Nathan Söderblom var ett levande band mellan Europas folkkyrkor, en andes budbärare, som blev hörd och förstådd överallt och genom vilken människor från skilda världar lättade upp sitt hjärta för varandra. Hans stora tanke: fred och samförstånd svarade mot den längtan, som växt sig så stark i efterkrigsårens splittrade värld, och dock förefaller det omöjligt att avgöra, om det var hans idéer, som fäste världens uppmärksamhet på hans person, eller om det inte snarare var den gåtfulla makten hos denna märkliga personlighet, som förde den ekumeniska tanken till seger. Han vann snart nog en erkänd ställning som en av protestantismens ledande personligheter, och hans namn blev till sist ett av de få stora som världen känner.Eftersom hans starka personlighet ligger i grund för hans ekumeniska verksamhet, säger jag några ord om Söderblom som person. Det som lockade mest var hans enkelhet. Han hörde inte till dem som blir uppblåsta av sina värdigheter.

Mycket har hänt runt lagstiftningen kring våldtäkt sedan den infördes i Sverige på 1200-talet. Då var våldtäkt ett egendomsbrott, ett brott mot mannen. Idag är våldtäkt ett brott mot kvinnan och över hennes rättigheter att bestämma över sin egen sexualitet. År 2003 anmäldes cirka 2560 våldtäkter men endast 12 procent av de våldtäkter som skedde inomhus ledde till åtal. Syftet med detta arbete är att jämföra den nuvarande lagstiftningen med det nya lagförslaget som är tänkt att börja gälla från den första april 2005.

What they requested from us was a moisture program in which you clearly could follow the routines regarding work with moisture in timber. The aim is to use this program as a help during the work, in order to achieve a good result.We have developed this study in addition to the moisture program. The aim is that this study will give you a deeper understanding of the important factors to consider.

Inom friidrottens löpgrenar kan man idag se vid de stora galorna att det finns en person som har till uppgift att springa före övriga deltagare och springa i en viss fart som har beställts antingen av arrangörerna eller någon löpare. Denna person kallas för "hare" vars huvuduppgift är att se till att ett visst tempo hålls under loppet. Men vad har detta fenomen för effekt på idrottens värde? Detta arbete ger en beskrivning av fenomenet "haren" både ur historiskt perspektiv samt hur det ser ut i nutida läge. Genom diverse teorier om vad som skapar värde inom idrott och hur idrott bör utföras för att uppfattas som mer "äkta" har fenomenet sedan analyserats för att bestämma om fenomenet är något positivt eller negativt för idrottens värde.

The purpose of this study was to examine children's participation in court proceedings on supervised visitation and to analyse the descriptions of children in court verdicts. Eleven verdicts concerning supervised visitation resolved in 2014 were collected from two district courts in Stockholm County and studied with a qualitative textual analysis. The material was analysed with participation levels influenced by the ladder of participation for children developed by Roger Hart and with the theory of sociology of childhood. Our findings showed that children's opinions were mentioned in eight of the verdicts. In four verdicts the children's will influenced the courts decisions.

Through interviews with children of ages 4-5 years old and by observing children children at play at three preschools with different types of outdoor surroundings, I have investigated if the preschools outdoor surroundings have any influences on the children´ choice of play. The hypothesis was that natural surroundings can entice children´s interest in nature being in it and play. I have also investigated if the children know why it is important to be outdoors and if they know it has a positive influence on their health.The result of my investigation is that the children play about the same games at the three different preschool gardens, but at the preschool with more natural surroundings, the children have more contact with plants and animals, and could learn of the different phenomena of nature by the preschool teacher answering their questions. Most of the children in the interviews know it´s useful to be outdoors and be on the move and get fresh air, but many of them thought it was most important to play. By being outdoors the children get exercise, fresh air, play and at the same time they establish an understanding of the nature and a healthier life..

