Landscape urbanism has for the last decade been a topic for debate among practitioners and theorists involved in forming the contemporary city. The advocates for landscape urbanism mean that traditional dichotomies like city and country are invalid to illustrate the contemporary urban realm. Rather, a new urban morphology has evolved, which calls for new methods and models when approaching the city. Landscape urbanism suggests a revaluation of landscape in order to develop these approaches. This paper sets out to map how this is addressed within landscape urbanism.

Background: Thanks to the globalization and the EU the international trade is growing faster than ever and companies are able to change ownership across the borders of the nations. Today one can talk about global marketplace with a deeper integration of the economies of the world. The rapidly growing list of mergers of Swedish companies since the last 10 years indicates that the global companies of today is using mergers as a strategic tool for continue their growth. However the number of unsuccessful mergers is big. The need of understanding and knowledge about different cultures is growing in the global business climate of today, since the collaborations across de national borders are increasing.Problem formulation: Which international strategies are fortunate in international mergers with Swedish companies?Purpose: The purpose is to analyze the integration of the three mergers; Vin&Sprit ? Pernod Ricard, Astra - Zeneca and Telia ? Sonera.Method: This study is a case study with a qualitative approach.

E-business innebär att företag använder Internetteknologier eller nätverksteknologier för att skapa större affärsnytta i deras affärsprocesser. För att kunna genomföra automatiserade affärsprocesser krävs att de olika system som används är interoperabla, d v s kan kommunicera och fungera ihop på ett effektivt sätt. Målet med Web Services är att skapa hög interoperabilitet, vilket gör denna teknik lämplig för e-business. Företag kan specialicera sig på att skapa specifika Web Services. Dessa Web Services kan sedan vara byggstenar åt andra företags tjänster. Det krävs då att Web Services kan integreras på ett bra sätt så att de verkligen bildar en affärsprocess. Därför är även frågor kring hur integration mellan Web Services ska gå till, viktigt ur ett e-bussiness perspektiv. Det vi kommit fram till är att det går att minimera integrationsproblemen genom att anvä nda de mest standardiserade protokollen och följa vissa riktlinjer vid skapandet av Web Services.

Arbetet ger en översikt av litteratur kring kunskapsuttnyttjande, forskning och skolutveckling samt kring handledning, profession, tidsbrist och bemötande. Vi har intervjuat blivande specialpedagoger. Med hjälp av svaren har vi fått reda på vilka önskemål om skolutveckling de har, nu och i framtiden och vilka hinder och svårigheter de har sett i sin verksamhet. During the last 20 years, the Swedish health care system has faced major changes. One of them is the increasing pressure to generate economic profit due to private businesses entering the market. Health care units are forced to make some structural changes in order to become effective and efficient. As a result merger and acquisitions has become a part of the health care sector, and seems to be an increasing phenomenon. Mergers and acquisitions have mainly been studied in the industry.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

The purpose of this study is from a case study develop a model that aims to cost effectively improve productivity in a manufacturing production process. The study highlights the importance of having knowledge about customer needs and using a holistic process perspective when improving productivity to identify the relations between the process stations and by this find problems that cause waste and losses in productivity. Denna studies syfte är att undersöka invandrares syn på och upplevelser av praktik i samband med svenskstudier. Studien grundar sig på kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra kvinnor som alla har erfarenheter av praktik i samband med sfi och studier i svenska på högre nivåer.Deras upplevelser har sammanställts under fyra olika teman; språkutveckling, handledarens roll, möjligheter till arbete, samt integration. Dessa olika teman jämförs även med en rad statliga utredningar och andra rapporter som tar upp praktik och kopplingen till de olika temana.Studiens teoretiska referensram visar på högt ställda politiska intentioner när det gäller praktik som åtgärd för en etablering i samhället. Praktiken ska bl.a. gynna inträdet på arbetsmarknaden och vara språkutvecklande.

Under 1900-talet har världens städer i allt större utsträckning kommit att utvecklas till segregerade samhällen där fattiga och rika, högutbildade och lågutbildade lever geografiskt åtskilda från varandra. Vilka mekanismer och strukturer ligger bakom detta segregerade samhälle? På vilket sätt kan åtgärder motverka segregation? I rapporten genomförs ett försök att svara på dessa frågor i relation till översiktlig planering av bebyggelse och infrastruktur. Dessutom prövas en hypotes att den översiktliga fysiska planeringen kan vara ett verktyg i motverkandet av segregation. Med en teoretisk och praktisk bas prövas hypotesen genom att introducera ett tankesätt som har sin utgångspunkt i de sociala aspekterna, där målet med exploatering blir att främja integration.

The aim of this study was to gain a comprehension of managers experience of their identity and their construction of identity in the work sphere. 14 semi-structured interviews were performed with managers in the public sector. The interviews were analyzed from a hermeneutic approach. The results showed that the managers´ experience of their identity and their construction of identity were full of nuances and was characterized by a being and a becoming. The managers had several social identities at their disposal, which were brought to the fore due to the situation.

1, SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen handlar om hur kommun- och skolbibliotek kan arbeta med integration och läsfrämjande arbete. ProjektetBiblioteket mitt i Världen har nyligen beviljats medel från Västerbottens Läns Landsting och Kulturrådet. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med några personer som kan komma att påverkas av projektet och observationer försöker jag ge en bild av inledningsfasen av ett projekt som rör integration och läsfrämjande arbete. Observationerna rör föredraget Böcker, boxning och värderingar som inleder projektet. Eftersom projektet ligger alldeles i startgroparna är uppsatsen ett försök att sondera terrängen och undersöka projektets möjligheter.

Bakgrund: Företagsförvärv är en beprövad metod att öka ett företags storlek och styrka på en marknad. Att uppnå synergieffekter och konkurrensfördelar är målet, och finansiella aspekter är avgörande för när och hur ett uppköp ska genomföras. För att uppnå dessa mål krävs, förutom en positiv ekonomisk kalkyl, även en atmosfär som stöder bolagens integrering. Därför är det viktigt för ledningen att ta hänsyn till de underliggande föreställningar och värderingar som existerar i organisationerna, samt försöka utröna på vilket sätt dessa kan utgöra hinder, eller möjligen verktyg, för en lyckad integration. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att ur ett kulturperspektiv söka förklara och förstå hur en kulturförändring uppstår, och påverkar de anställda, i samband med att ett mindre företag köps upp och integreras med ett större.

This studie explores how a promotive youth movement that aims to activate adolescents in economically and socially exposed areas, can affect the youth?s participation in society and oppose their experience of stigmatization. The youth movement, whom is being studied, uses urban art expressions as a mean to engage and motivate the adolescents. The empirism has mostly been collected by a limited participatory observation, and through qualitative interviews with staff and adolescents in the movement. The result has been analyzed through Pierre Bourdieus field theory.

Best of Breed and ERP-based are two types of CRM systems. The study has focused on analyzing and examine the need for CRM systems at manufacturing companies. Our question formulation has been:? What need do businesses want to satisfy with a Best of Breed-based and ERP-based CRM system?? The study aims to give an understanding of theneed and demand for bicycle parking spaces today, as well as to determine how these canbe met according to different theories. The study also aims to investigate the issue withincorrectly parked bicycles, which occurs frequently in the cityscape and therefore createsan obstacle in street spaces.An observational study on the new bicycle lots along Götgatan was conducted in orderto analyze how the theories of bicycle parking spaces are applied in practice. Cyclistswere then interviewed in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the cyclists? revealedpreferences.
