The purpose of this study is to analyze picture books from a gender perspective. The books are found in a book box that the libraries send out to preschools. This study is based on the following questions:How are boys and girls portrayed in picture books?Do the picture books encourage or discourage the principles of equality found in the Curriculum for the Pre-School and the equality work conducted in the preschools?I performed a qualitative text and picture analysis of 12 picture books. I used Maria Nikolajeva and Kajsa Wahlströms schedule of typical masculine and feminine qualities and activities when analysing the picture books.

The essay treats how a process of implementation was executed and the teachers? relation to two curricula, Lpo94 and Lgr11, with two different grading systems, which have functioned as models for one and the same year. The purpose is to investigate the ways in which a change in curricula and syllabus affects teachers in their teaching and assessment practice in the subject of Swedish at secondary school. The investigation had a phenomenological approach and was executed by means of in-depth interviews, questionnaires and one observation. The results are based on a methodological triangulation with qualitative and quantitative data where visible similarities and differences are brought out.

The aim of this exam is about possibility to position a didactical theory of Curriculum for compulsory school, preschool class and the leisure-time centre 2011 (Lgr11). I use Michael Foucault?s discourse analysis to study the syllabuses for social sciences subjects History and Religion. The main theme is to seek what kind of world does these two social study subjects construct for students in high school. The point of using Foucault?s discourse is to seek specific knowledge and words which is used for power positioning.

Det finns inte mycket forskning inom det hÀr omrÄdet och det behövs ÄtgÀrdas. Det stÄr tydligt, bÄde i Skollagen (2010) och i vÄr lÀroplan, Lgr 11, LÀroplan för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 2011 (Skolverket 2011b), att det Àr nÄgot som alla ska göra som Àr verksamma inom skolan/fritidshemmets vÀrld. DÀrför Àr det intressant att se hur det ser ut i verkligheten. Har det blivit lÀttare efter förtydligandet i Skollagen (2010) nÀr det gÀller det systematiska kvalitetsarbetet pÄ fritidshemmen?Undersökningsmetoden Àr kvalitativ och har en hermeneutisk ansats.

The Swedish preschool combines both education and care from a holistic point of view. This makes it even harder for both parents and the educators to make an objective evaluation on their own preschool. In Sweden we are proud to have one of the world?s best preschools. It is regulated by the government and is obligated to undertake critical evaluation from the state and the parents that are the consumers of these services.

Denna uppsats behandlar den nya prototypen för radiosystem som tagits fram inom projektet GTRS. Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka hur svenska tidningsmedier skildrar diskursen kring skolans demokratiuppdrag och Sverigedemokraternas framgÄng i skolvalet Är 2010. Vi har i en tidningsstudie undersökt vilka teman och vilka diskurser man kan urskilja i tidningsrapporteringen gÀllande Sverigedemokraternas framgÄng i skolvalet. Analysmodellen utgÄr ifrÄn orsakerna till fenomenet, problemomrÄdet som sÄdant samt ÄtgÀrder i form av för- och efterarbete. Analysen av artiklarna har pÄvisat att det i media förmedlas ett allmÀnt samhÀllskval över resultatet och att de som fÄr stÄ till svars för resultatet Àr skolpersonal som enligt lag skall förmedla den demokratiska vÀrdegrunden. I vÄrt resultat Àr det förutom rektorer, SO- och samhÀllskunskapslÀrare, som fÄtt stÄ till svars för vÀrdegrundsarbetet.

The purpose of this Bachelors thesis is to investigate teachers' work and attitude to life in relation to the curriculum. Furthermore, how teachers look at students' emotional/social development in their general development. The thesis also reviews the criticism from The Swedish School of Authority on various programs primarily SET (social and emotional training)Three qualitative interviews and four observations at three different schools with teachers have been conducted. Using theories of social constructivism, deliberative conversation and social and emotional skills, the intention is to interpret the gathered material.The results show that the teachers see knowledge of life in school as important in the foundation of studentsÂŽ emotional/social development. One teacher follows the SET program and two teachers? took inspiration from various other programs and ideas.

