This paper describes how files and information can be shared in organisations and workplaces. We studied and compared the traditional file sharing in Microsoft Active Directory and the Social file sharing that comes with Microsoft SharePoint Sites. We used qualitative studies based on interviews with system administrators, management and by our own observations to acquire the necessary data. Using independent research, we were able to analyze the data and show the general difference between the traditional and the social file sharing systems. Social file sharing enables the user to easily store and share files in a flexible online environment.

I datalager samlas information från flera olika system och sparas på ett gemensamt sätt. Informationen i ett datalager ger en holistiskbild över organisation och bör användas som beslutsstöd. För att utvinna information ur datalager finns flera olika metoder och informationen kan sedan användas inom flera olika områden.Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka metoder som används för att utvinna informationen ur datalager inom industribranschen samt inom vilka användningsområden informationen används.För att besvara frågeställningen genomfördes fem intervjuer med företag i industribranschen. Resultatet visar på att vissa metoder för att utvinna information ur datalager används framför andra och inom datautvinning används inte den förutsägandekategorin alls. Framförallt använde sig företagen av informationen på kundsidan och såg det som ett levande projekt som skall täcka in hela processen i framtiden..

The purpose of our essay is to study the institutional-, demographic and accounting theoretical factors that influence an organisations actuarial commitment.The research was performed through a web based survey, with complimentary telephone interviews, directed to companies listed on Stockholm Stock Exchange A- and O-list on the 30 of November, 2003.Our data was analysed with a Median test, Kolomogorov-Smirnov test, T-test and a Mann-Whitney test. The purpose of the Mann-Whitney test was the low number of respondents that took part in the research. The Kolomogorov-Smirnov test was done to determine whether the population variances was equal or not. The data showed that organisations with a majority of female employees assume a lower salary increase, and a higher average age than other companies with a male majority. Only 2 of 11 hypothesis can be accepted as temporary truths but several other visible relations are indicated in our research, but can not be statistically proved.We think that the major problem with our is the time it was performed.

The aim of this study is to increase knowledge about how a group of newly graduated social workers reflect on the practical daily work and their positions working with clients who are in need of social and/or economic resources. More precisely the purpose is to find out how these seven newly graduated social workers viewed working with clients during theoretical and practical studies. The aim is to analyze which techniques and methods could be seen in these narratives. Furthermore the aim was to find out if and how these seven social workers reflected on the power relation between social worker and client.The material of this study consists of seven semi-structured interviews. Throughout gathering the data and analyzing it, the qualitative method in form of narrative approach was used.

Det finns flera olika metoder och tekniker för tredimensionell rendering, alla med olika för- och nackdelar som lämpar sig för olika applikationer. Voxelbaserad rendering har använts flitigt inom vetenskapliga områden, främst inom det medicinska för visualisering av volymetrisk data. Tekniken används nu inom flera olika områden för tredimensionell rendering, t.ex. i datorspel, i matematiska applikationer och vid geologisk rekonstruktion. I den här rapporten kommer voxelbaserad rendering med Marching Cubes-algoritmen undersökas för att se hur den lämpar sig för realtidsapplikationer. Området behandlas dels teoretiskt, men även praktiskt då en implementering av Marching Cubes gjordes för att genomföra några tester för att se hur prestandan påverkades. Av testerna framkom det tydligt att algoritmen lämpar sig väl för realtidsapplikationer och dagens grafikkort.

Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka huruvida Sveriges officiella CO2-data från trans-portsektorn är internationellt rimliga åren 1990-2004. Sverige har uppvi-sat en internationellt lyckad reduktion av CO2-utsläpp samtidigt som Väg- och transportforskningsinstitutet visar att Sveriges CO2-utsläpp från vägtrafiken kan vara dubbelt så höga som rapporterat. Metod: Undersökningen sker genom en jämförelse mellan Sverige, Danmark, Norge, Spanien och USA. Ekonomisk tillväxt sätts i relation till CO2-utsläpp och transportsektorns utveckling och ländernas personbilsparker undersöks. Tyder ingenting på missvisande data torde Sveriges lyckade CO2-minskning vara ett resultat av effektiv miljöpolitik.

