Ledningsarbetet hos ett krisföretag : en analys av ledningens hantering av en ekonomisk kris
Almost every company sooner or later ends up in a more or less difficult economical situation. The reason for the economical Crisis varies for each individual case but common for them all is that it is the management group that has failed in their work to guide the organisation to avoid a negative result. The next common denominator is that it is the management group that has to handle the changes in the company's environment and lead the company out of the Crisis. But how can they do this and take decisions in a rational and effective way and is there warnings signals that the management group missed before the Crisis was a fact? This is
some of the questions that this study is going to discuss and analyze.
The aim of the study is from a management perspective chart the strategic work of the company's management work when handling an economical Crisis.

Crisis and its implications for political legitimacy and policymaking. The climate Crisis is one
of the most pressing challenges of our time, influencing not only environmental systems but
also societal structures and governance. By analyzing the European Council?s framings during
the 2019?2024 strategic agenda, this research investigates how political actors shape
narratives to justify actions and policies in response to the climate Crisis. Through a discourse
analysis of official Council conclusions, using a framework drawing on six typologies of
framing, the research examines the Council's evolving narrative in the context of multiple
crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Crisis management planning is a relatively new policy area in the European countries. It has materialized since the fall of the iron curtain and because of the increased interest to prevent wide-ranging national emergencies. In Sweden, the county administrative board has a key obligation to perform risk analysis guidelines. This assessment involves identifying Crisis, planning response to the Crisis and, if necessary, confronting and resolving the Crisis in the geographic area of the region. Sverigedemokraternas kriskommunikation i samband med ?järnrörsskandalen? : Att inta en offerposition
This paper examines how the Swedish nationalistic political party Sverigedemokraterna communicates regarding the Crisis they experienced when the Swedish newspaper Expressen published a few video clips of three, in that time, highly important party members that got in an argument after a late night of drinking. Two of the party members were at the time of the publication the members of the Swedish parliament and all of them had important senior positions in the party. In the argument one of the party members used abusive, offensive, sexist and racist language while all acted threatening and even armed themselves with iron bars from a nearby construction site.The aim of this paper is to examine how the party Sverigedemokraterna conducts their Crisis communication, if they apologies and the fashion of the apology. A press conference with the party leader and the most active user of abusive language and also an interview with the second member of parliament who is involved in the argument are studied. The rhetorical arena is used to describe and pinpoint the most important stakeholders in the Crisis.

Method: The overall literature that was found consisted of traditional Crisis Management and the communication that goes with it, and it was mainly written for traditional channels such as newspapers. The theories could not concretely describe how organizations should handle Crisis in Social Media. Therefore, this study focuses on if and how organizations can use the traditional theories when working with Crisis management in social media. Through a qualitative method the study has examined and tested the model on three crises, and subsequently improved the model based on the empirical material and the analysis that was made. Conclusion: The conclusion found that organizations need to adjust their Crisis management after following guidelines for it to work on social media:- Strategies should be limited to only one, and be either a rebuilding strategy or a bolstering strategy.- The focus should be on emotional communication, and regarding the rational aspects the focus should be on actual actions and plans for the future.- Clear guidelines for what type of questions and critics that should be answered should be set.

Poland has since 2021 dealt with the migration Crisis at its border with Belarus and when the new government took power in 2023, many had high hopes for its management of the Crisis. But the government has opposed the EU's migration policy and continues the strict migration policies of the last government, which earlier studies have theorized, if it?s sign of a securitization of EU?s own migration policies. This essay examines the experiences of activists who work at the border, by performing interviews and a thematic analysis regarding the Polish state?s handling of the migration Crisis with the change of government in 2023 and how they see that it has affected Poland and EU?s relationship.