This essay studies the christening rites in Church of Sweden and what theological motives that are present herein, and how the current revision of the rites have brought in new theological motives with the basis in the contemporary theological debate about the liturgy and theology surrounding the christening rites.The conclusion of the essay is that the revised christening rites have not included any new motives, but has rather restructured and re-emphasized the motives to adopt the christening rites to the findings of contemporary research regarding the christening..

The aim of this study was to describe how girls and boys have been represented in the Swedish children?s? magazine Kamratposten from 1950 until 2010. Kamratposten was chosen because it has both boys and girls as target audience. Three articles about children from the years 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010 were chosen as material of the study.The study is a discourse analysis that deconstruct the gender discourse of Kamratposten. The analysis is done with a gender perspective.

Elever med funktionsnedsÀttning har under sin skoltid varit med om mÄnga förÀndringar. En del av dem har börjat i grundskolan för att sedan efter sin diagnos blivit mottagna i sÀrskolan, andra har frÄn tidig Älder fÄtt sin diagnos och mottagits direkt i sÀrskolan. Med införandet av den nya skollagen har förfarandet Àndrats.  Skollagen (SFS 2010:800) (2010) menar att personer med enbart autism eller autismliknande tillstÄnd bara fÄr tillhöra sÀrskolan om de Àven har en utvecklingsstörning. En konsekvens av detta Àr att grundskolan fÄtt ta emot elever med autism eller autismliknande tillstÄnd i de vanliga klasserna, utan större omorganisation eller förberedelse.Syftet med arbetet Àr att belysa hur eleven visar delaktighet i sin undervisning.  Resultatet visar att eleverna visar sin delaktighet genom att stÀndigt vara med och pÄverka hur arbetet ska utföras och i detta blir de delaktiga i utformningen av undervisningen tillsammans med övriga elever. Det behövs en tydlig, trygg och tillÄtande lÀrmiljö för att eleverna skall kunna utveckla sina förmÄgor och vÀxa som mÀnniskor.

Som medmÀnniskor och i lÀrarprofessionen anser jag att vi mÄste ha en bra förstÄelse för genus, dÄ det pÄverkar vÄr pedagogiska grundsyn och hur vi Àr som mÀnniskor. För att kunna utmana könsnormer pÄ ett konstruktivt sÀtt menar jag att vi mÄste förstÄ vad barnen har för syn pÄ genus och tankar om skillnader mellan pojkar och flickor ur jÀmstÀlldhetssynpunkt. Studien handlar om barns tankar om genus och könsroller utifrÄn höglÀsning av Astrid Lindgrens Mio min Mio (2011/ 1954) och Gro Dahle & Svein Nyhus SnÀll (2008). Mio i Mio min Mio (2011/ 1954) representerar den snÀlla, men modiga manliga huvudrollen och Lussi i SnÀll (2008) representerar den snÀlla, men normbrytande kvinnliga huvudrollen. Huvudsakliga frÄgestÀllningar Àr hur barnen i en klass 6 tolkar den valda litteraturen i ett genusperspektiv, samt hur den pÄverkar barnen i deras tankar om genus/ könsroller.

According to the national curriculum in Swedish schools, teachers have the responsibility to prevent and discourage psychological and physical harassment (Lgr 2011). This study focuses on 7 teachers with their viewpoint and understanding of bullying as a human based social problem. The teachers, as the informants, give their personal explanation on how they act, prevent and discourage bullying in their school. The research places the emphasis, based on, interviews from which teachers are telling, relating and explaining on how they say that they are preventing and discouraging bullying.The conclusion from this study is that the interviewed teachers do, from their viewpoint, understand bullying as psychological and physical harassment problem which is based on a question of interpretation in regards to the victim. The informants do place different emphasis on what causes the problem, if it is a question of the individual or of it is a problem based on the socialization between individuals.
