This essay is about the meeting of the pedagogic mission and the reality of the conditions in preschools. It is about the frustrations that I, as a pedagogue, experience when I cannot fulfill this mission. An example of this is working when understaffed.My purpose is the acknowledgment of two main areas of the curriculum: caring and learning. This essay demonstrates the diversity of the occupation and it ?s constant need of positioning.

Terms from the client was that it cost efficiency would cope with the energy demands that are placed on the building. The unit chosen was a cross-flow heat exchanger, and this work is to compare it with two other heat exchangers to see if a more energy and cost efficient could have been chosen. The heat exchangers that was chosen for the comparison was a rotating- and a counterflow heat exchanger. Simulations have been made to the different heat exchangers by the manufacturers.

Syftet med detta gestaltande arbete är att ta reda på hur skiktlimning fungerar i skolundervisningen och vilka möjligheter som finns för att integrera den mer i skolan. Syftet är också att bidra med kunskap om tekniken till andra lärare. Detta är ett gestaltande examensarbete. Tre olika produkter tillverkades med hjälp av skiktlimning. Processen dokumenterades så att lärare och elever ska kunna använda dem i slöjdundervisningen.

Urban forests are important for people to get at break and be able to relax in a stressful world. Several studies show that we feel better through being out in the forest and historically this was the normal environment for us. As a result of population growth and urbanization we tend to spend less time in nature nowadays than before. Due to this development urban forests have become a central role in our society as a place where people can fulfill their needs and interests. The management of the urban forest is therefore important, especially for municipalities that own forest which is supposed to be of benefit to local residents.Falköpings municipality owns approximately 260 hectares of forest in the popular and most visited recreational area along Mösseberg?s southern slope.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida det existerar en så kallad cross border effekt. Det vill säga om det förekommer en positiv effekt, i form av att premien blir högre, när utländska företag förvärvar svenska. Vi ämnar även undersöka ett antal andra, i förväg bestämda, variabler som påverkar premiens storlek. Metod: För att uppfylla uppsatsens syfte har vi valt att genomföra en kvantitativ studie. Vi antar en deduktiv ansats då det finns teorier som är relevanta för vår studie.

The purpose of this Bachelor degree project is to design different types of services that can increase the amount of re-used timber within the building sector and by that means improve their environmental efforts. By examining how the sectors environmental work concerning recycling and re-using timber as a building material is getting on at present, conclusions have been drawn about what further could be done for improvement.The project has shown that there is a scarcity of information and statistics within the sector, but that there are efforts in progress to change this. Questionnaires have been sent to a number of companies working with demolition and utilizing re-usable materials in order to find out what kind of problems there are within the trade. Unfortunately the survey gave insufficient result due to the low reply frequency.It is obvious that active environmental work within the building sector is important and the knowledge acquired while working with the project has led to the design of three suggestions for services regarded as being of interest for improving the negative environmental impact caused by the sector:Suggestion 1 ? Sale of construction parts prior to the demolition of a buildingSuggestion 2 ? Re-utilization circulation when manufacturing buildingsSuggestion 3 ? Education in relation to the purchase of houses  The positive and negative qualities of the suggestions have been examined with SWOT-analysis and further adaptions and the results have been interpreted.

This "cross-culture" study deals entirely on awareness and attitudes among Kenyan andSwedish teachers in terms of gender equality. Parts of this study were conducted in Kenya,where I spent a month living and visited a school in a multi-million city. There, I conductedsemi-structured interviews with teachers and gathered material for my thesis. The purpose ofthis study is to see how teachers in Kenya relate to gender and then compare this withSwedish teachers. The study also includes a review of national policy documents for schoolregarding gender equality.

