This paper examines how recruiters use social media during their recruitment process. The paper focuses on the staffing industry and will further examine how recruiters are handling jobseekers personal privacy when they are using social media in a recruitment process. The paper are trying to understand the meaning of what personal integrity means and how or if recruiters show consideration to this in a recruitment process when they are using social media as a recruitment tool. Our result demonstrates that, today recruiters use social media daily to conduct background checks on job applicants. There are no clear instructions and rules on how recruiters should handle background checks through social media. Recruiters believe that job seekers are responsible for the information contained on the their social media.

The purpose of this essay is to look at the Swedbank Stadion, which is a modern stadium in the south of Sweden. Swedbank Stadion is the home ground of Malmö FF, one of the largest football team in Sweden, and the goal is to create value for the team. The stadium owners have to get companies to hire premises inside of the stadium so they can pay for the home ground of Malmö FF. Therefore we have focused on the servicescape in the stadium and how it can create value for the companies that act on Swedbank Stadion on a daily basis.This study of the Swedbank Stadion is based on a qualitative approach. The qualitative approach is chosen because we wanted to establish deeper understanding for the case itself.

A large part of the daily life today means being active online and to take part in the interactions that occur there. The accessibility which social media brings, means that you can reach and be reached in several ways and there are many different ways in which information can be disseminated. Social media supports the learning process. The aim of this study is to examine how upper secondary schools students' use of social media and how it can be used as a tool for informal learning. Our study is based on the socio-cultural perspective where interaction and social cohesion is a big part.

Previous studies have shown that teachers in school are having an insufficientknowledge about the bullying at their own school. These studies are based from pupils point of view at the senior level of the nine-year compulsory school. Based on this literature we became critical and wanted to examine this closer.The purpose of this essay was to find out and to examine how the staff in two different senior level of compulsory school notice, prevent and counteract bullying in their daily line of work. With this essay we hope to get the schools attention and understanding about this existing problem. We have done a qualitative study using qualitative method for collection of data.

The system are supposed to get started technically and also be implicated to the users of the system. This work will be focused to create a effective working plan to get SAM implicated with no interruption in the daily work.

The current state of our web is one where users can create and distribute information freely and without constraining limitations of knowledge. It?s as easy as making a Facebook status update or sending out a Tweet to make contributions to the web and we?re all doing it. Web-Giants like Facebook and Google deinate the web because they have such massive user amounts and therfore they control the information their users see. This is a problem because we?re hidden from the entire information amount that is the web in the 21st century.

This master thesis is aiming to find out how school libraries work towards children in school years 1-6. The mainfocus is how the school librarians and teachers work with literature and reading. The theoretical viewpoints aremainly the sociocultural theory and the child perspective.The study was conducted with participants from five different schools in Uppsala, in the form of qualitativesemi-structured interviews. The results show that schools work with literature first and foremost in a pragmaticway, with reading-strategies and activating discussions. Very little time is spent on reading for its own sake.

According to Swedish curriculum, Lpf94, all Swedish education should include and discuss the problems surrounding durable development. The purpose of the study is to se how the textbooks in History, Social studies and Geography and their contents meet the demands of the curriculum. The study shows that only the textbooks in geography meets the demands that the curriculums have on durable development.

Ett företag med ambitionen att behålla sitt miljöledningssystem levande behöver ha motiverade anställda. Denna studie utreder varför vi handlar som vi gör och varför vi hellre gör vissa saker än andra, hur en inre motivation kan skapas hos anställda för arbete mot gemensamma miljömål och vilka strategier företag kan använda sig av för att öka anställdas inre motivation.Studien är att betrakta som en fallstudie, där både intervjuer och utvald litteratur ligger till grund som empiri. Sex personer från företaget Stångåstaden AB i Linköping är intervjuade och svarade på frågor som täckte områden som miljö, miljöledningssystem och motivation. Resultatet visar att det inte är många av respondenterna som vet vad ett miljöledningssystem huvudsakliga uppgift är. Att definiera vad miljö betyder för dem innehar också splittrade meningar; många anser att det beror på i vilken kontext man ställer frågan men även att företagets miljöchef är miljö för dem.

