Inlärning i Emotional Behavior Networks : Online Unsupervised Reinforcement Learning i kontinuerliga domäner
The largest project at the AICG lab at Linköping University, Cognitive models for virtual characters, focuses on creating an agent architecture for intelligent, virtual characters. The goal is to create an agent that acts naturally and gives a realistic user experience. The purpose of this thesis is to develop and implement an appropriate learning model that fits the existing agent architecture using an agile project methodology. The model developed can be seen as an online unsupervised reinforcement learning model that enhances experiences through reward. The model is based on Maes model where new effects are created depending on whether the agent is fulfilling its goals or not.The model we have developed is based on constant monitoring of the system.
Arbetsbeskrivning av allmänna kostnader : För bedömning och uppföljning inom husbyggnation
I samarbete med Skanska Sverige AB, Region Hus Stockholm Bostäder har detta examensarbete upprättats. Examensarbetet handlar om bedömning och uppföljning av de allmänna kostnaderna, (AK), inom regionen. Inom husbyggnation är de allmänna kostnaderna en del av projektets totalkostnad och är i de flesta fall svåra att beräkna. Delar av Region Hus Stockholm Bostäder har arbetat med att ta fram erfarenhetsvärden och nyckeltal, för att få ökade kunskaper om AK i projekten och därigenom underlätta bedömningarna för prissättning i kommande projekt. Syftet är att försöka bidra till högre produktivitet genom att göra bättre bedömning, uppföljning och erfarenhetsåterföring med hjälp rekommendationer. Målet är ta fram en generell beskrivning av en rekommenderad arbetsrutin som ska ha en ?best practice? funktion för framtida arbeten.
Lust att föda. En kvalitativ studie om kvinnors lustfyllda och sexuella upplevelser under födandet
The aim of the present thesis is to find deeper knowledge about women?s experiences of sexuality, desire and pleasure during childbirth. In this thesis there are statements of women?s different kinds of pleasurable and sexual feelings and experiences during birth. Furthermore, factors that may influence some women?s feelings and experiences of a sexual kind are discussed in relation to the common notion that women above all feel fear and pain when giving birth.
Factors affecting crop insurance decision : a survey among Swedish farmers
Farmers are constantly facing changes, and the exposure to risk requires monitoring these changes. Financial risks, institutional risks, market risks and production risks are the different risk categories that the farmers face. Production risks stems from factors the farmer cannot affect or is beyond his control. The crop?s output is the basis for the primary income of agricultural operations, which is why it is important for farmer to manage their production risk.
A tool to reduce the consequences of production risks is crop insurance.
Olika aktörers syn på bostadsrättsmarknadens utveckling - Med fokus på Göteborgs innerstad
Under de senaste åren har det i media spekulerats om en eventuell bubbla på den globala bostadsmarknaden. Den internationella finanskrisen blev slutet på en stadig bostadsprisutveckling i många länder. Under 2010 låg bostadspriserna på högre nivåer än innan finanskrisen och det har spekulerats att priserna kan komma att falla i betydande mängd. Frisell och Yazdi har kommit fram till att prisutvecklingen på den svenska bostadsmarknaden i stor utsträckning kan förklaras av två verkliga faktorer, högre disponibla inkomster och strukturellt lägre reala bolåneräntor.Vi har i denna uppsats studerat olika aktörers syn på prisutvecklingen av bostadsrättsmarknaden i Göteborgs innerstad i april/maj 2011, utifrån olika övergripande ekonomiska aspekter. Marknaden undersöks ur tre olika perspektiv, långivare, låntagare och en mäklare.
Kreditbedömning och värdering av kommersiella fastigheter
En investering i en kommersiell fastighet kräver finansiering av något slag. I dagsläget är det vanligt förekommande att fastighetsinvesterare tar banklån för att erhålla likvida medel för fastighetsköpet. För en beviljad kredit krävs det även att en värdering av fastigheten har genomförts. Därför är kreditbedömning och värdering av kommersiella fastigheter två betydelsefulla processer i bankens dagliga arbete. Relationen mellan fastighetsinvesterare och banken är också av avgörande betydelse då fastighetsinvesteraren är i behov av likvida medel för sitt fastighetsköp.

In this final thesis a study about welfare indicators in the Swedish milk production has been carried out. The system Swedish Animal Welfare Monitoring Scheme developed by the Swedish Dairy Association has been used as a base and the EU project WELFARE QUALITY® has also been used as a source of information. Focus groups have been used as a qualitative investigating method. This included four focus groups, two with farm auditors from the two different dairies and two with dairy farmers. This method was chosen because in this way one can study how a conversation about a given subject takes form in a respectable way.
Utvärdering av Naturvårdsverkets bedömningsgrunder för makrofyter i sjöar
According to the Water Framework Directive of the European Union, macrophytes should be used as indicators in the ecological and environmental monitoring of lakes. In the member state Sweden the Environmental Protection Agency has elaborated assessment criteria for determining lake status based on macrophytes. The main focus of this thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of the assessment criteria for macrophytes. In addition the concordance between the ecological status classes of the four quality factors included was analysed.The assessment criteria for macrophytes are based on the total phosphorus preference of the respective species. The focus is thus mainly on the nutrient level of the investigated lakes and the environmental problem monitored is eutrophication.

This makes it difficult to control and monitor their business outcome but it also causes difficulties in controlling the tool suppliers? outcome.
Möjligheter och hinder för att utöka omfattningen av RoHS-direktivet
The RoHS Directive was introduced in order to restrict hazardous substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, EEE. It currently restricts the use of six hazardous substances/compounds; cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE. The RoHS Directive currently includes category 1-7 and 10 in the categories of EEE listed in Annex 1A to the WEEE-Directive (Waste of EEE). The aim with the report is to investigate and elucidate prospects and obstacles to increase the scope of RoHS. This report mainly considers the inclusion of product categories 8 (Medical Devices) and 9 (Monitoring and Control Instruments).

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the possibility to make small, cheap and ultra low power sensor platforms, connected in wireless networks for monitoring of home and industrial environments. The concept is based on ideas from our supervisor, Jerry Lindblom. The developed system consists of a generic platform for different sensors, a receiver and software. A GPRS module from RO Rollytech AB and a database from Gema Industri AB have been modified and used to demonstrate an example of a complete system. To the platform, it is possible to connect any resistive sensor and any sensor that can act as a switch.
Management factors influencing sow productivity in successful Swedish and Danish herds
The number of weaned piglets per sow and year is a good measurement of sow productivity since it is affected by the number of piglets born alive, the pre weaning mortality (i.e. mortality of live born piglets between birth and weaning) and the number of litters per sow and year. This measure is also closely connected to the number of piglets produced per year, which partly determines the profitability of the piglet producer. During this study, eleven successful piglet-producing herds were visited. Eight of the producers were Swedish and three of the producers were Danish.
