This paper's purpose is to examine the mandate and the role of the UN as an administrative actor. Today, we often see post-conflict territories in the need of governance. In the absence of local supported government the UN has the ability to fill that void. The paper will look at two actual examples where the UN has assumed the role as administrator; West Papua and East Timor. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is becoming a more common diagnosis of younger children. In recent years the perception that some ingredients in our food may have a negative effect regarding the symptoms in children with ADHD has grown stronger. Children with ADHD often suffer from irritated bowel syndromes which affect their ability to digest food. This may result in malnutrition as well as a release of substances that are harmful.The purpose of this report is to compile and illustrate the knowledge of how special food, particular milk protein and gluten, may affect the symptoms of children with ADHD. Also, the report aims to evaluate if there should be changes made in Kindergarten to increase the well-being of these children.

I och med att begreppet har vuxit har fler och fler företag börjat använda sig utav CSR och börjat integrera det sin verksamhet.Bankerna ser sig själva idag som stora aktörer i samhällets påverkan att sträva framåt. Därför tar man sig an det samhällsansvar som man förväntas att ta av samhällets medborgare för att bankerna ska anses som goda bankaktörer. The theme in this report has been how to benefit experience from accident investigations. The demand on the municipality to perform accidet investigations is relatively new, and maybe they aren?t clear what the demands means. This causes that there might be a problem to benefit experience from accident investigations, for improving the overall safety in the municipality. The main purpose of this report has been to clarify how experience from accident investigations, can be of benefit to society on a local level.

This report will point out the income for a scania plant production farm, this has been estimated through a case study. The outcome of this report will later be used to calculate a reasonable leasehold charge. This case study is solitary based upon this particular studied farm, at this very point, and can therefore not be used as a general guide. The reason why this particular scania plant production farm has been selected, is because the author is born and raised at the farm and has the intention to run the farm in the future. The chosen farm for this report is based in the southwest of scania and cover 300 hectare of plant production. The crop rotation consists of autumn wheat, sugar beats, spring wheat, spring barely, winter rape and fallow. The farm owns all machinery required.

To conclude this year?s introductory course in Mechatronics the students, in groups of 6,constructed a prototype based on the technical requirements established by the course teachers.This year they consisted of the following: two wheels only, active balancing, remote controlledand able to stop when crossing a pre-determined marker on the ground. The project lasted for 7weeks and the result is a working prototype and this report.The report reviews the chosen solution, subsystems and the finished prototype as well assuggestions for improvements, discussion and analysis.The prototype constructed embodied most of the group?s earlier individual technical specialtiesand consists of the following: a flywheel for balancing, ultrasound for angle measurement, areflective photomicrosensor to detect the marker and Bluetooth for the hand control..

Denna kandidatuppsats har i syfte att undersöka huruvida det går att identifiera avvikande aktieavkastning hos företag vilka erhåller ett förändrat betyg i Folksams Klimatindex mellan åren 2004 och 2005. Identifieras avvikande avkastning undersöks marknadens värdering av förbättrade respektive försämrade betyg. Signifikant avvikande avkastning identifierats i aktier hos företag som erhåller ett förändrat betyg i Folksams Klimatindex. Resultatet från eventstudien påvisar att betygsförändringar, oavsett karaktär, värderas negativt av marknaden. Att marknaden skulle värdera informationen om förbättrade respektive försämrade betyg på samma sätt strider mot teorin om Corporate Social Responsibility.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the view on reading and reading promotion in the Culture of Reading (SOU 2012:65), based on three different approaches to reading and reading promotion; the pragmatic, the emancipatory and the traditionalistic. The thesis is based on the following questions; which view on reading can be seen in the Culture of Reading and which view on librarians? reading promotion can be seen in the Culture of Reading. To answer these questions, I am going to apply the aforementioned approaches on the Culture of Reading. The Culture of Reading is an official report from the Swedish government and parts of it will be subject to a qualitative content analysis.

This report gives an overview of applications of the Greenroads rating system whichin turn is an environmental review system for roads. The focus of this report isapplications during the construction phase, ie on solutions which adhere to theentrepreneur's area of responsibility as opposed to the designer's. The study was undertaken in cooperation with Skanska (a global contractor andFortune 500 company) which provided a project suitable for an exemplatory study ofGreenroads. Please note that the project in particular was not specifically designedwith Greenroads in mind. Therefore and because of that the site provided anexcellent opportunity to study effects of application contra non-application. The approach of this study was to first review the system, thereafter to performinterviews with key personel at the site in different roles as to receive different viewsof selected points of application. Selected possibilities of application are cathegorizedand presented with comments and suggestions for adoption. Lastly Greenroads is briefly compared to the rating system which today is the mostwidely used by Skanska, LEED.

The goal with this project, was to explore the producing of a musicvideo with a synergistic focus in a practical way. Beside the practical work with the recording and editing of music and video, I wanted to explore the sound engineers role in such a project? To my help I had the video producer Hannes Knutsson from the small film- collective Lefvande Bilder and the singer, guitarist and songwriter Conny Flink. The result of my work is a musicvideo published on the internet website YouTube and the report of the making of it along with my work around the question above is published in this report. The name of the recorded and filmed song, written and performed by Conny Flink is ?My Way?. .

In autumn 2010, the Division of Civil Engineering at the Swedish building contractorPEAB made a campaign to increase the number of reported incidents. Informationwas sent to the branch manager who was responsible to enlighten the employees onthe establishment. The goal of PEAB Division of Civil Engineering is to have at least 10reported incidents per accident that generate more than 8 hours absence. Therefore,it is important that the employees understand how the report system for incidentsworks. The number of reported incidents differs between regions.

Sudoku solvers are a widely researched topic among mathematicians and computer scientists. This report investigates the differences in execution time and time complexity between backtracking and human strategies for classes with 17-21 clues. Backtracking is compared to our implementation of human strategies with test data that contains 99 Sudoku puzzles for each class. The study shows that the execution time and time complexity is improved for human strategies compared to backtracking for each class. The conclusion shows that it is always favorable to implement the human strategies investigated in the report. .

On the 1st of November 2010, the statutory audit was abolished for small limited companies. The amendment of the abolished statutory audit includes smaller private limited companies that for two years does not exceed more than one of the two following limits: net revenue of three million kronor, total assets of one and one half million kronor and three employees. The principal rule of chapter 9 section 1 Companies Act remains that a limited company should have at least one auditor. Mot bakgrund av globaliseringen satsar numera allt fler städer på att marknadsföra sig som attraktiva för att kunna konkurrera om det internationellt rörliga kapitalet. Problematiken i detta sammanhang är att särskilda handlingsinriktade strategier har blivit dominerande i det planpolitiska arbetet, vilket således får konsekvenser för stadens utformning och stadsbild.Den kommunikativa planeringen förespråkar samverkan och dialog mellan alla berörda parter i syfte att skapa konsensus och en samsyn i stadsbyggnadsfrågor. Men beroende på vilka ide?er som inkluderas respektive exkluderas från diskursen påverkas därmed vår uppfattning och förståelse av stadens attraktivitet.