För att företag ska fortsätta vara konkurrenskraftiga i dagens turbulenta samhälle krävs att de utvecklar både sina produkter och deras organisation.Något som har fått större och större fokus på senare år är att fokusera på att kvalitetssäkra både processer och produkter för att minska kostnader.Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar tillförlitligheten av processen för avvikelsehantering inom producerande företag.Projektet genomfördes på BAE Systems Hägglunds, ett företag med stor kundanpassning, för att förbättra kvaliteten på deras process för avvikelsehantering i monteringen.I ett första skede i projektet kartlades hur BAE arbetar i dagsläget.Detta gjordes med hjälp av att intervjua personer som dagligen använder processen samt en workshop för att ta fram en processkarta.Genom att studera befintlig litteratur inom området skapades bättre kunskap om vilka faktorer som är viktiga vid kvalitetsarbete och avvikelsehantering.I analysen jämfördes litteraturen med hur företag arbetar för att identifiera förbättringsområden.Rekommendationerna som delgavs företag rör främst att införa gemensamma rutiner över hela företaget för hur avvikelser registreras i deras affärssystem.En sådan rutin var att införa ett klassificeringssystem för alla avdelningar istället för de tre klassificeringssystemen som finns i dagsläget.En annan var att standardisera vilka informationsfält som skulle fyllas i för att kvaliteten på avvikelserna skulle bli tillförlitlig. Det togs även fram tre nyckeltal för att mäta processen i framtiden för att se om den förbättrats. Långsiktiga rekommendationer blev att se över ansvarsfördelningen för respektive avdelning.Detta för att eventuellt kunna avskaffa roller som är överflödiga och att ge personalen mer ansvar för ärenden de registrerar.

Graphic design is an integrated part of the public spaces we move through in our daily lives. This thesis explores the emotional aspects of graphic design, with a focus on environmental graphics for the public space. The goal is to find ways in which the emotional aspects of a design solution can be varied without compromising the practical aspects, i.e. affect the conveyance of information. This goal is pursued through an analysis of historical and contemporary literature as well as by design practise.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease, which affects mostly women. RA is also a chronic disease and the treatment is focused on moderating the immunological process. RA-patients experience daily pain which affect their prosperity. The aim of this literature study is to illuminate some factors that influence the well-being of patients with RA. The factors that have been studied are pain, nutrition and need of knowledge about nutrition.

Syftet med denna studie är att studera hur ett språkutvecklande förhållningssätt kan yttra sig i planeringen, organiserandet och utförandet av en vardaglig rutin på förskolan nämligen måltiden och då specifikt lunchen. Jag har valt att fokusera på lunchen eftersom den är en vardaglig aktivitet som förekommer på varje svensk förskola. Undersökningens design utgörs av två komparativa fallstudier och jag använder mig av två kombinerade metoder. Dels gör jag två typer av strukturerade observationer och dels genomför jag ostrukturerade intervjuer. Jag har valt att undersökta två förskolor i Stockholmsområdet.

Differences between groups or individuals in a society with regards to access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) are known as the digital divide. The digital divide pertains to differences in physical access to computers and the Internet as well as knowledgein using technology. Important factors affecting the digital divide are disabilities, age, gender, socioeconomical background, ethnicity and geography. The digital divide appears on several levels: internationally, nationally, regionally and locally. Individuals who, for some reason, have limited or no access to information and communication technologies risk, among other things, to experience social exclusion.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate and analyze how widely and intensive genderequality issues are considered within Swedish companies. Qualitative interviews werearranged with personnel managers within each company, and complemented with aquestionnaire amongst the employees. The collected information was analysed on the basis ofgender theory, organization and change theory, theory of equal opportunities and historicalstatistics. The outcome of the analysis indicates that companies find gender equality of highinterest, and important to address within the daily work. However the analysis also shows thateven though the companies find gender equality important it is only adopted within few areas,and not across all departments.
