Syftet är att undersöka huruvida övergången till IFRS den 1 januari 2005 resulterar i några effekter i balansräkningen för ett börsnoterat svenskt bolag. Dessutom undersöker vi om ett svenskt börsnoterat företag anser att möjligheten att jämföra börsnoterade företags finansiella rapporter ökar i och med övergången till IFRS. Vidare har vi kontrollerat om de uppfattningar ett svenskt börsnoterat företag har om de framtida effekterna som kan uppstå till följd av övergången till IFRS överrensstämmer med uttalanden gjorda i affärstidningar och annan fackpress. Vår intention är slutligen att presentera ett svenskt börsnoterat företags idéer kring eventuellt ändrat framtida beteende till följd av övergången till IFRS. Arbetet innefattar en fallstudie baserad på en kvalitativ metod, eftersom vi ämnade uppnå en djupare förståelse av det vi studerade.

Pattern design is a territory which has been widely explored by many during a long period of time. With this project I hope to shine a new light on wallpaper design, the area on which I?ve applied my patterns to.The inspiration for this wallpaper collection originated in a past project in which I experimented with weaving strips of paper together in different ways. During this time I found myself curious to investigate how this kind of weaving could be applied to textiles, wallpapers, etc.My main focus in this project has been about creating interesting patterns in which unexpected motifs are woven together. I?ve also touched on the subject of creating a kind of conceptual wallpaper constructed by weaving strips of wallpaper together.I based my patterns on a series of drawings that I created during the course leading up to this project.

The project was carried out with SwedSafe AB, engaged in hearing and manufacture of earplugs. Since the company is a world leader in the sale of these products, it is important that they keep a higher level of quality of these products.Production of earplugs is currently a automated manufacturing process that is divided into four conveyor belts and one of the conveyor belts is what will be affected in the project. The belt affected during this process is exposed to various elements such as filling, closing, fermentation and extraction of products. Because the belt gets dirty, degraded products and the work environment is affected. To increase the quality of products and improve the working environment requires an automatic cleaning process, which collects dirt from the belt.The aim of the project is to design a machine that prevents the belt from becoming dirty, preserve molds clean and improve the working environment without disrupting production.

This report will detail the participator view of partnering in Kvarteret Frodeparken. Kvarteret Frodeparken is a new construction project being jointly delivered by Skanska Sverige AB and Uppsalahem AB. The report will focus on the comparison between the participators view of partnering with an emphasis on common partnering goals. The report will also focus on the economical benefits, the time benefits and the social environment benefits you can find in partnering.The principals of partnering are; participants together make the common goals for the projects, make ice breaking activities to improve stakeholder engagement and working with an open economy to find the profitable choice for the project. With a combination of the three principals the team together decide the best solution for the project.

Many organizations today work in projects, a method of organizing work to provide a clearer focus on goals and more control of every aspect of the assignment. A project is, simply put, a plan to achieve a specific result. In turn, project management means to use various tools and methods to facilitate and streamline the effort towards achieving the goal with the project.Risk management is the activity that refers to finding, identifying and quantify different types of risks and take appropriate action towards reducing or eliminating these risks to the extent possible. With increased use of projects as a method of working the demands for managing risks better become stronger. The question that this thesis tried to answer was: ?What kind of risks does the IT industry think are linked to their projects and in what way does these companies manage these risks??Among the project leaders interviewed, the authors could see a great variation in lines of thought and values regarding the importance of risk management and how risk management should be handled.

Foreign aid is a very debated and controversial topic. The most recent studies have focused more on GDP growth and foreign aid correlation, however not much of the debate has focused on what kind of foreign aid should be given. The most common foreign aid is budget support, often a bilateral funds transfer between two countries. This kind of foreign aid can be both conditional and unconditional from the donors? perspective.

This paper is a case study of a local labour market project. The aim of the study is to investigate the staff?s way of working with unemployed people, receiving social assistance, in order to reduce the payment of social assistance in four adjacent city districts of Stockholm. Other objectives of the study are to investigate which criteria the staff uses when selecting participants for the project, in which way the participants? background affects the measures taken by the staff and how the staff experiences working as part of a project.

Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva hur controllers i svenska stora företag i olikabranscher uppfattar affärssystemet och dess påverkan på verksamhetenoch hur de använder och påverkas av affärssystemet för arbete medekonomistyrning.Teoretisk referensram: Vi använder oss av två delar i teorin. Den ena handlar om affärssystem,integrering, implementering, ledningskontroll i systemet och system förekonomistyrningen. Den andra delen tar upp litteratur och forskningkring controllers, controllers och ekonomistyrningen, skillnader mellanbusiness och accounting controllers, controllers utvecklingen i sambandmed IT och den nya controllerrollen.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod, surveyundersökning,med åtta controllers på sju svenska stora företag i olika branscher.Angreppssättet i uppsatsen är det deduktiva, då vi har utgått från redanexisterande teorier och forskning för att utarbeta intervjufrågorna iuppsatsen. Intervjuerna som vi har genomfört är våra primära källor somhar gett resultat till empirin som senare har analyserats ochavslutningsvis lett till våra slutsatser.Empiri: Vår empiri är det resultat som vi har fått som baseras på åtta personligadjupintervjuer med controllers. Det finns en spridning blandrespondenterna eftersom de har olika lång arbetslivserfarenhet och olikapositioner inom sina företag: från business controller till CFO.Slutsatser: Angående vår första frågeställning i uppsatsen om hur svenskacontrollers uppfattar affärssystemet och dess påverkan på verksamhetenfann vi som våra slutsatser att de anser att affärssystems integrering intefungerar, att affärssystemet styr affären och att det brister i redskap förledningskontroll och strategiarbete.

In the last decades the continuous work for more sustainable manufacturing has become a large part of the manufacturing companies? operations. It is also well known that the factory planning shapes the manufacturing process to a great extent. Consequently it is logical to assume that the manufacturing companies? factory planning process plays a major role in the work for increased sustainability.

This project was conducted on behalf of the organization SABO (Swedish Association of Public Housing Companies). The aim of this project was to investigate which relevant environmental aspects and indicators there are for housing companies to present in their sustainability report. The project consists of three main goals: to decide if there is a need for common guidelines when conducting a sustainability report, determine appropriate environmental indicators and to create a simple model of how the companies can present them. This was done by a literature study, analysis of 13 sustainability reports and interviews with seven housing companies. The result of the project suggests that there is a need for common guidelines to, among other things, make it easier to make a comparison with other companies.

In the digital era, new services have entered the public libraries, like seeking information on the Internet, in databases, newspapers online etc. But many citizens do not know that these services exist. The libraries have a democratic responsibility to inform about them. In the county of Östergötland a project started in 2001 where libraries in five small municipalities built websites in which they present all their electronic services available. One of the aims was with the help of different kinds of marketing to reach special groups of people, like adult students, small companies and politicians.

This master theses deals with different methods for automatic tuning of the existing controller for external axis. Three methods for automatic tuning have been investigated. Two of these are based on the manuell method used today. The third method is based on optimal placement of the dominant poles. Different sensitivity functions are important for this method.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the target to convert the Swedish military aviation industry towards working within the civilian sector was planned and implemented parallel to the target of building a world-class military aircraft. A number of Government bills have been studied, bills directly connected to the JAS-project as well as bills dealing with civilian project ?s for the military aviation industry. The first group includes bills dealing with the JAS-project ?s role in the overarcing defence policy, as well as the Government ?s bill specifying the guidelines for the JAS-project.

The right touch is a project investigating the necessity of the graphic designer in relation to prose text.The project is partly theoretical and partly practical. A series of interviews with graphic designers, publishers and writers has been conducted to discuss the relationship between content and form in prose. In addition to these interviews, I have done theoretical research on the historical, political and economical context of the designed prose. Based on the findings during the theoretical research, a series of practical experiments was also executed. This project has had several outcomes but one of the more noteworthy is two methods for challenging the references in the act of designing prose (choosing a typeface, for example) using algorithms.

I litteraturen beskrivs controllern väldigt olika från författare till författare, vilket kan förklaras med att controllerrollen varierar från företag till företag, därav är controllerns roll väldigt omdiskuterad angående titel, placering i företaget, dess funktion och arbetsuppgifter. Forskare påpekar att detta är ett område som bör studeras mer. I vår uppsats försöker vi återberätta hur controllerfunktionen beskrivs i tre svenska företag: Duni AB, Höganäs AB och Gekås. Tidigare studier angående controllerns relation gentemot sina ovanställda chefer har visat att den ekonomiska information, produkt, controllern arbetar fram inte är tillfredsställande och i värsta fall irrelevant för beslutsfattandet inom verksamheten. Denna uppsats ämnar beskriva framtagningsprocessen av controllerns produkter, mottagarens uppfattning av slutprodukten samt situationen mellan controllern som producent och ekonomichefen som mottagare i de tre undersökta företagen.
