Syfte: Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur stor skillnad det gör för medelvärdet på det slutgiltiga intraokulära trycket (IOP) då det mäts en, två, tre eller sex gånger med en noncontact tonometer. Syftet var också att komma fram till vilket antal mätningar som borde vara det korrekta.Metod: Alla mätningar utfördes med hjälp av Topcons non-contact tonometer CT-80A. Mätningarna upprepades på båda ögonen till dess att sex korrekta värden hade mätts upp. Högerögat mättes alltid först. Alla försökspersoner i studien hade normala IOP-värden.

The aim of this MA thesis is to examine how users regard and receive the services offered by a specific public library. We also examine what the conception of service means to the users and how they perceive this service being offered by the library. We look upon if and to what extent the service conception depends on contact with the library staff. The methods used are qualitative interviews and analyses of documents directing the library activities. The public library we have examined in this respect is the public library of Västerås.

In this study we have analyzed the underlying factors for what the causes and reasons are for young men to be part of the criminal life. It focuses on how the children actively participate in the process of shaping family life and their own childhoods in the context of family change.

Children and teenagers who can´t participate in the regular school for a longer time for whatever reason, have by the school law the right to education in hospitals or institutions. Education that take place in other places than school most try to follow the same guidelines as his/hers usual school.  This applies to students in elementary school, compulsory school, special school, Sami school, secondary school and upper secondary school.Purpose:  The purpose of this study was to find out how three teachers at a hospital school plans their work with children in grade from 1 to 3, who suffer from cancer, especially brain tumor.  How can the teachers at the hospital school plan and organize their teaching so that it´s possible for the children whit brain tumor to feel as normal as possible. How does the common work between the consultant nurse, teachers at the hospitals and their ordinary school prevent the children to feel like an outsider?Method: I have chosen to do a qualitative study followed by three interviews whit three informants who works at a hospital school.

The purpose of this study is to first investigate how a group of Syriac women participating in the Syriac/Aramaic Academics Association (SAAF ? Syrianska/Arameiska Akademikerförbundet) at a Swedish university perceive their ethnic identity, and maintain it in the mainstream Swedish society. Furthermore, it considers whether SAAF as an ethnic institution provides an arena for the reproduction of social capital in interaction with the women's families. This study is based on previous research and theories of ethnic identity and its role in the building of social capital within so-called ethnic groups.
