En av dessa underkategorier är dark tourism. Denna företeelse grundar sig i ett intresse att besöka platser som varit med om katastrofer. Att kommersialisera och exploatera död är ett kontroversiellt område och av många anser att denna sorts turism är oetisk. Det gäller för företag som arbetar med dark tourism att utforma marknadskommunikation som inte uppfattas som felaktig i kunders ögon.

Data relating to the food choices for one day were collected and questions asked about their attitudes to food and meals were collected simultaneously.

I många år har människor jorden runt varit fascinerade av skräck och någonting som gett dem en adrenalinkick eller känsla av sorg. Därför har många spännande sevärdheter uppkommit, som exempelvis London Dungeons och Auschwitz. Detta har blivit en ny trend i turismen och har utvecklats väldigt mycket utomlands; människor vill betala för att se och ta del av elände och misär. Det lockar många olika grupper av åskådare, främst skolgrupper men även enskilda personer som vill veta mer om historian bakom platsen. Detta är även ett stort intresse hos oss (Amera och Elin) och blev därmed ett självklart val när vi bestämde oss för att utföra denna studie.Syftet med föreliggande studie är att belysa förutsättningarna för att utveckla brun turism i Halmstad.

Automatic milking systems (AMS) provide the opportunity for less manual labour and an increased milking frequency. But in order to reach an optimal milking frequency a well-functioning cow traffic is crucial. There are many factors affecting cow traffic but one factor that has not been studied thoroughly yet is the effect of different light intensities during the night, 22.00 h to 05.00 h. Therefore the aim of this study was to determine the effect of different light intensities during the night on number of selection gate passages (GP), milking frequency and milk yield. The study was conducted as a Latin square were three light intensities were applied: LOW (11 ± 3 lux), INT (33 ± 1 lux) and HIGH (74 ± 6 lux), in three different herds.

Turbot (Psetta maxima) and flounder (Platichthys flesus) are two species of flatfish both having their nursery areas around the shores of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. The common brown shrimp (Crangon crangon) is a known predator on newly settled plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) in the North Sea area and is also found in the Baltic Sea. Experiments were carried out to see if the brown shrimp is predating on juvenile turbot and flounder, and if so on which sizes, and if the brown shrimp prefers any of the flatfish species, and also to see if there is a difference between day and night in density of the shrimp, i.e. when the fish might be subjected to predation. The results showed that predation decreased with size for both turbot and flounder.

The purpose of this paper consists of examining the different ways of thinking about death and life beyond death conveyed in the game Grim Fandango Remastered. This was done by using a theoretical framework consisting of a self invented definition of death called "Bodily death". This definition consists of common notions about death such as cessation of life functions like movement, metabolism, respiration and overall cessation of brain functions. It also included cessation of vital processes, which includes the ability to make energy transfer, making reparations, for example by cell replication, as well as the waste system of the body.  Besides this, the study examines the prevalence of dualism, a conception that views the soul essential to the individual's mental state. Two kinds of dualism were investigated, simple dualism with the assumption that the individual is made up of the soul, and compound dualism, where soul and body are dependent on each other for the survival of the individual.

Discussing light and lighting in the night-time environment of Tensta, a Stockholm suburb built between 1962 and 1970, this thesis suggests that lighting should be designed for the outdoor environment as a whole. The feeling of safety and human perception are important components in this thesis. Starting with some comments on visual perception and how we adapt our sight to an interval of the visual input we get, makes it possible to understand that more light sometimes hides, rather than reveals, things. On the other hand there are a few amount of Swedish science project?s regarding outdoor life. The aim of this study was to examine how people feel that their health influences by outdoor life.

Dramat publicerades för första gången 1623 och innehåller, på samma sätt som många av hans tidigare komedier, motiv som förväxlingar och sökandet efter en sann kärlek. Intrigen bygger på att människor på grund av en förklädnad inte känner igen varandra. I det här fallet är det en ung kvinna, Viola som får omgivningen att tro att hon är man.   Shakespeares Twelfth Night är uppbyggd genom en komposition av olika teman och jag har undersökt hur han har motiverat sina motiv kärlek och musik och genom dessa skapat dramats lyckliga slut.
