The purpose of this paper is to present and analyze the yearly expenses for Swedish rental apartments during the period 1999 to 2007. At the end, it will give the reader a general picture of how the cost-level has fluctuated depending on the production year when the apartment building was finished, and where the same building is located. This paper has the following questions as a starting point:- Can there be an identification of regions depending on where people tend to favor renting an apartment?- How are those regions distributed? That is, where are the cost-levels of the yearly rental expenses highest and where are the levels lowest?Nine statistical surveys from the Swedish government agency Statistics Sweden (Statistiska Centralbyrån) have been used as primary sources for this paper. These surveys deal with price pictures of housing in general, but for this paper the only information that has been used is the one about rental apartments.

Syfte:Författarna ämnar beskriva hur teknisk analys fungerar medutgångspunkt i hur stort marknadsvärde ett bolag har. Ettdelsyfte är att bidra till den praktiska och teoretiskakännedomen om teknisk analys. Metod:För att uppfylla vårt syfte använder vi oss av en kvantitativmetod med en deduktiv ansats. Vi undersöker totalt 30bolag från OMX nordiska lista under en tioårsperiod (1997-2006), bolagen indelas i grupper baserade påmarknadsvärde och den tekniska analysen representeras avGlidande medelvärde, RSI och Stochastic. Resultat:Det kan statistiskt säkerställas att teknisk analys, i form avGlidande Medelvärde, fungerar bäst på Small-Cap bolagen,genom att resultera i högre avkastning än Buy & Holdstrategin.

Energifrågor och energieffektivisering blir alltmer uppmärksammat i dagens samhälle. Kostnadssituationen för energi är idag helt annorlunda mot vad den var för 30 år sen, priset är numera mycket högre. Speciellt påverkar detta gamla sjukhus där det är installationstätt och det finns aktivitet som pågår i stort sett dygnet runt. Här finns det helt klart en hel del pengar att spara in, frågan är bara var och hur? Detta examensarbete innehåller en energikartläggning av kirurgibyggnaden på Universitetssjukhuset i Malmö, i rapporten ofta benämnd som byggnad 33, samt även en fördjupning kring området ventilation avsedd för operationssalar. Rapporten redovisar inledningsvis en energibalans av byggnaden som har åstadkommits med hjälp av simuleringsprogram, uppmätta värden och beräkningar.

Då producerande företag ska göra genomgripande verksamhetsförändringar såsom implementera produktionssystemet lean, kan det vara svårt att på förhand veta förändringarnas effekter.  Lean innebär att ledtider kortas men nya arbetssätt och verktyg bidrar till att kostnaderna initialt ofta ökar i förändringsarbete, vilket kan utmynna i en skepticism mot det nya systemet hos de anställda. Med hjälp av verktyg som mäter effekterna av förändringarna skulle denna skepticism kunna mötas. För att erhålla ett helhetsperspektiv ses produktion helst ur ett flödesperspektiv och idag finns inget bra verktyg som analyserar produktionsflöden ur både ledtids- och kostnadsperspektiv. Därför syftar detta arbete till att ta fram en modell för beräkning av ledtider och kostnader i ett produktionsflöde på ett sätt som möjliggör förståelse från flera olika intressentgrupper. Detta uppnås dels genom att den som använder modellen (1) erhåller en övergripande förståelse för flödets uppbyggnad och allokalisering av dess ledtider och kostnader samt (2) kan använda modellen för att analysera olika framtida scenarier vilka ligger till grund för förändringsarbetet.

The aim of this paper is to examine how the design of management control in a retail trade company affects motivation among its employees. Our purpose is to identify what actions create motivation and how management can benefit by developing and promoting such activity from its high-performing employees. Motivated personnel have become increasingly important in companies today, and companies are increasingly reliant on individual employees? capabilities. The study covers all parts of the management control system, to see how these align to create goal congruence in an organizational context.

Det här examensarbetet handlar om processorienterad skrivundervisning och om analys av elevtexter. Arbetet består dels av ett försök med processkrivning som undervisningsmetod i år sju men även av en analys av det textmaterial som undervisningen genererade. Den huvudsakliga forskningsmetoden som använts utgörs av analyser av elevernas texter. Undersökningsmaterialet består av en komparativ textanalys av tio elevers texter i två versioner (I och II). Syftet är att studera hur elevernas texter förändrats under arbetets gång och vilka eventuella samband som textförändringarna kan tänkas ha med undervisningen.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain one aspect of how and why the development in the third world is lagging behind. The precondition is that development through an agricultural revolution is necessary and that all countries benefit from trading. But these two conditions are not met today. By using the urban-bias and the world system theory I have analysed how the situation appears to be according to the precondition. It appears that both the urban-bias and the world system theory are essential to understand how and why the situation in third world still has not reached the same development phase as most other countries.