AimThe aim of this study was to, through a systematic literature review of evidence based electromyographic (EMG) studies, identify specific exercises for rehabilitation of the Serratus Anterior muscle. The research questions were: ?Which exercises can be recommended to use to activate the Serratus Anterior?? and ?Are the recommended exercises altered between studies on individuals with and without shoulder dysfunction??. MethodThe method was a systematic literature review. First the study aim and research questions were formulated. A research protocol was then formulated with inclusion and exclusion criteria and search terms.

The objective of this thesis is to examine the capital structure of Swedish small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Accounting data from Swedish game developers, combined with the result from a survey, is used to examine their financial conditions and capital structure decisions. We find that non-debt tax shield, firm size, growth opportunities and age are, to various extents, the determinants of capital structure in the game industry, while effective tax rate and asset structure have marginal effects. Our study also implicates that most of the existing capital structure theories can explain SMEs leverage decisions to some extent; however, some adaptation is needed to fit these theories into the SME context. Additionally, we find the existence of a financial gap in the game industry which might need efforts from both demand side and supply side to eliminate..

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur arbetsterapeuter bedömer förmåga att köra bil hos personer efter stroke samt arbetsterapeuternas erfarenheter av detta arbete. Studien designades som en deskriptiv studie där verbal data samlades in med halvstrukturerad intervju. Data strukturerades som kvalitativ hårddata och analyserades med innehållsanalys och det resulterade i sju kategorier: Teamets arbete med körförmågebedömningen, Aktivitetsintervju ger grunden för bedömningen, Standardiserade instrument ger viktig information om kognition, Observationer tydliggör körförmågan, Anhörigas deltagande vid bedömning av körförmågan, Arbetsterapeuternas förhållningssätt och Vision om kompetensutveckling och utveckling av arbetsrutiner. Resultatet beskriver rutinerna vid en körförmågebedömning, vilka bedömningsmetoder arbetsterapeuterna använder, samt deras erfarenheter av arbetet med detta. Arbetsterapeuternas erfarenheter påvisade behovet av vidareutveckling inom området, även nödvändigheten av fler Trafikmedicinska center belyses då antalet förare med olika sjukdomar ute på vägarna ökar..

The brown bear population in Alberta, Canada has been decreasing, while the Swedish has been increasing and all the affecting parameters are not known. This study examined the difference in these populations to see if an explanation could be found in differences between the forest management. The aim of the paper was to see if stand treatments had an influence of brown bears habitat selection in autumn in Sweden and how the results can be used in Alberta. This was done by analyzing bear positions in Sweden with forest data, and comparing forest management data for the study area in Sweden with forest management data for Alberta. The results displayed that mature forests over 60 years that have been commercially thinned are selected by bears rather than forests over 60 years that have not been commercially thinned in.

Scania Top Team is a competition where the best mechanics in the world are competing against each other. In 2011, the world final was recorded and this material is now used to see which problem solving strategies these top of the line teams are using to solve the realistic problems assembled in front of them. To help them, the mechanics are allowed to use two of Scanias IT-systems: Scania Multi and Scania Diagnose and Programmer 3. This report consists of two parts. In this thesis work a Geographical Information System (GIS) based methodology to identify locations suitable for the installation of wave energy converters has been developed. Parameters of importance have been identified and a GIS-database has been set up, containing data about the marine environment. In a case study of the Swedish west coast the methodology has been applied, resulting in a number of maps showing possible areas. The results show that large areas are suitable for installation of wave energy converters, from a technical and economical point of view. When consideration is taken to other interests in the area, such as navigation, fishing and environmental protection, the size of the suitable area diminishes considerably.
