The overall aim of the study was to take part of teachers' experiences and work force mother-tongue education and literacy development in the Sámi School. The study was conducted through interviews with twelve teachers who teach at two Sámi schools. The focus has been on looking how to work with native speakers teaching at the Sámi School, what factors promote / hinder students' development of their first or second language, and the importance of collaboration between the schools` various professions work with multilingual students reading and writing skills. Through interviews of various categories of teachers, I have tried to visibility problems of the education of minority language children and their reading and writing skills. I discuss the teaching, the importance and the lack / availability of communication and consensus between different categories of teachers.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda vilka faktorer som påverkar själva användningen vid införande av ny teknik i mobiltelefoner. Vi ville undersöka hur 3G tekniken används samt vilka komplikationer som tänkas finnas med brukandet av tekniken. Vi har valt att endast titta på funktionaliteten i själva mobiltelefonen ur ett användarperspektiv samt hur användaren uppfattar och tar till sig tekniken. Vi har använt oss av ett mindre antal semistrukturerade intervjuer i vår studie. Teorin som används i uppsatsen behandlaranvändaracceptans och användbarhetsaspekter.

The structural rationalization of rural firms in Sweden has led to many new creative ways of developing companies. The agriculture sector is characterized by the need of capital in form of buildings, labor and inventory. The rationalization process has led to free capacity in rural firms when new technology make buildings and inventory not longer necessary for the production process. To get a better cost coverage this free capacity can be used to start-up new business areas that help the rural firm to growth.The study aims to identify factors that motives entrepreneurs in rural firms to develop new business areas. The purpose is also to analyze driving forces that lies behind development of rural firms and the forces that support or not support development in rural firms.The study is built upon five cases that all can be categorized as firms with different size and orientation.

Syftet med detta arbete är att studera orsakerna till varför alltfler elever tycker att matematiken är tråkig under grundskolans senare del. Finns det något gemensamthos dessa elever? Hur kan man motverka att de drabbas av "mattetristessen"? Det är dessa två frågor detta arbete berör. Metoden som använts är dels en kvantitativ som består av elevenkäter men även en kvalitativ del där jag har intervjuat tio elever. Dessutom har en litteraturstudie bedrivits.

Typically, when Faurecia in Torsås are planning a new assembly line, one of the steps is to build a full-scale model of the line in card board, a form of mock-up planning. Faurecia has shown interest in finding an alternative methodology. The purpose was to explore the possibility of replacing today's cardboard based mock-up planning with models in a digital simulation environment.The purpose of the thesis has been to answer some of these complex questions; What are the benefits of using a simulation tool? In what way can we use it? If we choose to use a simulation tool, in what way does it affect our way of planning an assembly line? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Are there any economical and social aspects?Our results made us realize that a digital simulation tool does not replace the card board. On the other hand simulation could be used as a complement.

Syftet med denna studie är att ge en bild av vad som motiverar till användandet av nätdejtingtjänster och om denna motivation skiljer sig mellan kön, ålder eller de som betalar eller inte betalar för sin nätdejting. Vi ville även se om denna tjänst gav användaren något mervärde gentemot den traditionella kontaktannonsen. För att uppnå detta syfte har vi, genom en kvantitativ metod, samlat på oss information, given nätdejtare, med hjälp av en webbundersökning. Denna undersökning baserades på tidigare forskning kring motivation till Internetanvändning. De svar vi fick analyserades och jämfördes sedan mot teorier kring Internetanvändning.

Title: How do you get a pupil from Year 7-9 in secondary school to communicate in German?  Five high school teachers views on how to develop pupils oral communicative skill within the German language The aim of this essay is to explore Swedish secondary school teachers, from Year 7-9 in the German language, opinions regarding which work models and verbal strategies that are used and taught in order to foster the pupils oral communicative skill in the classroom. To achieve this aim, semi-structured interviews with five teachers are used.The results show that the teachers find that they encourage the pupils to speak German through creating possibilities for them to practise their oral language skills. The teachers also emphasize that they believe that alternating assignments in groups or pairs, where the students get the chance to be creative, activates the pupils to speak German the most. They also express an awareness for the fact that open or information questions encourage the pupils to use their creativity and speak more German.

