Svensk persontrafik på norsk järnväg: En analys av gränsöverskridande snabbtågstrafik mellan Trondheim och Östersund
AbstractThis report has been developed in cooperation with Peab Region Bostad Göteborg, mentor at Krook& Tjäder (through Chalmers), and examiner at Chalmers University of Technology. The report is the result of a research of a building project, constructed by Peab. The report is investigating and it means to identify and evaluate qualities in the dwelling and its surroundings. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.
Potentiell fosforfrigörelse från sedimentet i Bornsjön, sydvästra Stockholm : The potential leakage of phosphorus from sediment in Lake Bornsjön, south western Stockholm
Lake Bornsjön is situated 30 km southwest of Stockholm in a rift valley lake and consist three basins outstretched in northwest-southeast direction. The surface area is 6,7 km2 with a maximum depth of 18,3 meters, a mean depth of 9,8 meters and a retention time of the water of 6,5 years. The drainage area is 42 km2 and consists mainly of arable land (ca 1000 ha) and productive forestry land (2500 ha), but in the drainage area there are also restored and fairly newly constructed wetlands.Today the Stockholm area receives its drinking water from Lake Mälaren, but if there would be any pollution of this source, Lake Bornsjön would act as the water source. The area surrounding the lake was bought already in 1899 by Stockholm Stad for protection of the lake and was taken over 1993 by Stockholm Vatten AB. It has been a water protection area from 1988 and it was also accepted as a nature reserve in 1995.
Johannishusparken : historia, nutid, framtid
Summary
The estate of Johannishus is situated in the south of Sweden and in the province of Blekinge, about 8 kilometres from the city of Ronneby. The main building together with the park represents the province´s only example of a well preserved estate environment from the early 1800th Century, and was declared as a historic monument in 1982 because of its unique role in the province. Johannishus Park has during 300 years developed in close relation to the main building, the landscape and the surrounding infrastructure. Each century and owner has had an influence on the park, which has resulted in an interesting visible cross-section of 300 years of Swedish garden history. Most noticeable today are the traces from late 19th Century, but in its oldest parts the park contains structures from the early 18th Century.

Trygghetsskapande design av Mörby stadspark :
The purpose with this thesis is to investigate how to design a
urban space so that it is experienced safe and how to implement
this at an actual site. Knowledge on the subject has
been gathered through litterature studies and interviews with
experts. Through an analysis of the site with surroundings and
studies of projects with similar problems, practical actions
have been observed. Part taking in the municipalities planning
process has given insight in the projekt as an whole and
the interests of different parties.
There are many different opinions about what the word safety
means. It is a feeling depending on situation, that is affecting
our daily behaviour.
ABSTRACT
There is present a lot of focus on animal welfare issues during transport and the related
loading and unloading of animals. This thesis is a field study investigating the present
situation of beef and dairy farms in Sweden. The predominant reasons stressing cattle when
transported to abattoirs are when they are loaded and unloaded on the trucks. The aim of this
thesis is to improve the handling and the loading facilities to facilitate the handling and
reduce the stress for the animals as well as the personnel.
The field study was done by travelling together with the transports from the farm to the
abattoir in Uppsala. Three trucks where used and about 60 farms were visited January to
March 2003.
