Hur företag förhåller sig till rankinglistor tros enligt tidigare forskning bero på ett proaktivt agerande från företagens sida för att motverka risken att dras med ett dåligt rykte, vilket är något som företagsledare i dag ser som den mest oroande risken. Ryktet kan ses som en reaktion på ett företags arbete utifrån uppfattningar från dess intressenter gällande företagets beteende. Dessa reaktioner och uppfattningar kan tydliggöras genom bland annat rankingar och andra mätningar.Syftet med denna uppsats är att öka förståelsen för hur företag förhåller sig till rankinglistor. Undersökningen utgår från Sustainable Brand Insights (SBI) årliga index över Sveriges mest hållbara varumärke och genomfördes genom intervjuer med sex av de 20 högst rankade företagen, samt SBI. Studien visar för det första att företagen förhåller sig olika till rankingen.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate Komm-A, a model for usingcommunication books in clinical practice for people with aphasia. The studyconsisted of two group studies and one case study. One of the group studies had apretest-posttest design and consisted of nine couples; a person with aphasia andhis/her communication partner. The material used was Quality of communicationlife scale (QCL), Communicative effectiveness index (CETI), Goal attainmentscaling (GAS), and a questionnaire to the communication partner. The other groupstudy consisted of seven speech-language pathologists who worked with thecouples according to the Komm-A model.

EPiServer is a content management system where users can publish information on a website by using a web browser. EPiServer has a built-in search engine that is very simple. Many customers using EPiServer web publishing system is in need of more functionality than is offered by EPiServer's built-in search engine. The purpose of this thesis is to develop additional functionality extends that the built-in search engine in EPiServer. The assignment was also to identify what need to be developed in order to give customers a better  opportunity to help their visitors find the right information on their website.Since this thesis was started in 2005, a number of commercial search engine productsentered  the market and it has become more common for companies to invest inthese products instead of using the simple search engine that's built into EPiServer.These products have many of the features that have been developed in this thesis.Another crucial difference between EPiServer?s built in engine and other products isthe method used to index content.

Money by definition is always a subjective human creation. Because of this it is unavoidablethat the physical and mental structure of a specific money system will have an effect on thesociety where it is circulating. With this fact as a starting point, the thesis is analysing whetherthe Swedish national currency, the crown, is consistent with a sustainable development. Theaim of the analysis is to: (a) identify the major shortcomings of the infrastructure of the crownin relation to its ability to support a sustainable development, (b) evaluate what possiblesolutions there are at hand to adjust for the shortcomings. Three-phase events measured in a medium network voltage over period of one month were analyzed, results examined and statistically evaluated. An algorithm for calculating voltage sag characteristics and indices was created in Matlab.

This study investigates how the concept of Social Responsible Investment (SRI) can be applied to futures trading. More specifically, this study examines the possibility of creating a SRI-product for an investor, active in futures investments within commodities, energies and stock indices, and the content of such a product is suggested. We conducted a qualitative study, based on a number of interviews. The study suggests that investments in futures of specific assets are to be equated with investments directly in the underlying assets from a SRI point of view. Therefore, we analyzed the underlying assets of futures traded commodities, energies and stock indices, and used social screening, together with specific screening criteria, for the analysis.

How could the abolishing of demand on auditing in Denmark and England relate to Swedish possible abolishing of auditing?Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine and describe how closed companies stand to abolishing of demand on auditing and which affects they think they will get.Method: The authors have chosen to use a qualitative method. With open questions can give space for discussions, which can give the authors better understanding. The empirical material consists of eight different closed companies. The subordinate data were collected before the interview occasion, this because to develop the interview questions.Conclusion: The authors has come to a conclusion that larger the closed company is, the more of them will keep audit.

Syftet blir således att undersöka hur de mest attraktiva arbetsplatserna för ekonomistudenter förmedlar sitt arbete med mångfald, samt hur ekonomistudenter upplever och värderar arbetsgivarnas arbete med mångfald. En kvalitativ granskning av årsredovisningar och hemsidor har genomförts. Delar av datan kvantifierades enligt ett förutbestämt index.
