The 1st of July 2006 Sweden made a change of authorities in the system concerning the reception of separated asylum seeking children. Prior to the change, the Swedish Board of Migration was held completely responsible for the reception of these children, who arrives in Sweden without their parents or any other relatives to care for them. Since the alteration of the law (1994:137) the responsibility for the housing of these children now lies within the Swedish municipalities, while the Board of Migration still handles their legal commissions. The change was intended to fundamentally improve the conditions under which these children were taken care of. However the implementation took a severe wrong turn when the municipalities weren't prepared for their new responsibilities and the immediate result was alarming. This qualitative study is based upon interviews with the people responsible for the reception of the separated asylum seeking children in the municipalities of Kronobergs County, as well as one of the two people in charge of the new system at the Swedish Board of Migration.

The Sami people are a national minority in Sweden, but are also considered as native citizens of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia. The world has however a very limited knowledge about the Sami?s and their cultural background.The aim of this proposal is to examine six different history schoolbooks which depict the Sami people in Sweden. In addition, one of the key elements of this proposal is to understand how the selected literature represents the Sami people.Lastly, the proposal also seeks to review if the literature in the schoolbooks represents the elementary curriculum goals (Lpo94).The selected method was to do a text analysis of the literature and to illustrate that is presented in the reviewed schoolbooks. The text analysis is completed with an analysis of the illustrations and pictures that are presented in the selected schoolbooks.The key findings were that the review in majority of schoolbooks has stereotypical descriptions of the Sami people. The Sami people are generally depicted with the hut and the reindeer management in majority of the reviewed schoolbooks.The research about the Sami people is inappreciable in majority of the reviewed literature. In addition, the Sami people are often presented in connection with ?other? history, such as the silver ore in the mines or the territory dispute with settlers from the south of Sweden.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate if the reading habits of teacher students are influenced by merit and descent. The empiric material consists of six questionnaires answered by students at the teacher training with Swedish at the upper secondary school as their first topic. The questionnaire comprised questions about reading habits in the childhood and today and information concerning merits and descent.Pierre Bourdieu?s sociological ideas about cultural capital transmitted from parent to child and the concept of habitus are used as a theoretical framework regarding descent.

Mervärdesskattelagen trädde i kraft i Sverige år 1994 och lagen har sedan dess reglerat den svenska skatteinbetalningen. Efter Sveriges inträde i EU, år 1995, har det pågått anpassningsåtgärder inom momsområdet för att uppnå en harmonisering med EU:s mervärdesskattedirektiv. Medlemskapet har således inneburit att EU-rätten har blivit en del av det svenska rättssystemet och följaktligen är det inte längre bara den nationella rätten som ska beaktas utan stor hänsyn måste också tas till innehållet i EU-rätten. Från och med den 1 januari 2010 har det införts nya regler i mervärdesskattelagen om omsättningsland för tjänster. Detta har gjorts med anledning av direktiv 2008/8/EG och syftet med genomförandet av dessa regler i svensk rätt är att det allmänt sett är en fördel för rättstillämpningen om de svenska bestämmelserna i stort är ordnade på samma sätt som i EU-rätten.

Allt fler kvinnor söker sig till rektorsyrket. Medan yrket har blivit mer kvinnodominerat har även arbetsvillkoren blivit hårdare. Långa dagar med mycket oförutsedda arbetsuppgifter gör rektorsyrket till ett tungt arbete. Studier visar att det fortfarande är kvinnan som tar hand om det mesta i hemarbetet. Tuffa arbetsvillkor och mycket ansvar i hemmet kan leda till långvarig stress.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate, and thereby highlight, the new role of special needs teachers in conducting educational development in the fields of linguistics and literacy. The thesis defines how educational development, as described by special needs teachers, can be conducted and what conditions they perceive for such development. Factors which, according to special needs teachers, promote or hinder the development are discussed.The study uses a qualitative method involving knowledge-creating dialogues, analyzed hermeneutically, with two special needs teachers. Results are then discussed in light of relevant research and sociocultural theory. The study indicates that special needs teachers? main tool, to support teachers, is diverse use of dialogue.

The aim of this study is to examine how librarians experience implementations of changes in the physical space of the public library. The study seeks to answer the following questions from the librarians? perspective: What are the underlying reasons for changes in the physical space of the library? What are the important functions of the public library to the community residents? What reactions do librarians get from community residents after changes in the physical space of the public library? The study is based on semi-structured interviews with librarians working at seven small public libraries in Sweden. A model of four library spaces, which was developed by Andersson and Skot-Hansen in 1994 and refined in 2012, is used as a theoretical framework to help analyzing the results. The majority of the libraries are structured according to the older version of the model.

In the mid-1990?s, the global computer network known as the Internet was introduced in Sweden. With this study, we are shining a light on the entrance of Swedish Public Service media on the Internet. The two major Swedish Public Service companies Sveriges Television (?Swedish Television?, also called SVT) and Sveriges Radio (?Swedish Radio?, also called SR) are included in this study.SR published its first website in 1994 and the site featured a presentation of the results from the Swedish parliament elections of that year.

