Akutvårdspersonal utsätts allt mera för svårare katastrofer och olyckor. Vilket leder till en ökad press på personalen. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur akutvårdspersonalen bearbetar traumatiska händelser för att inte utveckla post-traumatiskt stress syndrom. Metoden var en litteraturstudie. Artiklarna analyserades med Lundman och Graneheims (2008) kvalitativa innehållsanalys.18 artiklar analyserades.

Work, especially that in complex, dynamic workplaces, often requires subtle, local judgment with regard to timing of subtasks, relevance, importance, prioritization and so forth. Still, people in Nuclear Industry seem to think safety results from people just following procedures. In the wake of failure it can be tempting to introduce new procedures and an even stricter "rule following culture". None, or at least very little, attention is given to tacit knowledge and individual skills. I am aiming to highlight the inadequacy of putting too much trust in formalization and that reporting and trending of events will contribute to increased learning, an increased nuclear safety and an efficient operational experience.

The results from 13 interviews and one opinion poll answered by resident physicians were interpreted as stories about identity as primary material for this thesis. The resident physicians stress the importance of considering whether their work primarily concerns curing people from diseases or if the process of working with sick people also includes how to handle the pressure of work, either by adapting to it or changing it, and the search for balance between work and private life. Residents separate themselves from older physicians by saying that younger physicians accentuate empathy to a greater extent while older physicians emphasise a high work load. This essay shows how teachers adjust the literature studies in the mother tongue subject to their different classes in upper secondary school.The study is based on interviews with two teachers and an analysis of two different school-books. The conclusion is that the subject of literary education in the vocational programs is a pragmatic subject with focus on the pupils? needs and skills, and the subject in the theoretical programs has more focus on mediation of a literary heritage..

 Forskning tyder på en ökad brist på välbefinnande bland tjejer. Trots denna ökning mår de flesta tjejer bra. Olika faktorer påverkar tjejernas välbefinnande på diverse sätt. Syftet med föreliggande undersökning var att få en djupare förståelse för hur tjejer ser på sitt eget välbefinnande och vilka faktorer de upplever som viktiga för denna upplevelse. En kvalitativ undersökning med deduktiv ansats genomfördes med 8 tjejer som gick sista året på gymnasiet.

Aim Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire 2007 (DCDQ'07) is an international survey tool based on parents' estimation of their child's motor coordination skills. The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of a Swedish version of DCDQ'07 by finding out how the classification of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) via DCDQ'07 is consistent with the classification of DCD via the motor impairment test, Movement ABC.MethodIn the context of a larger study, a Swedish translated version of the parent survey DCDQ'07 were sent to 4000 randomly selected families with children aged 8 - 10 years in Stockholm County. The classifications "DCD" or "NOT DCD" with cut-off values ??of 56 (9 years) and 57 (10 years) were applied. Forty families were selected from 410 registered responses.

This project has been about making a design suggestion for a boat accessory that adjuststhe distance between a sail-or motorboat and the dinghy, which is connected by a rope inthe stern. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur fäder som sitter frihetsberövade upplever sitt faderskap. För att förstå detta har vi använt oss av fyra frågeställningar.1. Hur beskriver männen faderskap och hur upplever de sitt eget faderskap? 2. Vilka känslor, kring faderskapet och kontakten med barnen under anstaltsvistelsen, beskrivs? 3. Vilka strategier använder fäderna för att hantera känslor som är relaterade till barnet?4. Vilka möjligheter anser fäderna att sig ha att utöva föräldraskap under tid på anstalt?Denna uppsats är skriven ur fädernas perspektiv och inte barnens. Efter att genomfört åtta halvstrukturerade intervjuer på en anstalt, analyserade vi vårt resultat med hjälp av teorierna; coping, KASAM, socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv på faderskap och teorier som förklarar reaktioner i samband med skam.När vi sammanställde vårt resultat kunde vi se en tydlig bild av moderna fäder som önskade att få närvara mer i sina barns vardag. De berättade alla vilka svårigheter som fanns att under anstaltstid kunna utöva ett önskvärt faderskap.

