Det finns tidigare studier som visat att sexuallivet påverkats efter förvärvade hjärnskador. I denna studie avsågs att lyfta personernas individuella perspektiv. Intervjustudien omfattar nio personer som förvärvat en hjärnskada för mer än ett år sedan, och som deltagit i hjärnskaderehabilitering vid Skånes universitetssjukhus. Åldern på deltagarna varierade mellan 25 och 64 år, och ålder vid skadetillfälle eller insjuknande var 16-55 år. Frågeställningar i uppsatsen var huruvida personerna i studien upplevt förändringar i sexuallivet efter att ha förvärvat en hjärnskada, och hur personerna hanterat detta, samt om det förekom skillnader i mäns och kvinnors upplevelse.

Studien har undersökt effekter av deltagande i ett mindfulnessprogram på stressrelaterade sjukdomar som depression, ångest och fysisk ohälsa, för att utröna om programmet har varit ett effektivt verktyg för individer med stressproblematik. Studien som var av longitudinell karaktär baserades på självrapporterade uppgifter om ångest, depression, psykisk ohälsa, stresshantering och grad av mindfulness (BDI-II, BAI, KIMS, CRI och SCI), samt ett antal bakgrundsfrågor av social karaktär som baserades på ett icke-randomiserat sampel (n=15). Resultaten visade att efter avslutat program samt åtta månader efter hade deltagarna signifikant förbättrade värden vad gäller depression, ångest och fysisk ohälsa. Analyser visade vidare att ju högre grad av mindfulness individen uppvisade desto signifikant lägre grad av depression och fysisk ohälsa, men inte av ångest. Sammantaget tyder resultaten i denna studie på att programmet hade mycket goda effekter och det finns därför behov av fortsatt forskning kring mindfulnessprogrammets effekter vid behandling av stressrelaterade problem..

The purpose of this essay is to find out how gender upholds in a classroom, both by students as well as the teacher. The procedure has been to observe the relationship between students and also the teachers. The observations is analysed according to theories of gender and a discussion about why gender is maintained follows. The murders of Pela Atroshi, Sara Abed Ali and Fadime Sahindal, started a debate concerning the underlying motives of honour related violence. This paper aimed to describe and explain in what way honour related violence is perceived in publications by academics, public authorities and voluntary organisations to name a few. Different types of literature were thematically analysed as well as analysed using a model by Lorentzon. The scope of this paper was narrowed down to Swedish conditions and excluded men as victims of honour related crimes.The conclusion suggests a definition of honour related violence as a result of general patriarchy with different features. For example, men?s honour is connected to women?s behaviour and retaining of virginity.

Background: Most acts of violence in a psychiatric ward are directed towards the nursing staff. Aggressive behaviour often stems from feelings of frustration and powerlessness in patients while committed and therefore having limited liberties. To avoid an escalation of a hostile situation, it is important that the nursing staff applies the kind of encounter that will yield a positive outcome. Aim: The aim of this literary study is to elucidate the possible encounter the nursing staff can apply when encountering a hostile patient in psychiatric care. Method: The literary study is based on twelve scientific articles.

Background: Delirium is a common condition among elderly patients who are being treated in a hospital environment. However, a large number of patients are wrongly diagnosed. The highest risk categories to develop delirium are elderly people and postoperative patients. By understanding the patients´ experiences the nurse can formulate the care to make it easier for the patient. Aim: The aim of the literature review was to illuminate elderly patients´ experiences of delirium in connection with a hospital visit.

The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding about consumer buying behaviour when purchasing books online. In order to acquire data for the study we used a questionnaire that 75 students where asked to respond. The respondents were students at the University of Technology in Luleå. Bakgrund: Prevalensen av fetma och övervikt ökar i hela världen och i Sverige lider ca 47 % av männen och 35 % av kvinnorna av övervikt eller fetma. Risken att dö i förtid är stor och följdsjukdomarna till övervikt och fetma är många, bland annat en markant ökad risk för insulinresistens, diabetes typ 2, hjärt-kärlsjukdomar eller stroke. Syfte: Att få ökad kunskap om vad som verkar för respektive emot en livsstilsförändring hos överviktiga. Metod: Fem semistrukturerade djupintervjuer som analyserades och kategoriserades med innehållsanalys. Resultat: Informanterna berättade att deras främsta drivkraft var hälsan och ett längre liv.