Annual reports are by many considered to be companies primary way to inform their world where the CEO's words are read most carefully by shareholders. The purpose of this paper is to examine the design of the CEO's words in annual reports in light of the financial Crisis in 2008. The study seeking explanations for change, similarities and differences in the various texts based on three themes which are results, future and confidence. In this qualitative study five CEO's words are explored by means of a discourse analysis, all from large Swedish industrial companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Some of the results shown is that the CEO tends to talk about the company's results in a self-serving manner and CEO speaks more aboutm the results before than after the Crisis.

In the new media society, social media has become an important part of many organizations' daily lives. Organizations, whether public or private, must be where their audience is and many times, these can be found on social media channels like Facebook. Leading researchers in the fields of Crisis communication and relationship management believe that social media is a great tool for managing relationships between an organization and its' public, whether it's before, during or after a Crisis.The purpose of this study is to examine how the Karlstad municipality use Facebook to manage civic relations before, during and after a Crisis. The municipality's approach will be compared to the citizens' experiences of the municipality's communication in different stages of a Crisis.The theoretical framework used in this essay is the research on Crisis communication and relationship management. How these two frameworks can be integrated with social media like Facebook, is an important part of understanding how the Karlstad municipality make use of Facebook to manage civic relations and communicate before, during and after a Crisis.The empirical study consists of a qualitative interview, two qualitative content analysis and an online survey.

The focus group sessions were made during February, March and April 2012.Main results The main findings in this study are that users expect the communication flow in social network sites (SNS) during a Crisis is to be a shortcut to information without a detour through organizations or traditional media. Although we find personal gratification, like interpersonal communication, quick information and sharing feelings and experience with others by using SNS during a Crisis, users also tend to be hesitant about the credibility of the shared information. Alongside the user created content, we look to professional media experts and organizations as a guarantee for the veracity of the shared information.

During the Swedish banking Crisis in the early 1990?s, the government paid out 65 billion Swedish kronor to save Swedish banks from bankruptcy. In the process, two banks left the private sector to be taken over by the state. This thesis builds on a study from 1998 in seeking to quantify the financial end result for the Swedish government from the subsidies. Taking a cash flow approach and accounting for the time difference, it starts with the money paid out during the years of Crisis and subtracts the money that has since been returned to the government by successful management of the relinquished assets.

The aim of this study was to understand how the professional in social work handles the media scrutiny. When the media writes about social services there is seldom anything positive written about it, many social services organizations are instead heavily criticized and scrutinized by the media. When social services organizations are scrutinized by the media there is a Crisis at work, and therefore should be handled as a Crisis. Therefore, we describe how a Crisis management might look like in an organization. The study is qualitative therefore we have interviewed four municipalities in Sweden that have been exposed by the media at a national level.
Kubakrisen : En tidningsstudie om svenska morgontidningars rapportering kring krisen
AbstractKubakrisen; En tidningsstudie om svenska morgontidningars rapportering kring krisen The Cuban Missile Crisis; A media study of Swedish morning papers reporting about the Crisis The purpose of the survey is to illustrate how four Swedish newspapers, Svenska Dagbladet, Göteborgs Handels- och Sjöfartstidning, Dagen and Ny Dag reports about the Cuban missile Crisis based on the questions. The survey highlights what distinguishes the morning papers and by how they take the position of the ship blockade against Cuba that United States issued and what position they take on who to blame in the conflict, but also how leaders Khrushchev, Kennedy and Castro portrayed. The study is based on the basis of a newspaper study and theory of priming serves as an instrument for the collection of materials. The survey results show in the first issue of how the papers stand to US ship blockade, which SvD endorses, while GHT and Ny Dag condemns it and Dagen stand in the middle without any real position. Previous studies treated SvD stance during the Cold War, shows that during the Vietnam War in 1965 SvD was very critical of the USA and their involvement. In this study, regarding the Cuban missile Crisis, SvD are most clearly pro-US while Ny Dag accuse and highlights strong criticism of the United States. As for Chrusjtjov, Kennedy and Castro, the survey shows that three out of four newspapers writes about a surprised Chrusjtjov, who had gone too far and a Kennedy who are determined and implacable.
