Sammanfattning. Studiens syfte var att undersöka vad chefer och handledare uppfattar vara de verksamma processerna i chefshandledning. Ytterligare ett syfte var att ge en deskriptiv bild av chefshandledning och dess upplevda effekter. I studien deltog 70 chefer och 13 handledare i privat eller offentlig sektor. Studien var en tvärsnittsstudie med data insamlat via två enkäter.

Studien undersöker sambandet mellan skolans resurser och elevresultaten i engelska år nio i en medelstor stad i Mellansverige. Syftet är att genom enkätundersökningar och intervjuer studera vilken inverkan skolans resurser har på elevernas studieresultat i engelska. Studien utfördes genom intervjuer med rektorer på ett antal skolor, samt genom analyser av resultatstatistik från Skolverket.Resultaten som presenteras visar att det går att se ett samband mellan elevernas resultat och skolornas resurser såsom tid, gruppstorlek och organisation. Vidare framgår att verksamheten i engelskundervisning varierar stort och att kontinuiteten överlag är dålig.  .

Syftet med detta arbete är att förbättra ett verktyg för strängsprutning (extrudering). Arbetet består av tre faser (konstruktion, tillverkning och statistiska analyser). Omkonstruktionen sker med hänsyn till en del områden som har potential för optimering. Man börjar med en förstudie för att lära sig mer om verktyget och produktionscykeln och för att få en bättre helhetsbild. Innan arbetets start fastläggs en del avgränsningar, så att studenterna får en ram att jobba inom.

To separate yourself from the masses has become more important, the question is; what strategy should the IT-salesman use? The meaning of this scientific study is to find and focus on witch the primary factors/aspects are, that controls and is the very foundation for the consumer making a purchase, by using the internet.

The present study sought to examine the collaborative role of the student organization Here 4 U and the impact of this collaboration on the organization and its partners. As a point of departure a questionnaire was distributed to supervisors, principals and other cooperation partners of Here 4 U, the most prominent quantitative results of which were related to previous research, new institutional theory and empowerment theory. It turned out that partners interacting with Here 4 U felt that the collaboration was necessary and wanted to continue with it. The respondents to the questionnaire were asked to define the concept of collaboration. Factors emphasized by respondents included feeling of community, security, and common goals.

This thesis has examined a co-operation called SSP, between the social authorities, the school and the police, located in Malmö. The intention with SSP is to prevent crime and drug use among juveniles but also to evolve a structure for a long-term co-operation between the authorities.The purpose of the thesis was to understand and analyse what the co- operation represented and stood for. The study also examined how the co- operation was effected by differences in the organisation of the three parts.The main questions were the following; what does SSP contain, is SSP preventive and for whom, what motivates the co-operation and how is the cooperation effected by the view the authorities have on the target group?The method used for answering the questions was based on qualitative interviews with the three authorities involved. We have also searched for literature on the subjects involved.The main content of the thesis has showed that the limits of SSP are diffuse, and the focus of the co- operation lies at a structural level.

ECG-Screening for young elite athletesAbstractBackgroundSudden cardiac death (SCD) during physical activity is a frightening and emotional tragedy that draws huge media attentions when it occurs. Fortunately it is a relatively uncommon occurrence but happens nonetheless to young athletes who often seems to be in perfect health. SCD is used as a term for sudden unexpected complications on the cardiovascular system that leads to a deadly outcome normally within the first hour of onset of symptoms and the cause is some sort of underlying cardiovascular disease that gets triggered by physical activity.Normally athletes gets divided into two groups dependent on age, over and under 35 years, and this studies focus is on the younger group since it is often during this period athletes are at the elite level. It is also in this category the most unexpected sudden deaths occur that is not due to coronary atherosclerosis, which is the dominant cause of death, and drastically increases, for people over 35 years old.AimThe aim of this study was to scientific and unbiased analyze peer-reviewed clinical articles todescribe the pros, cons and cost to implement an ECG-screening as a standard before physicalactivities for specifically defined elite athletes.MethodA systematic review was performed and after all data collection 21 articles was chosen to beused as a base for both background and analyze. At the end 10 articles was fulfilling the criteria to be used at the analyze and later the results.ResultsThe implementation of ECG-screening has reduced SCD in Italy by 89 % between the years 1979-2004.

