Sveriges skogsmark är idag mycket eftertraktad såsom en plats för rekreation, en penningplacering, jaktmark, etc. I och med detta har fastighetspriserna skjutit i höjden, och det verkar inte finnas någon avmattning i sikte inom den närmsta tiden. Världsmarknaden för försäljning av massa, papper och sågade trävaror har även den varit gynnsam, vilket avspeglar sig i betalningsförmågan till skogsägarna. Fler och fler aktörer slåss om att få köpa den allt mer eftertraktade skogsråvaran hos Sveriges skogsägare och även det gynnar prisbilden. Det finns fyra skogsägarföreningar i Sverige.

Kinnarps är en av Europas ledande producenter av inredningslösningar för offentliga miljöer, huvudsakligen kontorslösningar. Företaget har en utpräglad miljöprofil och har nyligen tagit ett strategiskt beslut att innan 2020 ska råvaran för deras produktion av planmöbler vara FSC-certifierad. Kinnarps har uttryckt att det förekommer en brist på FSC-certifierad råvara. Denna studie syftar till att söka möjligheter för Kinnarps att öka andelen FSC-certifierad råvara tillgänglig för företagets produktion. Ansatsen har varit att undersöka existerande affärsrelationer i några av företagets förädlingskedjor och hur synen på FSC-certifiering ser ut bland aktörerna i dessa för att se om det finns något samband mellan de båda.

The Swedish Cooperative Lantmännen Ekonomiska Förening has initiated a project labelled "Operation Blåljus" that includes an extensive program for closing down elevators. The number of elevators will be reduced from 92 to approximately 15 after harvest of 2007. The objective of Blåljus is to increase the price of grain with 10 öre/kg. A project has been initiated at the Lantmännen Grain division where the purpose is to provide the farmers with support in their decisions and practical advice how they can load a 35 ton grain truck on 30 minutes. The result from the project will serve as a support system to the farmer in his ambition to achieve cost efficient systems to load a truck with grain on the farm.

In many European countries there is an increasing concern about the occasionally high concentrations of nitrate and pesticides in drinking water. The advent of the EU Water Framework Directive particularly highlights this. The directive states that all large drinking water sources should be identified and protected from pollution before 2009 and that by 2015 all water bodies should reach a 'good status'. In Sweden about 60 percent of the drinking water sources have protection areas. This means that about 700 new water protection areas need to be designated before 2009. This will affect many farmers, restricting their farming practices. The purpose of this study was to investigate which methods are used in other countries concerning nitrate and pesticide pollution from agriculture. From this, the expectation was to generate ideas on what could be undertaken in Sweden when designating new protection areas.

Food insecurity is a great problem worldwide and Ethiopia is one of the sub-saharan countries that are suffering from poverty and food insecurity and a large part of the population are living in a state of undernourishment. To reduce these problems, a successful horticulture production can be an important factor. Compared to other crops, fruit production in Ethiopia has not been a large part of the agricultural sector. However, the demand on the domestic market is increasing as well as the production for avocado and mango. To increase food security it is important to focus on ways to decrease post-harvest losses of food products and not only have the productivity of agriculture in focus.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka likheter och skillnader i undervisningen som finns mellan en grundsärskoleklass och en grundskoleklass. Undersökningens metod är strukturerade observationer genomförda av två observatörer i en grundskoleklass och i en särskoleklass på samma skola. Olika aspekter av undervisningen observerades, av vilka några kan anses utgöra förutsättningar för en inkluderande undervisning. Dessa är: samarbete mellan pedagoger i undervisningen, ledarskapsmodeller, cooperativt lärande (samarbetsinlärning), dynamisk pedagogik samt samarbete mellan pedagoger i problemlösande undervisning. Resultatet visar på likhet mellan de båda skolformerna beträffande användandet av en organismisk modell med ett demokratiskt ledarskap, där grundsärskolans pedagoger endast använder det aningen mer frekvent än grundskolans pedagoger.
