ProblemDe senaste 20 åren har det i ledarskapslitteraturen konstaterats att det finns en avsaknad av ledarskapsforskning som inriktar sig på hur ledares arbete utövas. Det kritiska forskningsfältet, Critical Management, har varit framträdande i att konstatera detta och menar att det behövs mer forskning som söker svar på hur ledarskap utövas. De få undersökningar som genomförts har kommit fram till att det finns uppenbara svårigheter i att få svar på hur ledares arbete utövas och att mer forskningar inom området behövs. Syfte & bidragSyftet är att beskriva och analysera hur ledarskap utövas. MetodFör att uppnå vårt syfte har vi valt ut två centrala ledarskapsuppgifter som sedan ytterligare preciserats.

Bakgrund: Smärta är för intensivvårdspatienten en unik, subjektiv, obehaglig och flerdimensionell upplevelse. Intensivvårdssjuksköterskan har ett moraliskt ansvar att lindra patienternas smärta. Verbalt icke-kommunicerandepatienter kan inte skatta sin smärta med hjälp av Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). På en neurointensivvårdsavdelning (NIVA) i Stockholm har det beteendebaserade smärtskattningsverktyget- the Critical-Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT), implementerats. Intensivvårdssjuksköterskorna på NIVA använder CPOT dagligen i sitt arbete.

The aim of this study was to describe the attitudes against abused women. A literature review was used in this study. Information was collected from the literature and articles written about the subject and brought together and then critical analysed. To help with the organisation structure we used Ida Jean Orlando's theory as a theoretical framework. Our findings indicate that the nurses had a lack of acknowledgment about the women's situations and needed education about their situations.

The aim with this study has been to examine and to analyze the discourse of Rosengård in Swedish media. With the concept of discourse is meant here specific ways to speak about and to understand the world, or a part of it. In order to reach increased understanding regarding media presentations and constructions of Rosengård, I have done a study about how Rosengård has been presented in the Swedish daily and evening press during the violent acts that took place in Rosengård in the spring and summer of 2008, when youths regarding to media put cars and containers on fire, and also threw stones at fire engines and other emergency service vehicles when these had to turn out to put out the fires. The collected data, containing newspaper articles, has been analyzed on the basis of the critical discourse analysis, CDA, which is a mould of a textanalytical method. This study applies a social constructivist perspective.

This master thesis deals with steel girders subjected to patch loading caused by concentrated moments. There exist no good methods to calculate by hand the ultimate resistance for this load case. In ?tunnplåtshandboken?, (Handbook for sheet metal, which is published by SSAB), one calculation method is presented. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka och beskriva kuratorers arbete med döva och hörselskadade klienter. Frågeställningar som undersöktes var: - Hur beskriver kuratorerna sitt arbete med döva och hörselskadade klienter? - Vilka arbetsmetoder används av kuratorerna i arbetet med döva och hörselskadade klienter? - Vad innebär en kulturkompetens och en bikulturell kompetens enligt kuratorerna? Författaren ville belysa ämnet utifrån ett perspektiv där den professionella är teckenspråkig då hon anser att detta perspektiv saknas i litteraturen. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tre kuratorer som är teckenspråkiga och verksamma inom dövområdet. Resultatet visar att kuratorernas arbete består av praktiska åtgärder och stödsamtal.

BakgrundPå en intensivvårdsavdelning (IVA) vårdas patienter med akuta, livshotande sjukdomar. Patienterna utgör en del i en familj och deras sjukdomstillstånd blir en angelägenhet som påverkar hela familjen emotionellt. Närstående till kritiskt sjuka patienter är ofta djupt oroade över sina anhöriga och ibland är intensivvårdsavdelningen deras första kontakt med sjukvården. Sjukvårdspersonal är den yrkeskategori som oftast kommer i kontakt med krisdrabbade och då främst i deras akuta chockfas. Vårdpersonalens bemötande i dessa situationer har betydelse för att minska risken för framtida psykisk ohälsa hos krisdrabbade närstående.