This study focuses on a reconstruction proposal of a small part of a rural churchyard that has lost a big part of its history, in form of its conformation and plant material. The chosen part of the cemetery was established in 1938, and this proposal is an interpretation of the architect?s original plan, the workers wishes and my own observations and experiences of the place. In this proposal I have tried to balance the plants composition to create an environment that can benefit the biological diversity, that fits the locations habitat and today?s maintenance.

Föreliggande uppsats är en analys av Norrköpings kommuns, och till viss del regionen Östergötlands, strategier och åtgärder för minskat växtnäringsläckage från jordbruksektorn. Jag använder mig av en modifierad SWOT-analys (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), för att ur ett kommunalt sammanhang ta fram styrkor och svagheter inom den kommunala organisationen och möjligheter och hot för densamma i en regional kontext. Analysen har belysts ur ett tvärvetenskapligt perspektiv i syfte att öka förståelsen för arbetet kring det nationella miljömålet"Ingen Övergödning"och de problem, implicit såväl som explicit, som kan dyka upp när naturvetenskap och samhällsvetenskap skall samordnas. Då en icke tvärvetenskaplig analys kan ha svårigheter att hantera de faktorer som inte kan eller innebär svårigheter att kvantifieras har denna tvärvetenskapliga analys stora möjligheter att hantera en sådan situation. Resultatet indikerar på att ett långsiktigt perspektiv måste antas och att detta kräver att den kommunala samordningen mellan rollerna som myndighet, verksamhetsutövare och organisation ökar.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the most common economic effects of countries pursuing trade facilitation. Trade flows are constrained by non-tariff barriers and through trade facilitation these barriers can be decreased. We will study the effects of trade facilitation from a theoretical perspective and evaluate a number of empirical studies. Several different trade barriers will be identified as well as those regions and countries that will gain the most from trade facilitation. We draw the conclusion thatlarge gains would prevail for all countries and that the consumers, businesses and the state all benefit from trade facilitation.

The purpose of this essay was to compare the Swedish and the Japanese pension system and see if there were any big differences or similarities. I was looking for answers to such questions as if the systems were modelled with the problematic demographic situation in mind and also how these two countries had tried to manage the problems. Path dependency was also a central conception when I studied the reforms of the two pension systems. I mainly used literature and Internet sources in my study. There were many books on the Swedish pension system and the debates that had been going on since the 80's.

Intranets can streamline workflow processes, improve communication and add value to the employees of an organization. Companies that don?t take advantage of the potential in their intranet is a common phenomenon. In connection with a migration project dealing with a switch of content management system it turned out that SAS Technical Services lacked clear objectives and strategies for the use of their intranet. Thereby they didn?t make the most of the possibilities an intranet brings.The work with this thesis began with collecting the experiences the company could take with them from the migration project.

In an attempt to prevent ground damage and to reduce harvesting costs, StoraEnso's districts Värmbodal and Fryken, selected a number of final felling areas where the base roads have been marked by planners in the districts. The parties involved in the experiment are mainly planners, harvester operators and forwarder operators. The purpose of this paper is to determine the findings of this trial and to find cost savings or lost revenue. This has been done with a sample of interviews from the involved parties who logged the chosen felling areas. Literature about the interview process has been used to facilitate data collection, interpretation and analysis of the material. If we look at profitability based on assumed income and expenditure, revenue per MWh would be 63 SEK.

Most people have been forced to throw away a pot-plant after its death. There are many reasons to the death of a plant, but mainly it?s because its owner forgets it, and therefore fails to water it. The purpose of this project is therefore to develop a product which can prevent this from happening, while the product has to have a low manufacturing cost to be able to compete whit other, similar, products on the market. During the project, a benchmarking has been done to give a clear picture of what the product has to compete with. The directives there are for CE-marking, and which of these who concerns the product has also been looked up.

Our study is focused on how the public sector can collaborate with the private sector on a certain issue. The public sector wanted to create a project to increase bicycling in the municipality of Kalmar. Our problem was to develop a sustainable way to collaborate between the two parties. We managed to present a suggestion on how the public sector with communication could improve their Public Relations with the private sector and therefore letting the parties benefit from their differences, thus making it possible to release synergy.Using semi-structured interviews and a workshop, we could clarify the values and attitudes of the parties to bring forth the core values to develop a shared vision. Where the identified differences were found, we used a dialog strategy based on intercultural conflict management as a communication tool.
