This essay is on the subject of the changes that the Swedish military is undergoing. This essay will take the old ways of alignment thinking, were the military was to protect the nation against an invasion and compare it to the newer way of alignment thinking, where the military is to go abroad and do peacekeeping operations as there main objective. This comparison will be done by using Bengt Abrahamson theory about professions. He uses three parts one is specialised theoretical knowledge, another is ethics and the last is corps spirit. This theory will then be connected to four interviews.

LCC calculations are mainly usedto evaluate investments that have no revenue side. Attempts to apply the LCC calculations forbuilding-related investments have occurred since the 1980s. Despite the advantages ofusing LCC calculations, use has not passed through in full. The main obstacles have beenidentified as a lack of relevant input data, and insufficient experience of workingwith LCC calculations.

Modern semiconductor design methods makes it possible to design increasingly complex system-on-a-chips (SOCs). Testing such SOCs becomes highly expensive due to the rapidly increasing test data volumes with longer test times as a result. Several approaches exist to compress the test stimuli and where hardware is added for decompression. This master?s thesis presents a test data compression method based on a modified facsimile code.

Den här studien demonstrerar vilka effekter en säljares kompetens, serviceprestation och etiska beteende har på relationskvaliteten till kunder inom fastighetsmäklarbranschen, samt vilka effekter ett företagets rykte och prestation har på relationskvaliteten till kunder i fastighetsmäklarbranschen. Undersökningen genomförs för att få en förståelse för hur relationerna fördelar sig på företagen och försäljarna. Med en kvalitativ metod har undersökningen gjorts i form av intervjuer, med tio stycken kunder som har sålt deras bostäder inom de senaste två åren. Resultatet visade att kunderna har starkare relation till fastighetsmäklarna än till företagen. De flesta kunderna har inte upplevt någon relation alls till företagen, när kunderna står inför att sälja sin bostad, väljer de oftast fastighetsmäklaren oberoende av vilket företag dessa arbetar för.

I ett företag finns data utspridd i olika datasystem. För att lättare och snabbare komma åt data bör data finnas samlad på ett ställe d.v.s. ett datalager. Om datalagret ska fungera som ett beslutsstöd för företagsledningen är det viktigt att data håller en hög datakvalitetsnivå så att beslut fattas som gynnar företaget. För att kontrollera datakvalitet kan datakvalitetsverktyg användas.

Avsikten med denna uppsats var att granska hur bedömningen av psykiatrisk tvångsvård av barn och ungdomar i Sverige, motiverades under året 2002-07-01 - 2003-06-30. Genom en kvalitativ ansats har en textinnehållsanalys av journaler genomförts, i syftet att bidra till att ge en överblickbar beskrivning av materialet. Uppsatsen grundar sig på journaler som tidigare insamlats från chefsöverläkare vid samtliga barn- och ungdomspsykiatrikliniker i Sverige, vilket resulterade i 142 patienter och 159 vårdtillfällen som journalfördes. Patienterna utgjordes av barn och ungdomar i åldrarna 10-18 år. Motiveringarna till tvångsvården analyserades därefter utifrån sex stycken, redan befintliga etiska kategorier.

At Emergency Admissions at Sahlgrenska University´Hospital many systems are in use at the same time and it happens that much overhead is caused by having to fill in the same information in different places. In addition, data that is gathered is to a large extent saved in free text format, which means that it cannot be used in a larger context such as research, quality control or for decision support. Data is saved in the patient file only for the treatment process of the individual patient.A data collecting system with decision support functionality could be a first step towards reducing Emergency Admissions? costs and patients? waiting times by providing a structured method of data collection.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar Holmes Rolston IIIs bok ?Environmental Ethics? och den teori som författaren där för fram angående naturens värde. Syftet är att klargöra hur naturen är värdefull enligt Rolston samt att kritiskt granska de argument som förs fram.Uppsatsen har tre delar. En introduktion som i korthet presenterar teorier om etisk naturalism, antropocentrisk etik, det naturalistiska misstaget, intrinsikala värden samt distinktionen mellan kultur och natur. Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på om ett tidslinjegränssnitt är ett lämpligt sätt att visualisera personlig data på för vidare utveckling inom projektet A4Cloud. Uppsatsens målgrupp är huvudsakligen medlemmar i A4Cloud men är även intressant för personer med intresse för personlig data eller tidslinjegränssnitt.För att uppnå detta syfte skapades en prototyp över detta användargränssnitt med begränsad funktionalitet för att utföra tester på, för denna studie testades användargränssnittet på datorskärmar. Användningstester med observation gjordes på prototypen med åtta testpersoner för att få fram information om hur användare uppfattade prototypen.Enligt resultaten kan tidslinjekonceptet bli väldigt omtyckt och enkelt att använda. Det finns definitivt skäl till vidareutveckling av detta koncept. Även vissa brister i konceptet och prototypen hittades.

The study has used a critical discourse method formed by Teun a. van Dijk to analyse the material, mainly through macro- and microstructures.

The purpose with this thesis is to analyse different factors that can explain district heating prices for energy companies in Sweden. We are further interested in examining if the prices is affected by the use of industrial waste heat in their production and the company?s ownership structure. The method applied is a multiple regression analysis using a panel data set of 50 companies over 5 years (2008-2012). The data used is yearly data obtained from the Swedish district heating association.