The Anglo-Saxon trust is not a new phenomenon, but existed as early as in the Middle Ages. The concept is customary among common-law countries, such as England the US,but unfamiliar to civil-law countries like Sweden. The person who creates the trust is called a settlor, the one who holds and administer the property is a trustee and the person who benefits from the settlement is called a beneficiary.In Sweden there is no legislation of how the trust ought to be assessed, but the need to understand it has probably increased with the internationalization.The Swedish Supreme Administrative Court has had a few opportunities to elucidate some of the uncertainties regarding trusts, but chose to abstain. The aim of this study has been to investigate how the death of a close relative is described in pictures and texts through the eyes of a child character in three picture books. The analysis has also considered how the child character copes with the tragedy and how he or she finds support in the grief process. The books analysed here are Resan till Ugri-La-Brek (1987), Farväl, Rune (1986), and Jättebra Olga! (2010). Since these are works of fiction, this study does not assume that they are an accurate reflection of reality, but the way the child characters act and cope with their grief has been compared with the findings of empirical research on how children react in real situations.The material has been examined by means of a qualitative literary analysis comparing the books according to the research questions. The study finds that the child characters receive evasive explanations from people around them concerning what death means, for instance that the person is sleeping.

A refugee reception has been placed in Kungshall, one of Nybros residential areas. The area has a bad reputation and there are arguably prejudices about the area from the local population. I therefore want to investigate if an ethnic residential segregation exists in Kungshall, from a postcolonial perspective. The following research questions have been formulated: How do residents who doesn?t live in the refugee reception, look at ethnic residential segregation in Nybro? How has Kungshall changed since the refugee reception? Does a cultural racism exist in Kungshall? The study is a qualitative study using semi structured interviews of four people living in the residential area, a person who has moved out of the area and a person working on the housing corporation ?Nybro bostads AB?, who is one of the housing corporation responsible for the residential area Kungshall.

BackgroundAnorexia nervosa is a growing problem in society and it is most common among women. It is a complex disease that affects both the mental and the physical health. The disease expresses itself differently from person to person, therefore, treatment should be individualized. Nurses need to gain insight into how patients feel about the treatment in order to understand their experience. Previous studies use statistical research to evaluate treatment.

 På senare år har ett nytt sorts chefskap blivit mer och mer vanligt, ett chefskap där man är både chef och kollega. Detta sätt att vara chef på är vanligt inom många branscher i dag, även inom förskolans värld, där jag är verksam. Att balansera mellan olika roller på ett övertygande sätt är långt ifrån en lätt sak, men de dubbla rollerna har även positiva sidor. Mitt syfte med denna essä, som är baserad på självupplevda händelser, är att försöka reda ut för- och nackdelar med att vara en chef som sitter på två stolar, och att få svar på frågan: Är det möjligt för en och samma person att gå i och ur sina olika roller och vilka egenskaper behöver denna person ha? För att få svar på mina frågor har jag fört diskussioner med den teoretiska litteraturen.

Asperger är ett syndrom som kännetecknas av genomgripande begränsningar inom flera viktiga utvecklingsområden; ömsesidigt socialt samspel, kommunikation samt beteende och föreställningsförmåga. Asperger syndrom har sitt ursprung i den tidiga barndomen men kan medföra störst svårigheter först i tidigt vuxenliv. Det finns många vuxna som gått genom livet utan att bli adekvat diagnostiserade. Detta har skapat onödigt lidande och en ständig undran över vad som är fel. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva människors upplevelser av att få diagnosen Asperger syndrom i vuxen ålder samt hur livet blev efter diagnos.

The purpose of this study is to identify and make attitudes among social workers towards homosexual and bisexual people visible, examine how these attitudes relate to their actions in their professional role and how these attitudes and actions can be understood by theories of heteronormativity and power. The study is a cross-sectional quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire completed by social workers. The result shows that there are two groups among the social workers. One larger group that reproduces a norm of acceptance toward homosexual and bisexual people and one smaller that reproduces a heterosexual norm. This reproduction of heteronormativity increases the risk for homosexual and bisexual people to be made invisible and treated more negatively in contact with social workers, which in turn can lead to worse health among the clients..
