Utvärdering av solcellsanläggningen på Universeum
The main aim of this master thesis was to see the process of an interactive online reference service from idea to final product. The reference service we have studied is developed and used by the Library of the National Institute for Working Life in Stockholm, Sweden and goes by the name phibi. Our goal was to review the whole realization process from the reasons why a service like this was created, how the service was introduced and implemented inside the organisation and finally what the result and consequences were for both the library staff and for the users of the service. Phibi is designed to be a tool that fosters communication between the library staff and the remote users where the users get the opportunity to be helped with their questions by the library staff although they are not physically present in the library. To understand the process we conducted a case study with 11 interviews of the library staff, the superior and the initiator to phibi.

En studie av kommunikation i missbruk och drogfritt tillstånd, förståelseorienterat kontra framgångsorienterat handlande
By comparing the experience off interaction in a life world with a drug habit
and a life world without a drug habit you might find how they differ. We asked
four former drug abusers in four semi structured interviews to describe their
experiences off interaction under these two circumstances. The difference
between the two life worlds when it comes to interaction is that in the drug
abusing life world our informants describe that communicative action has to
stand back for a more goal oriented action. In the drug free life world,
communicative action on the other hand is experienced as the most important
action. The difference is about wether interaction is goal oriented or oriented
at understanding.

This has contributed to a development of participating working processes in form of groups and teams. The purpose of these communal working processes is that they ought to result in an increased knowledge and understanding among the group members which in turns will generate positive results in the daily work. This drives the search for new knowledge and development possibilities to handle these changed working processes.

Om Ideellt engagemang och dess betydelse för yrkesrollen
The aim of this study was to reach a better understanding of voluntary work and
its possible influence on the work role. Based on a phenomenological approach,
five voluntary workers from the leisure field were interviewed.
The interpretation of the empirical data was based on the Humanistic psychology
and its theories about personality, self-realization, motivation and emotion.
The results show that the motive behind the voluntary engagement varied amongst
the participants and all of them stated more
than one motive. However, social motives, wanting to learn more and develop
their skills and also wanting to help others, were the most frequent motives
among the participants. In the light of the theoretical background
for this study, these motives can be understood as being due to the need of
self-realization and appreciation from others, and also a wish to reach an
ideal self.

The key areas that we explored in order to meet the research aims were: what did the youths interpret as a good quality of life for a 15-year old and for an adult, how did they view their own quality of life, and did they think that the regional context (i.e. if one lives in a big city or in a small town) affects how one interpret quality of life. The studywas based on interviews with four boys and four girls.
