The purpose of this study is to evaluate the real aggregated consumption and empirically determine its exogenous variables. This study examines whether or not there are inherit flaws in Swedish legislation concerning psychiatric institutional care, or in the application of the act, which might lead to the failure of rule of law for the private citizen. Law (1991:1128) concerning psychiatric institutional care in certain instances (LPIC) aims to establish rules which will ensure rule of law for the mentally ill in case of psychiatric institutional care. Despite this, there are legal cases which indicate that these rules, and their implications, are not always considered at the psychiatric wards.The questions at issues which this study aims to answer are thus: Are there any deficiencies concerning rule of law in LPIC 2?3 §§, 4?6 §§, 7?10 §§,15?25 §§ and 32?33 §§ ? This section focuses on LPIC and its design. Whether or not the act adheres to rule of law is examined through a definition which has evolved through discussions of concept based in Peczeniks definition of rule of law.

The U.S. came close to hit their debt ceiling and had some severe trouble getting a federal budget in order in the fall 2013, which raised a global news echo around the world. The purpose of this study is to look at of how the Swedish newspapers framed this specific event; we wanted to find the dominated similarities and differences in the different articles as well as see if our domestic perspective appeared in the frames. In order to come to a conclusion we first read all the material published between the dates of the 2th to the 17th of October in our chosen newspapers, we then did a mapping schedule and sorted through the articles, two of our main sorting points were ?the dominating framing? and ?the dominating operator? in each and every article.

The notion of firms interacting with technology is not new; these types of systems were already in place in the mid eighties. E-business users worked with connections between their inbound logistics and procurement systems, and suppliers? order-entry systems. In this thesis I will examine Willy Brandt's new Ostpolitik with the help of Robert Putnam's analytical framework of two-level games perspective and the theory of social constructivism. Firstly, I will briefly set out the development of Germany's history before it was divided into the Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic in 1949. After that I present West Germany's foreign policy from 1949 to 1969 in order to show how Willy Brandt continued and broke with different foreign policy doctrines. Finally, I want to illustrate his new Ostpolitik and the international and domestic factors, which contributed to its realisation. The main question of this essay is: How significant were the changes of the West German society for the realisation of the new Ostpolitik from 1969 to 1973? One of the most important findings in this essay is that on the one hand that many West Germans had accepted that their country was divided and on the other hand that many groups in the society such as the significant newspaper Die Zeit and intellectuals supported the new Ostpolitik.

This study aims to investigate how federations manage to balance the economies of scale through collaboration and autonomy. This is done through a case study on Länsförsäkringar. The lack of modern research on federations makes the federative structure an interesting field of study. Previous research has shown a general perception that an increased pressure on efficiency and economies of scale creates a stronger common unit that eventually creates an imbalance in the federation. It is therefore interesting to look at the balance, which exists between the member units and the common unit of a federation.

Due to their complexity and heavy wear from rail traffic, switches are a sensitive part of the railway infrastructure and moreover expensive to maintain. Furthermore, increasing railway traffic not only accelerates the wear rate but also obstructs the necessary maintenance measures. This paper examines the opportunities for a transition to a long-term maintenance strategy in the Swedish railway network. It contains a study of the maintenance strategy of Banverket, and also analyses statistics of errors in the railway infrastructure. The survey was completed utilising interviews with infrastructure managers, maintenance contractors, planners of railway operations and the Banverket material service department.

SammanfattningI have looked into the possibilities for culture workers to integrate music in the schools traditional teaching. Through litterateur and interviews it appears that it is a lot of possibilities, but also obstacles. The greatest obstacle seems to be the lack of money, time and research. The possibilities come with an increased understanding between the occupational groups and a good function of coordination. The creative process and its possibilities in the school surroundings, is something that also is under discussion.Jag har undersökt möjligheterna för kulturarbetare att integrera musiken i skolans traditionella undervisning.

Abstract (magisteruppsats, 61-80p)This paper is concerned with the national sentiments in the Federal State of Germany,regarding the east- and west-German cleavages, since the unification of the country in 1990.The point of departure is the nationalistic theory crafted together by the scholar AnthonyDavid Smith, which implies an ethno-symbolistic perspective on the dynamics of nations.The main question in the paper is to which extent you can consider the East- and WestGermans to be a unity, considering the past and the forty-year-division. For this reason theauthor basically uses two different sources: scientific books and the German journal DerSpiegel.Founded on Smith's theory, the study contains a broad explanation for national identities incontemporary states, which ranges from pre-modern times, when the ethnic communities werecreated, to the national world of today.The discontinuity of the German case, represented by the separation 1949-90 of the Germannation into two entirely different societies, makes it possible to draw conclusions about whichfactor that has the pivotal impact on national identities.The result turns out to be that the national historical core-values and symbols of the currentGerman state and nation are more profound than the splitting national sentiments. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se vilka diskurser vi kan lokalisera inom riktlinjer gällande, och forskning på, området sexualupplysning till ungdomar i Sverige och USA och att sedan analysera och jämföra de olika diskurser vi funnit. Vi ville även ta reda på vilka konsekvenser de olika tankesätten skulle kunna ha i ungdomars vardag.Vi rör oss inom en kvalitativ och konstruktivistisk kontext, med diskursanalys som verktyg, när vi lokaliserar de teman och tankesätt som framkommer i vårt material. Vi har undersökt amerikanskt material i form av forskningsrapporter om avhållsamhetsprogram och om policys som berör sexualundervisning samt en lagtext på federal nivå som behandlar innehållet i avhållsamhetsprogram. Det svenska materialet består av grundskolans läroplan, rapporter och referensmaterial från skolverket gällande sexualundervisning, samt en rapport från Folkhälsoinstitutet.Som kompletterande underlag har vi intervjuat en representant för en rådgivningsbyrå för ungdomar i New York (Planned Parenthood NY) samt en representant för RFSU här i Sverige, för att få en bild av hur sexualrådgivningsorganisationer resonerar kring sexualupplysning till ungdomar.Vi fann tre olika diskurser i det amerikanska materialet; oskulden i fokus, heteronorm, moralism. I det svenska materialet fann vi två diskurser; likvärdig sexualundervisning till alla ungdomar samt allt är normalt.