Previous research in the area of leadership and stress has shown that the leader plays an important role but in what way is still an issue to explore. A qualitative approach was used in this study to develop an increased understanding of the leader's experience of stress using four themes; leadership, stress, control and organizational factors. A total of 12 semi-structured and un-structured interviews were carried out with 6 leaders, three females and three males. The data was transcribed and thematic as well as narrative analysis was conducted.The results indicates that leadership stress is caused by a lack of control and that factors intrinsic to the role as a leader both facilitates and complicates the leaders situation when facing stress..

This master's thesis is about alternative career opportunities for library and information science graduates. Ever since the beginning of our education we have been interested in working outside of the traditional libraries. Now that we are about to receive our degrees in library and information science we are doubtful if the competence we have obtained is enough to meet the demands of the labour market. The employment field we have been studying in this master's thesis is information management, since this is a field that we find comparable to library and information science. Our study involves a qualitative survey amongst recruiting companies to investigate how the recruiters value different educations, competences and personal skills when they employ staff within the field of information management.

Syfte och frågeställningar:Syftet med studien är att utifrån ett könsperspektiv undersöka stress hos elever. Detta ville vi ta reda på genom att besvara följande frågeställningar: Vad är stress för elever, upplever de stress i skolan, hur hanterar de stress samt hur vanligt är psykosomatiska symptom hos elever?Metod:Undersökningen är en studie som utförts med hjälp av enkäter med både fasta och öppna svarsalternativ. Enkätundersökningen genomfördes på två gymnasieskolor på det Samhällsvetenskapliga programmet år 3 där 103 elever ingick i urvalsgruppen. Fördelningen mellan flickorna och pojkarna var 71 respektive 32.

Humor har visat sig ha många positiva effekter för individers hälsa och kan även ge positiv utdelning i arbetet. Den har nämligen visat sig bidra till ökad produktivitet och kreativitet i arbetslivet, därför kan man anta att det från företagens sida kan finnas ett intresse av att undersöka humor i arbetet närmare då det kan ge bättre utdelning från de anställda. Tidigare forskning om humor i arbetslivet riktar sig främst till anställda inom olika serviceyrken samt vård- och omsorg. Av den här anledningen beslutade vi oss för att göra en kvalitativ studie på en arbetsplats inom offentlig sektor och undersöka mer om hur individer upplever och eventuellt använder sig av humor på arbetet. Vår förhoppning är att det kan bli ytterligare ett forskningsbidrag till hur organisationer och HR-avdelningar bör förhålla sig till humor eftersom den kan bidra till mer glada och produktiva anställda.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka sambandet mellan perfektionism och psykologiska färdigheter hos fotbollspelare. Studien utfördes på 207 fotbollsspelande gymnasieelever som alla gick någon form av fotbollslinje på respektive skola. Informanterna fick fylla i två stycken frågeformulär, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale som mäter perfektionism och Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool-3 som mäter idrottspsykologiska färdigheter. Resultatet analyserades med hjälp av statistikprogrammet PASW där korrelationer (Pearson) mellan sex dimensioner av perfektionism och tolv psykologiska färdigheter genomfördes. Resultatet visade att det fanns flera signifikanta samband mellan de sex dimensionerna inom perfektionism och de tolv psykologiska färdigheterna. .

The purpose of this study is to examine discursive change regarding mathematics and language in the Swedish primary school curriculums. The study analyzes pedagogical discourses represented within the curriculums and how they represent different pedagogical theories in relation to discursive and social practice. The analysis shows a change towards a more language oriented curriculum discourse in mathematics which still carries an intertextual and discursive heritage from the prior curriculums. In relation to the early curriculums of the Swedish primary schools the former explicit differentiation of students becomes implicit as the language skills become of increasingly importance..

The objective of this project is to study how two asperger units, one at a junior school and one at a senior-level school are carrying at their work. I have interviewed one pedagouge at each unit to find out how they organize the education at the units and how they work to develop the students' social skills based on the students' functional handicap. The interviews showed that the following factors are providing the foundation for the pedagouges' work with the students: knowledge of the Asperger syndrome and the symptoms shown by each individual, the pedagouges being explicit and well structured as a professional and as adult combined with him/her being humble and showing respect towards the students and self reflection.Keywords: Asperger syndrome, functional handicap, social interaction, attitude..
