Denna studie är ett fall av organisationers användande av cause-related marketing. Syftet är att beskriva utvalda organisationers strategier med och användande av specifika cause-related marketing-aktiviteter.Organisationers vilja att bygga relationer med intressenter ökar ständigt och det blir allt mer populärt bland organisationer att ta ett socialt ansvar i hopp om att förbättra denna relation. Att organisationer säljer produkter och donerar en summa till välgörenhet benämns cause-related marketing och är ett vanligt välgörenhetsinitiativ vilket ofta upplevs positivt. Dock finns en skepticism mot organisationers användande av detta verktyg då intressenter i vissa fall ifrågasätter organisationers bakomliggande motiv. Detta innebär att utformningen av varje specifik cause-related marketing-aktivitet är avgörande för dess framgång.För att besvara syftet med denna studie har samtalsintervjuer och en kvalitativ innehållsanalys använts.

Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, är idén om att företag ska ta samhällsansvar. Sambandet mellan CSR och företags eventuella lönsamhet är omdiskuterat. Många anser att CSR är nödvändigt för företag som vill vara kvar på en föränderlig marknad där konsumenter ställer andra krav på företag än att de enbart ska erbjuda produkter. Företag satsar mycket på CSR och vi vill anta att det tagits strategiska beslut bakom dessa investeringar. Strategier bör innehålla företagens mål för CSR-arbetet.

The Swedish industrial society has left several areas with contaminated soil and water which today is of danger for the environment and human health. One of these areas with contaminated soil and water is the region where the former Glava glassworks operated during 1859 to 1939. The main object in this study has been to study the responsibility for the contaminations according to the Environmental Code. The method used is a qualitative content analysis of relevant literature to answer the following questions:What types of contaminations can be found in the area of Glava glasswork and what health issues can these cause?What kind of activity has been conducted in the area that have caused the contaminations in soil and water?According to law, what are the responsibilities for the contaminations in soil and water at Glava glassworks?The contamination in the region has been confirmed to originate from the glasswork due to the environmental engineering survey made in the area in 2009.

Purpose: The study aims to analyze how companies can learn from past communications in critical situations and during corporate crisis, and see how they use this knowledge in the management of subsequent critical situations and corporate crisis. Furthermore, the media is analyzed to see how the newspaper industry chooses to reflect an organization and its actions, and also to see if the pressure through articles in the newspapers has an impact on the extent of the situation.Method: A qualitative case study of Sweden?s largest food company, ICA Sverige AB, where knowledgeable people in media management within the company are interviewed using semi-structured interviews, with support of quantitative methods by a collection of articles from the news press.Theories: Concepts, theories and models in crisis management and communication has been applied to relevant data. These comprise Knowledge Management, a communication template in crisis management, The Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and the model Content of crisis communication.Empiric: Based on the quantitative data consisting of articles from four Swedish news sources: Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet and Expressen, a semi-structured interview guide was created and carried out with the person within ICA who possesses knowledge of the subject area.Conclusion: ICA has during the priod studied exhibited to have used the concept of Knowledge Management in the development of their routines regarding product recalls at product defects. The relationships between ICA and the media have shown improvements, which has resulted in ICA percieve the media coverage as balanced, true and fair..

Patients with mental illness experience dissatisfaction with their care due to lack of understanding and ignorance from the nurses. The nurses? approach might influence these patients' experience of their care. The purpose of the literature review was to describe nurses' approach in care of patients with mental illness. The literature review is based on an inductive approach and the result is based on 14 scientific papers, of which eight used a qualitative design and sex used a quantitative design.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera den företagsinterna implementeringsprocessen rörande Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning i några företag, diskutera inställningen till Koden och dess självregleringsprincip, samt söka samband mellan dessa beståndsdelar och hur väl företagen följer bestämmelserna.Metod: Vår kvalitativa undersökning baseras på en tidigare utförd kvantitativ studie, varefter vi har använt oss av fallstudier.Teoretiska perspektiv: Den teoretiska referensramen innefattar corporate governance, agentteorin, intressentteorin samt olika organisatoriska förändringsteorier, vilka samtliga kopplas till Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning. Empiri: Det empiriska materialet är en sammanställning av telefonintervjuer med sakkunniga respondenter med varierade befattningar på sex noterade bolag, vilka har varit involverade i den företagsinterna implementeringen av Koden.Slutsatser: Det finns varierande sätt att implementera Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning inom ett företag, men våra fallföretag har visat sig använda snarlika metoder. There are three main purposes for this thesis; the first is to distinguish the possible violations that can occur in time of natural disasters. The second is to analyze if there is a correlation between political systems and how the effected country handles the aftermath of a natural disaster. The third purpose is to determine the role of the global community and what responsibility lies with them. The issue is often that the aid becomes the main object for discussion and analysis, but the focus rarely shifts to the effected State. Therefore the focus in this essay is the political system and how they cope with the human rights violations that can occur in a time of natural disaster.

So- called ?Network Based Defense? (NBD) was introduced in Sweden in connection with the transformation of the Swedish Armed Forces in 1999. NBD is based on the U.S. variant Network Centric Warfare (NCW), which in turn is derived from research on the concept of Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA). In Sweden the concept was introduced and included not only the Armed Forces but was intended to also support the Swedish civilian agencies in order to create networks and hence share the available information and thus more effective crisis management and to provide more "bang for the buck." The intent of this essay is to investigate how three pre-school managers in the municipal preschool in Uppsala describe child poverty, how they see the preschool?s social responsibility and how they manage child poverty in their practical operation. In association to this discussion there is a tendency to speak about an increased individualization, a process that often also means more choices and possibilities. But in addition to this follows a big responsibility for how we choose to live our lives, since our choices not seldom also influences other people, both locally and globally. The aim of this essay is to investigate the importance of non-profit organizations with social direction in our Swedish welfare society and thereby also in a modern world where people's individual choices are becoming all more important. In order to answer my main issue I have implemented thirteen qualitative interviews, of which ten of the informers are from different non-profit organizations and three from different stately authorities.

This article discusses desirable political representation within the framework of representative democracy. In the desirable representation it is the responsibility of the politician to balance authoritative decision making with responsiveness towards the voters. The article intends to make visible the ethical complexity within representative democracy. Ethically the commission to represent is further complicated because the political parties constitute a central role in the political life and request loyalty of the politician. At the same time the politician is elected by the voters and thus the representative has to balance the dual representation.The politician can meet supplementary but also contradictory norms of action in decision taking.
