The starting point for the question at issue has been the client's experience of their financial situation the reception and expectations towards the social welfare.In our B-level study we carried out qualitative interviews with social welfare officers to find out how they applied the "child perspective" in granting financial support and to what extent they felt that they succeeded in meeting the need of the client. The conclusion was that there is still room for improvement in this field and particularly a wish to focus more on the child's situation and development. The officers told us that they tried to pay closer attention to the child's situation through asking about the children and by visiting the families at home.They expressed awareness of the importance to a child's well being the financial situation of their family. They also expressed the need for the child to be able to take part in leisure time activities and having an active social life.In this study our research method is based on qualitative interviews.

Bröstcancer är en vanlig cancerform i Sverige idag. Vid en operation där en borttagning av en brösttumör är nödvändig kan en kvinna tvingas ta bort ett bröst eller i sällsynta fall båda. Varje förändring i kroppen medför en förändring av människors tillgång till livet. En kvinna som tvingas genomgå en bröstoperation kan ha mycket att anpassa sig till i sin förändrade situation, kroppsligt, emotionellt och socialt. Syftet med studien var att belysa bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnors anpassning till sin livssituation efter att ha tagit bort ett eller båda brösten.Åtta vetenskapliga artiklar har använts till studien.

Forskning har visat vilken betydelse den pedagogiska måltiden har för barns lärande i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var att beskriva förskollärares erfarenheter av den pedagogiska måltiden i förskolan. I studien medverkade fyra förskollärare från fyra olika förskolor. Intervjuer användes för att uppnå syftet och resultatet blev att samtliga förskollärare såg den pedagogiska måltiden som en viktig lärande situation för barnen. Studien visade även att samtliga fyra förskollärare hade liknande mål med den pedagogiska måltiden, som att t.ex.

The aim of this essay is to analyze how media constructs strategic positional statements in debates of great immediate interest in order to stress ideological standpoints. Two questions are derived on the basis of this aim.- How is Russia positioned in Svenska Dagbladet's and Dagens Nyheter's editorials in the debate on the Swedish defence during 09-01-13 - 09-01-31?- Are there differences in the positional statements between the newspapers?In the study a Critical Discourse Analytical (CDA) approach is applied, and more specifically that of Teun A. van Dijk. Both the theoretical basis and the methodological tools are based on van Dijks CDA.

This study deals with the distinct difference in media attention the earthquake-disaster in Haiti and the flood-disaster in Pakistan got in 2010. There may be many reasons to this divergence, but this study focuses on how news articles can create compassion.   This study, with its critical perspective, examines how two daily papers in Sweden portray the suffering of the victims of the catastrophes in Haiti and Pakistan, and create compassion for them. Furthermore it asks the question who benefits from the newspaper?s description of human suffering in the third world.   The result shows that the manner of which Swedish daily newspapers report from the catastrophe in Haiti creates an emotional involvement, which most likely leads to compassion. Furthermore it shows potential to lead the readers to identify with the suffering people in Haiti.   The Swedish daily newspapers report of the catastrophe in Pakistan on the other hand, does not involve the reader on an emotional level, but gives them the role of a spectator.

Abstract Children with neuropsychiatric disorders often require special arrangements from the society. These measures could target the child itself, its parents, or other parts of the social network surrounding the child. Parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders are often deeply engaged both in their child and in these measures.Three parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and four counselors in different habilitation centers, were interviewed. The purpose of this qualitative interview study was to describe the methods with which the counselors worked to support parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and to understand how the parents experienced this support offered by the counselors.The qualitative interviews with counselors and parents followed a thematic interview guide. A structured interview form was used.

Detta arbete handlar om hur man som lärare kan agera i en situation där en elev har förlorat en förälder eller då läraren har förlorat en kollega. Undersökningen bygger på en litteraturstudie och intervjuer med fyra lärare som har varit med om dödsfall i skolan. Lärarna i intervjuerna har berättat om sina egna erfarenheter, hur de har känt, tänkt och gått tillväga. Genom att ta reda på hur elever i olika åldrar reagerar på döden får man en viss beredskap för hur man som lärare kan bemöta dem. Litteraturgenomgången och intervjuerna ger bra exempel på hur man kan eller bör agera i en sorgesituation.

In the essay, the balance between being an educator and a mother of a child with autism is explored in respect to how the roles might influence the actions of a pre-school teacher. Writing is used as a method of reflection, it gives the teacher a chance to take a step back and view her practical experiences from a novel perspective; conclusions are recounted throughout the teachers narrative. The essay is based on the following questions; which problems might arise in the meeting with parents such as Adams where there is a suspicion of autism for the child? Which advantages/disadvantages might the teacher?s personal experience of autism have for the role as educator? This report describes the master thesis project ?Weight Optimization of a Composite Chassis for a Multimodal Lightweight Vehicle? which is a part of the Master program in Naval Architecture and a part of a research project at the Centre for Naval Architecture, KTH. Demands on smart and energy efficient transport solutions are continuously increasing. In the Stockholm region the citizens are expected to increase with 25% and the road vehicles with 80% until 2030, putting high demands on the traffic system. Using a small multimodal vehicle deals with this problem and uses both the land and waterways for transportation.

An auditors? job is to review the company's figures and, as an independent part, give an accurate picture of its financial situation. Auditors have to relate to ISA where ISA 570 can be found and which deals with the going concern. The standard addresses a couple of factors that may be indications that a company can have problems with their continued operation. The problem is that ISA does not evaluate the events, which is more significant than others in the assessment, but it is up to the auditor to consider.The purpose of this paper is to describe the factors, which the auditor believes is more important than others in assessing the going concern and explain why it is so.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa närståendes upplevelser vid plötslig död. Med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys och manifest ansats har sju kvalitativa artiklar analyserats, analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: Att kämpa för att få svar och känna misstro för professionen, att känna skuld för det inträffade, att söka mening, vara förvirrad, oförberedd och ensam i sorgen, att få stöd och kunna stötta andra och att acceptera och värdera livet annorlunda. Resultatet visade på att anhöriga upplevde informationsbristen från vårdpersonal som mycket frustrerande och de litade inte på att omhändertagandet av den döde var rätt. De kände sig också ensamma i sorgen och att människor de kände undvek dem för att inte behöva möta de sörjande. Allteftersom att tiden gick började livet ta form igen, deltagarna hade accepterat sin situation och fått en ny syn på livet.

Bakgrund: Den prehospitala akutsjukvården är för många patienter det första mötet i vårdkedjan. I akuta skeden ligger fokus ofta på den medicinska behandlingen vilket kan medföra att patienterna känner sig som ett objekt för ambulanspersonalen att arbeta med. Det är därför viktigt att belysa hur patienter upplever den prehospitala vården. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva patienters upplevelser av den prehospitala vården i en akut situation. Metod: Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie bestående av sju vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.
