The purpose of the present essay, as part of the project Self esteem and Life circumstances among teenagers, was to investigate the rate of both deliberate self-harm (DSH) and risk behaviour related to eating disorders in 14-year-old swedish adolescents, gender differences in DSH, and possible correlations between DSH and risk behaviours related to eating disorder. In addition, the effects of expressive writing (Pennebaker & Beall, 1986) on DSH and risk behaviours related to eating disorders were investigated. Data from two pilot studies are included. In total, 198 14-year-olds from four different schools in southern Sweden participated. For the purpose of measuring the rate of DSH, a simplified version of Gratz's (2001) Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI) was used.

In this essay a model of a potential illegal hunter?s decision-making is created and presented in order to provide an overview of important parts of the complexities associated with the current Swedish predator policy. A comparison is made between a livestock owner?s economic incentives, and the expected costs faced by the potentially caught lawbreaker. In accordance with economic theory the benefits and costs of illegal hunting are compared and thus the optimal choice is determined where marginal costs and benefits are equal.

Studiens syfte är att beskriva och analysera hur skolkuratorn arbetar för att uppmärksamma, upptäcka och stödja barn som har en vuxen person i hemmet som överkonsumerar alkohol och/eller andra droger. Frågeställningarna är följande:- Hur arbetar skolkuratorn för att upptäcka barn som lever i familjer där någon vuxen överkonsumerar alkohol och/eller andra droger och hur går kuratorn tillväga då sådana misstankar finns?- Hur arbetar skolkuratorn då det finns bekräftat att ett barn lever i en familj där någon vuxen överkonsumerar alkohol och/eller andra droger?- Hur kan skolkuratorns kontakt med barnet se ut och hur hanterar kuratorn dilemmatmellan att ha barnets förtroende och att samverka med andra aktörer?Resultatet är baserat på kvalitativa intervjuer med fem skolkuratorer och visar att det är svårt att identifiera barn som har en vuxen person i hemmet som överkonsumerar eftersom det inte finns några specifika och lättidentifierade tecken som man kan känna igen hos barnen. Överkonsumtion i hemmet är ofta något som inte syns, och när det syns kan det ta sig uttryck hos barnen på många olika sätt. Barn är också lojala mot sina föräldrar och vill eller vågar inte avslöja en familjehemlighet.

Muskuloskeletala skador är ett stort problem hos hästar som tränas och tävlas i kapplöpning, och orsakar smärta med påföljande hälta för individen och ger även ekonomiska förluster inom industrin. Av dessa är stressfrakturer i tredje metakarpalbenet distalt på frambenet vanligast och utgången är ofta katastrofal med avslut på karriären och i vissa fall slakt. För denna typ av skada finns alltid en preexisterande patologi i benvävnaden. Träningen är högintensiv och kräver en fysisk adaptation av rörelseapparaten. Den kraftiga mekaniska belastningen kan kopplas till predilektionsplatser för frakturerna, där mikroskador i benvävnad utvecklas till fullständiga frakturer.

1 INLEDNING Det finns många anledningar till varför jag vill skriva om ungdomsbrottslighet. En anledning är mitt stora intresse om det här ämnet som är både intressant och lärorikt. Intressant är det för att det ofta talas och skrivs om ungdomsbrottslighet i Malmö, i media, i TV nyheter, tidningar, radio, och inte minst diskussioner och debatter bland våra politiker av olika partier i hela landet om vem som bäst kan hantera ungdomsproblematiken i vårt land. Lärorikt är det på grund av att det är så många verksamheter som är inblandade vid ungdomsbrottslighet, t.ex. skolan, polisen, fritidsgårdar, rättväsendet, drabbade familjer men också själva ungdomarna som hamnar i brottslig verksamhet. Att intresset är stort för ungdomsbrottslighet kan också förklaras av att ungdomarnas ökade brottslighet ses som en markör och ett tecken på kommande problem för både samhällsutvecklingen och ungdomarna. I alla de här fallen vi nämnde är det ytterst viktigt för våra professionella organisationer d.v.s.

BakgrundKvinnlig könsstympning innebär att hela eller delar av könsorganen avlägsnas. I världen uppskattas 100-140 miljoner kvinnor genomgått ingreppet. Kvinnlig könsstympning är främst förekommande i de västra och östra delarna av Afrika samt i Egypten. Ingreppet är inte en religiös plikt utan har sedan 2000 år tillbaka utförts som en kulturell sed. En kartläggning av faktorer som påverkar fortsatt utövande av kvinnlig könsstympning behövs för att få svar på vilka resurser i det förebyggande arbetet som har störst påverkan i avskaffningen av kvinnlig könsstympning.

Subclinical mastitis (SCM) is a well-known problem in the dairy sector, where it causes severe economic losses mainly due to reduced milk production. This is a problem not only in the western world but also in developing countries. Surveys from different developing countries have shown a SCM prevalence of 52.4 ? 88.6 % at cow level and 26.7 ? 63.2 % at quarter-level. To combat mastitis is important to optimize the milk production of the cow.

Problem area of this Bachelor thesis is the mental illness of internationally adopted at the age of 16-26. Our study focuses on a compilation of previous results from positivistic researches in the first question formulation. In the second and third question formulations a narrative text analysis, through hermeneutically interpret risk and prevention factors, is carried out for the life of internationally adopted that can lead to mental health/illness and how they apprehend to be adoptees. The purpose is to get a comprehensive understanding at individual, group and society's view of their lives. Further intention is to interpret the material for possible approach angles on further research.