Bakgrund: För att bedriva ett framgångsrikt miljöarbete kan företagen använda sig av olika hjälpmedel och verktyg. Ett exempel på ett sådant verktyg är ett miljöledningssystem. Det har diskuterats om miljöledningssystem i sig leder till miljömässig effektivitet. Det som anses vara av större vikt är på vilket sätt företag arbetar med miljöledningssystem.Syfte: Vårt syfte är att beskriva hur miljöarbete bedrivs och förklara om det bedrivs på ett sätt som gör att den miljömässiga effektiviteten i våra fallföretag kan förbättras. Ett delsyfte är också att undersöka om det finns någon skillnad i arbetssätt gällande miljöfrågor beroende på om verksamheten är offentlig eller privat.Metod:.

This thesis discusses main problems associated with dictionary-based Cross-Language Information Retrieval as lexical and translational ambiguity of query terms, translation of compounds and phrases, dictionary limitation. The purpose of the study is to investigate how query structure influences the effectiveness of CLIR regarding performance of three query types: original query, unstructured query and structured query. Query structuring refers to the application of #syn-operator to group query terms. The study comprises an experiment that was performed in the InQuery IR system with TrecUta database that contains 550,000 news articles from different American newspapers. 24 topics were used for the experiment.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att anpassa ett existerande webbaserat administrativt system, så det fungerar med flera olika webbläsare. Fokus ligger på testningen av det befintliga systemet och de testmetoder som används för att få en så bra bild som möjligt på de ändringar som behöver göras. Efter att ha läst uppsatsen så ska läsaren kunna göra en uppskattning på hur lång tid de skulle kunna ta att göra ett liknande arbete. Uppdragsgivaren har kravet att webbapplikationen ska fungera med Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox och Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE). Uppsatsen tar upp de mjukvaruverktyg som är relevanta för examensarbetet och vilka tekniker som har använts för att att lösa de problem som har uppstått.

Arkitektfirman Kolman X Boye Architects har fått uppdraget att upprätta bygglovshandlingar för ett äldreboende. Det är ännu ej bestämt i detalj hur byggnaden skall uppföras men beställaren önskar att byggnaden uppförs i träbyggnadsteknik. Äldreboendet projekteras för 54 stycken lägenheter fördelat på sex stycken våningsplan och en total bruttoarea på strax under 6000m2. Ingen lika hög träbyggnad med denna verksamhetsklass avseende brand har tidigare uppförts i Sverige.Vår uppgift och utmaning i detta arbete har varit att reda ut problematiken kring projekteringen av exteriöra detaljer för höga hus i trä. Utifrån kända problem avseende brand, akustik och fukt har sedan ett antal detaljer som påverkar det estetiska uttrycket projekterats.

The low bearing capacity of roads during the spring thaw and periods in the autumn leads every year to increases costs for Holmen Skog. To reduce costs and increase accessibility Holmen Skog decided to install and test a CTI-system. Central tire inflation (CTI) is a system that makes it possible to monitor and vary a vehicle?s tire inflation pressures from the cabin, while the vehicle is in motion. When tire pressures are reduced, the area of the contact surface between the tire and the road increases, thus reducing the ground pressure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the CTI-equipped vehicle and analyze if the CTI technology is economical defensible during the thaw 2005.

Introduction: There was a reduction in Sweden of the share capital in 2010, in which the share capital was reduced from 100 000 SEK to 50 000 SEK. The reason behind the reduction of the share capital was to enable more people to start limited liability companies in Sweden. Meanwhile in Europe, they questioned the function of the share capital, and as a result of this discussion a number of European countries have abolished the requirement for the share capital in limited liability companies.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate what meaning the share capital has to entrepreneurs based on their own businesses, and to see what function the share capital have for the creditors.Problem: What are the meaning of the share capital for today´s entrepreneurs and its creditors?Methodology: The study is based on a qualitative research method in which a cross-sectional study was done with four small limited liability companies and four creditors.Conclusions: The share capital functions and meaning has lost its intended meaning as creditor protection and the help to facilitate the raising of capital. The share capitals intention has to some extent been eroded.
