in tooth deformation and increase in maximum principal stress.

This study departs from Gállok, an area 40 kilometres northwest of the city Jokkmokk, in northern Sweden. This is a place to which local people and Saami reindeer herders have material interests and emotional bonds. The mining company JIMAB wants to prospect for extracting minerals from this area. In the summer of 2013 local people, Saamis and environmental activists gathered in Gállok in order to protest and make resistance against these plans. Activism was made, debate articles were written, Demonstrations were organized and information about what was going on in Gállok was shared through social media.The aim of this study is to examine the cultural processes of the anti-mining movement, in particular the happenings in Gállok in summer 2013.