Förr i tiden producerades musik med analog hårdvara och datorer användes inte i någon vidare utsträckning. På 80-talet introducerades datorer och nu produceras nästan all musikmed hjälp av datorer. Denna uppsats belyser om, och i så fall hur, införandet av datorer i musikproduktion har påverkat musikproducenter i deras arbete i vardagen. Vi har intervjuat ett antal musikproducenter för att se hur deras användande av datorer i sina arbetsuppgifter har förändrat, förbättrat och försämrat deras arbete. Undersökningenhar genomförts med avstamp i ett sonderingssamtal med en musikproducent på en musikstudio i Malmö för att sedan mynna ut i semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem musikproducenter.

En studie av pedagogers arbete med matematik (Is Mathematics playful? A study on pedagogues' math teaching), Lärarutbildningen; Malmö högskola. Denna uppsats har som syfte att ta reda på hur pedagoger i skolan planerar och genomför sin undervisning i matematik. Utgår pedagogen från elevens erfarenheter och tankar eller utgår pedagogen endast från ?matteboken? när de planerar och genomför undervisningen? I uppsatsen kommer vi att undersöka vilket material som främst används i undervisningen och vad det är som påverkar pedagogernas val av material och hur de planerar sin undervisning så att den blir så lustfylld så möjligt? Till vår undersökning har vi valt att intervjua pedagoger på två olika skolor i södra Sverige. Antalet intervjuer blev totalt fem stycken.

In this essay, I have interviewed four pedagogues from three preschools whit different pedagogical purposes. The purpose was to find out how they work with mathematics outdoor. In addition to interviews, I have conducted observations at each preschool. The different preschools are one traditional, one Reggio Emilia and one ?all weather? (Friluftsfrämjandet) preschool.

The purpose of this master-thesis in library and information studies is to investigate how different views on children´s literature show up in pedagogical work in preschool. The aim is also to study methods used in the pedagogical work with literature. Are there any connections between views and methods? Is any view predominant or are they used in combination? The question at issue is: "Are there any connections between different views on childrens literature and pedagogical methods in preschool, and if so, how do they show?" The framework of theory is based on epistemological concepts viewing children´s literature by John Hultberg. In "Om humaniora, litteratur och tradition" he sorts out three strategies: the pragmatic, the traditional, and the emancipating.

The aim of this thesis is to look for signs of students? understanding of algebra by studying how they make the transition from arithmetic to algebra. Students in an Upper Secondary class on the Natural Science program and Science and Technology program were given a questionnaire with a number of algebraic problems of different levels of difficulty. Especially important for the study was that students leave comments and explanations of how they solved the problems. According to earlier research, transitions are the most critical steps in problem solving.

The aim of this study is to highlight the computer as a learning resource in the education and give us knowledge about how the students uses the computer in year one in a selected High School where one computer per student were introduced in autumn 2011. The aim is also to contribute to the discussion about how the computer can become a natural learning resource for all students in all subjects, including the students in need of special support.How are the High School students using the computer?Are there differences in computer use, whether the student is in academic or vocational program?Are there differences in computer use between boys and girls?Do the student experience that the digital competence is increasing together with if they experience the computer as aid?In what degree do the teachers encourage the students to use the computer?How much do the students use the computer to learn mathematic?The study is based on a survey of all students in year one in a municipal High School.The result of the study is showing that the students first of all use the computer to play music, surf the Internet and to be logged in on social media (eg. Facebook). The students have learned to use the computer for the tasks they need, although the teachers don?t encourage the students to use the computer in any higher means, not in mathematics and not in other subjects.

Med tankar från pedagogen Montessori och filosoferna Platon och Baudrillard har detta arbete behandlat frågor om datorn och dess betydelse för en grafiker. Frågeställningen formulerades efter hand och lydde tillslut: ?Hur kan materia te sig i digital form?? Forskningen resulterade i en hypotes för hur digital materia skulle födas i datorn: genom att blanda två uppsättningar av data, såsom två genuppsättningar tillsammans skapar en ny organism. Under produktionen utvecklades därmed en metod för hur en grafiker ska kunna skapa tillsammans med en dator. Syftet är att ge andra grafiker ett nytt sätt att se på digital grafik.
