The purpose of this study was to investigate how media has followed the Parken Zoo incident and analyse how media convey the issue about the Parken Zoo incident. The different results have been compared. To answer the purpose of the study three issues has been formulated:  how do the different media relate to the ideal of objectivity? Who come across and get to speak in the different media? What differences and similarities are in the media?   The theories that have been used in this study are mainly McCombs theory of agenda setting, Strömbäck?s theory of framing and theory of media logic, Kovach & Rosenstiel theories of journalism and Manning?s theory of objectivity. The methods that have been used are a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative semiotic analysis.

The implementation of a material requirements planning system is a complex and demanding task. There has been much research into what factors are important in such implementations, but seemingly very little about the links between critical success factors and management control systems. This thesis attempts, through a case study, to answer the question of how management control systems affect the implementation of an MRP system in ASSA AB, a Swedish manufacturing firm. Data is primarily collected through interviews. Theory regarding implementation success definitions, critical success factors as well as management control systems is presented.

I have with this thesis sought to understand how chick lit could be useful in the classroom in the teaching of Swedish B-course in high school. Based on the model of critical literacy I am arguing that this genre would help to meet the objectives of the policy documents which, among other things, are to critically examine and analyze various types of texts.I have found that some of these texts could be used for analyzing and critically examine the ideological dimensions of texts and cultural heritage by the model of critical literacy, and also as a counterweight to the more traditional teaching of the canonical literature as a literary historical stuff that students should learn. I have also wanted to create a basis for discussions about literature in the classroom based on the chick lit genre. To do this I have, based on three themes and questions from the model of critical literacy, tried to focus on issues that might emerge from the ideological analysis and critical review. The theories that have been used to establish the results of the analysis are Critical Discourse as a theory based on Norman Fairclough and Teun A. van Dijks theoretical keystones combined with Sigurd Allerns and Ester Pollacks theories and schematic point of view on the constructions of political scandals in media.With the theories and analysis methods above mentioned the results turned out to confirm the theory about how political scandals in media are constructed and designed with certain strategies and agenda.

This essay in how to create a brand identity is a result of a case study of the Spanish mobilephone company Xfera and their new brand ?Yoigo?. Our object was to identify the critical variables in the process of building a brand identity. To achieve this we collected data about the company through several interviews with respondents with good insight in the company. The critical variables that we obtained by analyzing the interviews are presented in an empirical driven model.

I förskolan idag strävar man efter att arbeta jämställt, vilket innebär att man utgår från varje individ. Man vill ge varje barn samma förutsättningar och chans till att utvecklas. Något som man jobbar mycket med är genus, vilket handlar om att i stället för att se könet så ska man se barnen och deras handlingar. Det jag ville med min undersökning var att titta på hur pedagoger agera i olika genusrelaterade situationer i förskolan. Om man kunde se någon skillnad i pedagogers agerande och varför de agerar som de gjorde.

Handledare för en arbetsplatsförlagd lärlingsutbildning inom vården var positiva till att lärlingar befann sig på arbetsplatsen under längre sammanhängande perioder, dock upplevdes svårigheter med kommunikation och osäkerhet om lärlingarna fått med sig allt vad som krävs för yrket då de varken fick teoretiska omvårdnadskunskaper på arbetsplatsen eller i skolan.Syftet var att ur den handledande vård och omsorgspersonalens perspektiv beskriva möjligheter och hinder vid handledning av lärlingar i gymnasial omvårdnadsutbildning. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och datainsamlingen skedde med inspiration av Critical incident technique (CIT). Intervjuer genomfördes med tio lärlingshandledare anställda inom regional hälso- och sjukvård eller kommunal omsorg om äldre och funktionshindrade i sydvästra Sverige. Strategiskt urval användes för att få variation avseende kön, utbildning samt yrkes- och handledarerfarenhet. Materialet analyserades enligt innehållsanalys.I resultatet framkom två huvudkategorier:Omfattningens betydelse vid arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning beskrev hur lärlingsutbildningens upplägg påverkade möjligheterna till lärande.

The surface finishing technique called black oxidation is currently being used on thetool holders made of low alloyed tool steel produced by Sandvik Coromant. Blackoxidation isn?t considered a sufficient technique because it doesn?t make the toolholders look like the quality products that they actually are. The reasoning behind thisis that the tool holders can show signs of corrosion after prolonged storing times orin countries with high humidity and temperature. The corrosion doesn?t decrease thetool holders performance, but the customers might believe otherwise.

För att kunna erbjuda god och lättillgänglig hälso- och sjukvård vid stora olyckor och katastrofer krävs en katastrofberedskap grundad på planläggning, utbildning och övning. Sjukvårdens särskilda beredskap måste kunna hantera såväl den "lilla vardagsolyckan" som den stora olyckan eller katastrofen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur enhetschefer och distriktssköterskor vid primärvården i två kommuner i Jämtlands län upplevde sig förberedda inför en katastrof eller en stor olycka där utryckning krävdes utanför vårdinrättningar till olycksplats. Syftet var även att undersöka hur katastrofberedskap prioriteras av enhetschefer. En intervjustudie har genomförts med tre enhetschefer och fem distriktssköterskor.

The aim of this work is to take the first step into a development process, with the intention to find a way of making prehistoric soil fertility a variable in archaeological landscape analysis. A pilot study is performed on the Mälar basin area, where four topographical and geological factors are reclassified and then combined, resulting in a map which expresses a relative indication of agriculture potential. The map is then compared to the distribution of Migration Period graves and gold finds. This, however, does not mean that the technique is tied to a certain prehistoric period. Because the work is intrinsically experimental, the technique as a whole is finally discussed and evaluated, and suggestions of improvements and further studies are made..

I de flesta arbeten uppkommer situationer som kan te sig svåra och som på ett eller annat sätt måste hanteras. Den allmänna föreställningen är att svåra situationer betraktas som problem och uppfattas oftast ha en negativ innebörd. I denna uppsats har vi valt att se svåra situationer i en positiv bemärkning. Vi har för avsikt att undersöka hur svåra situationer i arbetet bidrar till lärande och utveckling för individen, i detta fall yrkesgruppen coacher. De frågeställningar vi utgår ifrån i studien är vilka svåra situationer coacherna upplever i sitt arbete, hur de hanterar svåra situationer samt vilka möjligheter till lärande och utveckling svåra situationer ger upphov till.

Denna uppsats behandlar projektutvärderingssystem med avseende på att beskriva systemet och utforska teoretiska dimensioner i systemet som kan bidra till projektkompetens. Som referenser har Jerkedals definitioner av formativ/summativ utvärdering, Söderlunds modell för projektkompetens, CSF (Critical success factors) för projekt och PERT (Project evaluation and review technique) använts. Studiens forskningsfrågor besvarades genom en fallstudie på Projektledarbyrån AB i Falun. Data till undersökningen samlades in via kvalitiva intervjuer med tre respondenter samt granskning av slutrapporter och företagets kvalitetssystemsdokument.  Resultatet av undersökningen har genererat en bild av fallföretagets nuvarande utvärderingssystem och en teoretisk klassificering av dess beståndsdelar.

Afterthe documentary film ?An Inconvenient Thruth? presented by Al Gore was released in 2006,most of the world saw a lot of attention directed towards global warming. This was a turningpoint that is refered to in this dissertation an history-graded critical event, which is assumed tohave a significant impact on peoples lives.The purpose of this dissertation is to examine whether or not political parties in Swedenresponded to this critical event in the way that they, in their party programmes, haveformulated policies related to climate change. Alternatively if media produces an image ofpolitical activity which does not comport with the forming of actual political standpoints.