This study shows the thoughts, hopes and wishes of two male and two female music teachers, in grades 6 ? 9 from four different cities of Sweden. The emphasis lays on usage of digital tools. As the schools now stand before lots of changes in its curriculums; the use of digital tools was the main thing that caught my interest. How has the schools interpreted what this means? What does this mean in terms of purchases for the schools? We already know that many schools are lacking proper facilities to conduct music lessons so this ads on even larger needs.

In the society of information that we live in the knowledge of computers and computer system will have a greater influence than we may think. Discrimination is no longer exclusively a term that indicates lesser understanding of different cultures, the discrimina-tion that is at hand will be between ?the have and the have-nots?.This study is about the strategic methods and considerations that is of importance for planning, organizing and finally implement the work with national computer based patient documentation. The strategic planning has been done over a period of time where different actors all had their share of influence. The cost seems to be endless since it has increased after the actual program, in this case, Cosmic from Cambio Healthcare, entered the scene of healthcare.

Lot?s of reasons are showing that outdoor life has a positive influence on the general publics health and studies are confirming this theory. On the other hand there are a few amount of Swedish science project?s regarding outdoor life. The aim of this study was to examine how people feel that their health influences by outdoor life.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera om en värdekedjetransformering som innebär att produktionen tidigareläggs medför att lönsamheten i företagsrestaurangbranschen förbättras. Vi vill dessutom diskutera de valda strategiteoriernas användbarhet för att genomföra en branschanalys. Metod: Vi använder i denna uppsats en kvalitativ metod där vi genomfört tio stycken semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer med respondenter vi funnit genom ett experturval. Ansatsen är deduktiv med vissa induktiva inslag och syftet är deskriptivt. Teoretiskt perspektiv: I branschanalysen använder vi tre strategiteorier; Five forces, Strategic Cost Management och SWOT ? analys.

I denna uppsats presenteras och diskuteras Virginia Woolfs förstavågs- feminism genom en analys av The Voyage Out, Mrs Dalloway och A Room of One's Own. Analysen sker genom en närläsning av texterna, men även tidigare gjorda analyser används. Woolfs texter sätts här i relation till det tidiga 1900-talets patriarkala engelska samhälle, suffragettrörelsen men även Woolfs litterära- och yrkesmässiga liv är av betydelse. Resultatet blir en kvalitativ läsning där fokus ligger på tidig feminism och Woolfs kamp för kvinnans rätt till ett självständigt liv..

Denna studie beskriver några förstelärares uppfattning om särskilt stöd ut ett inkluderande perspektiv. Främst har jag valt att analysera hur lärarna beskriver elever i behov av särskilt stöd och hur deras beskrivningar kan relateras till olika teoretiska perspektiv på specialpedagogik. Jag har också studerat hur lärarna fördelar ansvaret för elevens lärarande och vilka möjligheter och hinder för en inkluderande undervisning som kan utläsas i lärarnas tal.  Jag har använt en kvalitativ metod med anknytning till socialkonstruktionism och diskursanalys.I mina analyser har jag utgått från teoretiska perspektiv på specialpedagogik som utarbetats av Skidmore (2004). Jag kan konstatera att lärarna beskriver elever i behov av särskilt stöd utifrån olika perspektiv: det psyko- medicinska, det sociala och det organisatoriska.

In this study environmental work in the Swedish hotel chain "Scandic" is investigated. Earlier studies point out sustainability and different environmental certificate programs as essential for the housing sector to contribute to sustainable tourism. The purpose and willingness to fulfill such a mission has been investigated by interviewing central actors in the hotel chain. The result shows that there is a desire to be part of environmental certificate programs mainly for the reason to be part of the system and not for the benefit of nature. Sustainable development is understood as being environmentally friendly. Different solutions to adapt and being more environmentally friendly is discussed.
