According to the client, land survey of Sweden, there is no current information regarding other well developed property tax systems. This information is necessary in order to analyze the effectiveness and develop the Swedish system. The purpose of this study is to contribute with improvement proposals to the development of the Swedish property tax system through a survey of the English and Welsh property tax system.Methods used are: (1) a literature review where the English and Welsh valuation methodology and organization regarding property taxation is studied; (2) an interview with the client at the land survey of Sweden regarding existing problems with the Swedish property tax system; (3) An interview with a contact person of the Valuation Office Agency regarding the English and Welsh property tax system.In England and Wales there are two different property taxes for municipals, Council Tax and Rating. All domestic properties are included in Council Tax and commercial properties or part of commercial properties is included in Rating. Council Tax is based on the properties market value and Rating is based on the commercial property or part of the properties current rental value.

Röntgensjuksköterskor har viss teoretisk utbildning inom ultraljud. Ungefär 1 000 personer avlider årligen i följder av abdominella aortaaneurysm. Det finns beräkningar som visar att cirka 30 000 av alla män och 6 000 av alla kvinnor i Sverige över 65 år har ett oupptäckt aortaaneurysm.Syfte: Att belysa hur omfattande teknisk träning röntgensjuksköterskor behöver för att utföra ultraljudsundersökning av aorta med avseende på förekomst av abdominella aortaaneurysm och att belysa behovet av den kompetensen.Metod: En systematisk litteraturöversikt valdes för att få en bild av forskningsläget. Översikten bygger på 14 artiklar ur databaserna PubMed, Scopus och Cinahl.Resultat: Det framgick att bland andra läkarstuderande och läkare utan tidigare erfarenhet av ultraljud i olika länder på kort tid har kunnat utbildas till ultraljudsoperatörer av aorta med avseende på förekomst av abdominella aortaaneurysm.

This thesis examines the extent to which segmentation and categorization in the context of direct marketing is an efficient way for a company to enhance its marketing effectiveness. The thesis is built on social identity and categorization theory, and tested by using statistical analysis. Since more and more members of EU does liberalise the gambling reforms and introduces a license system more participants will get an EU license for online gambling. With an EU license it is difficult for members of the EU to refuse a company to offer a gambling supply on the Internet if they don?t have an open license system. This paper tries to acknowledge the problem regarding the monopoly Sweden has today and calculate the effect if Sweden would move to a license system regarding online gambling by doing a cost benefit analysis.

The purpose of this bachelor degree thesis is to analyze technical issues associated with an implementation of a low sloping trash rack with narrow spacing. A hydropower plant in Umea?lven was used as a case study. The basis for the study was a model where trash racks were dimensioned for inclinations between 25 and 45 degrees. Corresponding head loss, durability and water speed through the rack were then determined for each inclination.
