The cultivation theory claims that it is just the amount of TV that shows an effect on Consumers and their perception of reality, like for example the mean world syndrome. But the theory has been criticized for not considering the possible effects that are actually related to other variables. These variables have weakened or totally eliminated the effects, previously explainedby TV, in later control studies of the cultivation theory.

Lojalitetsprogram ur medlemmarnas perspektiv. : Skapas lojalitet eller tröghet?
As the usage of loyalty programs increases, this study takes a new approach to examine how these programs influence Consumers? attitudes toward brands. This paper is influenced by the recent findings that question the capability to create a clear picture of the effects of loyalty programs by conducting quantitative research. This is based of the differentiation between attitudes and actions, leading to the fact that quantitative research have only captured the actions of members of loyalty programs. In contrast to that, this paper uses qualitative interviews to create a more in-depth point of view. The paper immerses the reader in the theoretical viewings of what loyalty is and how it emerges from satisfaction.
Kvaliteten hos charkprodukter efter borttagandet av namnskydd, samt införandet av EU:s köttdefinition
Until the 1st of January 2003 there were thirteen processed meat products provided with name protection in Sweden. These products had to contain a certain amount of meat and/or a certain amount of fat to be allowed to carry a recognized name. Among these thirteen products, one could find, for example, meat balls (köttbullar), liver pâté (leverpastej), and Falun sausage (Falukorv). While imports of these products started to increase, the system with name protection lost its ability to guarantee a certain quality for all products sold in Sweden and the legislation was removed on December 31st 2002. At the same time, a common definition of meat was adopted in the European Union.

The community also exposes the consumer for a more intense noise from offers, impact and marketing.
Mellan fri vilja och datadriven exploatering: En studie om drivkrafter, medvetenhet, makt och ansvar inom onlinecasinomarknaden
This essay examines the limits of marketing strategies in the online casino industry,
focusing on how data-driven and advanced marketing practices influence consumer
behavior and contribute to problematic gambling consumption. By observing the
online casino industry, the study identifies how companies use sophisticated data
analysis methods and psychological techniques to attract and retain customers,
raising significant ethical and social issues.
The study highlights three key perspectives: the consumer's, the producer's, and the
legislator's. From the consumer's perspective, it explores how various consumer
behaviors, from responsible gambling to problematic overconsumption, are
influenced by marketing and gaming experiences. This includes an analysis of how
cognitive limitations and psychological biases can lead to irrational decisions and an
increased risk of gambling addiction.
From the producer's perspective, it examines how gambling companies use
marketing strategies and technologies to increase profitability and what incentives
they have to take social responsibility according to modern Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) principles. It appears that companies do not see CSR as a
business goal beyond the risk of current and future regulatory compliance
requirements and policy changes.
From the legislator's viewpoint, the current regulatory framework for the gambling
industry is discussed, including the changes that occurred in 2019 when the special
monopoly form we had in Sweden was transformed into a license market.
