The purpose of this study was to investigate the results obtained from scientific articles concerning research into group rehabilitation for people over 65 years with hearing problems. The interest arose then group rehabilitation was unusual in the audiologists work, even though previous research showed these positive effects. With a group rehabilitation, the participants can easier accept theire hearing loss and hearing aid, compaired with an individual rehabilitation. The method used was a literature study. PubMed and PsycINFO databases were used in the search for literature.

In my work as family counselor I have long seen a pattern with many of the couples I?ve met. Thepattern consists of a movement where one person take an offensive, accusing and sometimeschasing position, whilst the other person is on the retreat. Over and over again I?ve made theexperience that if you help them solve a single problem another one pops up.

Hypertoni är idag en folksjukdom som berör många patienter i vården. Det är därför viktigt som sjuksköterska att ha kunskap om de olika behandlings-metoderna. Syftet var att studera vilka livsstilsförändringar som kan påverka hypertoni och att belysa sjuksköterskans roll vid de icke-farmakologiska metoderna. Fokus inriktades mot primärvården hos patienter som var över 18 år. Litteraturstudien är baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet kategoriserades i kost, övervikt, viktminskning, fysisk aktivitet, andning, stress, rökning och alkohol.

I detta arbete har vi haft som syfte att utreda om det postmoderna samhällets värderingar skapar ett behov av att förändra vägledningen i riktning mot en holistiskt inriktad vägledning, i arbetet betecknad som Personlig vägledning. Resultatet i arbetet tycker vi visar att det föreligger ett sådant behov. Mycket talar för att vi till stora delar redan lever i det postmoderna samhället och därför anser vi att det är angeläget att vi i vägledningskretsar diskuterar detta vidare. Vi vill även se fortsatt forskning inom området av samma skäl. Arbetet bygger på litteraturstudier och som teoretisk grund ligger Konstruktivistisk vägledning..

Background: The women who were called in for further examinations after a breast screening had all their examinations and test during one day. This organization has been conducted since 1993 in this clinic, but has not previously been evaluated. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the patients? experiences of the organization, in a radiologic breastcancer clinic, where all the examinations and the test-results were given at the same day. Method: An empirical quantitative study was performed.

In the thesis the author attempts to focus on what value Career theories (such as turning points, planned happenstance, SCCT and PEC) may have for guidance counselors, and their clients. The author describes a number of theories, then put them to use on a number of interviews where clients describe their present career situation to guidance counselor students. This qualitative studie discusses how psychologists can integrate clients' secular or religious philosophies into Counseling and psychotherapy, as themes that are psychologically meaningful. The studie also discusses how psychologists can understand and respond to the psychological aspects of clients' existential and religious experiences. Eight psychologists were interviewed and their experiences were analysed using a phenomenological method.The results of the interviews suggested that the eight psychologists could handle the psychological aspects of clients' philosophies, by investigating their own personal philosophies and scientific ontologies. It was also discussed how an awareness of the psychologists' professional boundaries and personal experiences of existential and religious phenomenons, could facilitate an integration of clients' existential and religious experiences..

The aim of this study has been to create an understanding for the situation of an often forgotten group in foster care, the carers? own children. Our main focus has been the experience this group has of foster care, their experience of participation in caring for the foster children and their possible need of support and help. Our chosen method has been qualitative interviews with six adult children of foster carers, two men and four women. The theory used in this study has been Sense of Coherence.Our interviewees gave mainly a positive description of being part of a foster family even though they could give examples of difficult situation and of loss.

The purpose of this study was to examine guidance activities in an employment office and to explain the significance these activities have for the job seekers' way towards an occupation. The method used was literature studies and qualitative interviews with respondents in three categories: a manager, two workingmediators and three job seekers, all at the same employment service office. The results that emerged was that there are different kinds of guidance in the employment service, both in the narrow sense and broad sense. The different categories of respondents describe and define the guidance activities in different ways and have different descriptions of how these activities can help job seekers into employment. The conclusions drawn where that the manager sees everything on the employment service as guidance, workingmediators differ in their roles as advisers and counselors.

Syftet med denna studie är att nå ökad kunskap om hur arbetsuppgifter kan se ut för en ny examinerad vägledare på olika arbetsplatser. I undersökningen ges också en blick över vägledarnas upplevelser när det gäller relationen mellan deras kompetens och arbetsuppgifter. Genom kvalitativ metod där fem intervjuer med studie- och yrkesvägledare i Stockholms län har analyserats. Vi har kommit fram till att dessa studie- och yrkesvägledare har haft ett arbete efter avslutad examen inom skolväsendet. Alla vägledarna ser ett samband mellan den kompetens de har fått från utbildningen och deras arbetsuppgifter och yrkesroller.

This study aims to describe how active guidance counselors can look at the guidance of unaccompanied refugee children by using their experience. The study will focus on advice and the study is based on a qualitative approach in which interviews were conducted with seven guidance counselors. The result shows that there are major differences in how the interviewee?s approach guidance of newly arrived unaccompanied refugee children. There are differences both in terms of the experience of advising newly arrived unaccompanied refugees and in how their role is designed.Also shown are also some similarities; guidance and Counseling with newly arrived unaccompanied refugee is described as difficult.

This study is investigating what conditions can strengthen an alliance and which obstacles there are. Coercion aspects can also influence an alliance and are therefore also written about. The asymmetrical relationship between the social worker and the juvenile delinquent is investigated also with in regards to the tacit and explicit coercion when they are entering care. The study is focusing on the consequence/influence programs that the juvenile delinquents can be sentenced to because of their crimes. Counseling is a major part in these programs.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie i form av sju semistrukturerade intervjuer var att undersökahur olika aktörer arbetar för att stödja sina klienter mot en positiv framtid. Avsikten var att belysa klienternas behov, hur väl dessa stämmer överens med det stöd aktörerna erbjuder samt att undersöka om detta stöd har likheter med det sätt på vilket studie- och yrkesvägledare arbetar. Resultatet visar att klienternas behov är komplexa men till stor del handlar om stöd i att skapa en bättre självbild och stöd i samverkan mellan olika instanser. Detta stämmer väl överrens med det stöd verksamheterna erbjuder. Inom samtliga verksamheter används också för studie- och yrkesvägledare `typiska´ aktiviteter.