EG-rätten är överordnad nationell rätt, vilket innebär att Sverige har en skyldighet att följa EG-rätten. Det övergripande målet med den Europeiska gemenskapen är att skapa en inre marknad inom gemenskapen. För att förverkliga målet att skapa en inre marknad har ett gemensamt system för mervärdesskatt utvecklats, med målsättningen att harmonisera mervärdesskatten i alla medlemsstater. Harmoniseringen har resulterat i ett flertal direktiv och det mest centrala på mervärdesskatteområdet är direktiv 2006/112/EG, mervärdesskattedirektivet. Mervärdesskattelagen[1] trädde i kraft den 1 juli 1994 och ska utformas i enlighet med mervärdesskattedirektivet.Mervärdesskatten är en allmän konsumtionsskatt, vilket innebär att den slutlige konsumenten bär bördan av skatten.

Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på varför bollspelet används för att uppnå målen i idrott och hälsa A.En studie av läroplanerna visar att bollspel inte ens är omnämnt och det är intressant eftersom skolidrotten är så präglat av bollspel. En läroplans överblick visar att idrotten har varit prestationsinriktad och betoningen har lagts på att eleverna ska visa sina färdigheter.Studien förlades till idrott och hälsa A på gymnasiet.Sex lärare valde att ställa upp på intervjuer där ställdes frågor kring deras undervisning och deras syn på bollspel. Det var problem att få folk att ställa upp, men sex stycken lärare valde att ställa upp, dessa lärare var i blandade åldrar och en jämn könsfördelning.Resultatet visar att det finns ett tydligt samband och mönster i dessa lärares undervisningsstrategier och i detta har bollspelet en central roll. Det samband som kan utläsas är att de alla trycker på den sociala biten när det blir tal om bollspel. De viktiga är inte ?jaget? det viktiga är laget.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva erfarenheter av förändringar i aktivitetsidentitet hos personer med kronisk sjukdom. För att studera detta genomfördes en litteraturbaserad studie med analys av självbiografier. Data samlades in via sex böcker som var skrivna av kvinnor mellan åren 1994- 2005. Data analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys vilket resulterade i tre kategorier: "Att förlora kontrollen", "Att göra aktiviteter på ett annat sätt" samt "Att få förändrade roller och relationer". Informanternas erfarenheter visade hur de ställs inför nya situationer där de var osäkra över sin kapacitet och kämpade för att behålla sin tidigare aktivitetsidentitet.

1994 infördes lagen om producentansvaret i Sverige, en del av denna var förordningen om förpackningar. Tanken med detta var att minska andelen avfall som gick till förbränning och deponi och samtidigt öka andelen till återvinning. Från och med 2002 blev det dessutom förbjudet att deponera brännbart avfall i Sverige. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vilken av avfallshanteringsmetoderna, återvinning eller förbränning med energiutvinning, som är mest samhällsekonomiskt lönsam gällande hantering av vätskekartonger. De externa kostnaderna, hushållens kostnader och miljökostnader, är mycket viktiga i kalkylen.

Mergers and Acquisitions have become more and more in common knower days among the companies. Factors that might influence could be such as power of competition or it could even be the aim of new strategies of the company. In mergers is it not only the buildings and the physical objects that is put together, also the human beings within the organization are put together. Each person contributes to the culture, which makes the situation more complicated. In making a merger successful, it is important to pay attention to the organizational culture.

The goal with this thesis was to look at various aspects of how teachers and students perceived the use of various texts in the collective teaching context in which they are participants. The purpose with that was to provide insight into aspects of the didactic processes that the texts and the usage of them are part of and demonstrate aspects of both the conditions and the opportunities for teaching conducted within the surveyed education. The essay analysis is based on interviews with four teachers and twelve students in a total of four teaching contexts (within subjects: Swedish and SO/Religion) about texts they worked with during a selected period of work.The essay is based on a theory of Kathleen MacCormick and Torlaug Hoel Lökkengaard where reading and writing are described as both an individual cognitive process and a common cultural process, impossible to completely separate from each other. The students description of their use of the texts show how they are influenced by teachers culture of teaching, in turn, influenced by the curriculum. In relation to Wiksten Folkeryd, af Geijerstam and Edling research on students movability in texts in the Swedish school, the survey shows some of the aspects that enable students to develop a higher level of movability in texts within the subject Swedish.

The purpose of this paper was to look into how the individual has been portrayed in the different curriculums for Swedish compulsory school from the 60?s to the 90?s. This was done in order to see what type of discourse ?monocultural- multicultural- or intercultural- the understanding of the individual has led to.The purpose was divided into five questions: Who is the individual in the curriculums? How is the individual portrayed in relation to education in the curriculums? How is the individual portrayed in relation to society in the curriculums? What type of discourse - monocultural- multicultural- or intercultural- is mirrored in the different curriculums? Is it possible to see tendencies in the discourses that lead closer to, or farther away from, an intercultural perspective? The material that was analysed consists of four different curriculums: Lgr 62, Lgr 69, Lgr 80, and Lpo 94.The method used was a discourse analytic approach based on the theory of social constructionism. The answers to the questions asked were structured with the support from definitions of monocultural discourse, multicultural discourse, and intercultural discourse, derived from Pirjo Lahdenperäs (2008) descriptions of different organizational cultures.The main conclusion drawn from this analysis was the fact that the intercultural discourse about the individual has not been obtained.
