Validering av Jaeger Oxycon Mobile - mobil syreupptagningsutrustning
Bakgrund: Test av syreupptag (VO2) kan fungera som en utvärdering av träningen för idrottare. VO2-test kan även nyttjas för att synliggöra anställdas eventuella hälsoproblem inom ett företag. Det finns idag en rad olika stationära och mobila utrustningar som mäter syreupptag (VO2), koldioxidproduktion (VCO2) och minutventilation (VÉ). Ett exempel är Jaeger Oxycon Mobile, bärbar VO2-utrustning, som kan användas i idrottarens eller arbetarens normala arbetsmiljö. Det finns idag inga publicerade studier där validiteten hos Jaeger Oxycon Mobile har testats.
En utvärdering av Peabs inköps- och avropssystem
This report is an evaluation of Peab's purchase and call-off system, PIA.PIA is used to order goods for Peab's construction sites. The background to the work is that users of the system have understood the system cumbersome to use when purchasing goods for construction sites. The evaluation was carried out by the interviews and tests with users of the program, in this case, supervisors and site managers at the company. Ten users of the system were interviewed and eleven people have carried out a test order.The focus is primarily on the test order that users have implemented, which has been clocked and analyzed for time and cost. The evaluation is also a user analysis concerning how the users perceive the program, mainly in terms of usability, functionality and benefits.The result of this report shows that PIA is economically profitable to use for the purchase of goods for construction sites.
IFRS 3 konsekvenser på svenska företag med avseende på förvärvad goodwill
The purpose of this master thesis was to examine how the corporations quoted on the A-list on the Stockholm Stock Exchange were affected by the introduction of IFRS 3 Business Combinations. Their opinion about the accounting rule and the acquired goodwill in particular was focused as well. The authors wanted to see if there were any changes in ROE, return on equity, after the introduction of the new accounting standard.Data for this study was collected through interviews, questionnaires and annual reports. Interviews were held with corporate accounting managers of Assa Abloy, WM-data, Electrolux, Ericsson and SCA. Questionnaires were sent by e-mail to 50 companies and were answered by 30 of them.

The purpose of this thesis was to highlight how different aspects of market communication are used when micro companies choose to use both Internet and store selling activities towards the consumer market. The thesis dealt with off-line and on-line communication considerations with focus on advertising, interactions, and relations. In order to achieve this purpose a case study was conducted, that revealed that the companies acted according to theories. The conclusions drawn from the thesis were that companies tended to rely on traditional ways of dealing with advertising and interaction. We could also see that relations were created as a result of unconscious behavior and that the Internet activities still were on a basic level..

SummaryI have a great interest in bouzoukis and since I, during my education in guitar making, mainly have focused on building bouzoukis and other traditional folk instruments, I have chosen the bouzouki as the object of my degree project.In connection to the making of these instruments, I started to consider the construction of the bouzouki and why the bouzouki has such a characteristic sound.One of my theories is based on the fact that most bouzoukis are made with floating bridges instead of glued pinbridges. Do these types of bridges differ from each other tonally and if so, how much and in what way?To receive answers to my questions, I have built two identical bouzoukis with different types of bridges, one with a glued pinbridge and one with a floating bridge. I have been very precise in the making of these instruments, giving them the exact same dimensions and using material from the same piece of wood. This to make sure that the instruments should be as exactly alike as possible.After finishing the making of the bouzoukis, I arranged for a sound test where I let musicians play and listen to the instruments.

En vanlig risk för organisationer är att användare inte har tillräcklig kunskap omdatasäkerhet vilket kan medföra att känslig information når obehöriga via internet.Administratörer i organisationer har fått ökade problem på grund av att användarna ärden svagaste länken i systemet. En vanlig orsak till detta är att användare i allt störreutsträckning utsätts för nätfiske-attacker.Arbetets syfte är att är att undersöka möjligheten att utforma ett test som undersökerkopplingar mellan personlighetstyper enligt Myers-Briggs Type Indicators ochanvändares förmåga att identifiera nätfiske-attacker. Testet som tagits fram består avtre delar. Första delen är ett MBTI-test, andra delen syftar till att se användarnaskunskap om nätfiske-attacker och tredje delen visar användarnas attityd till nätfiskeoche-postsäkerhet.Resultatet visar att det existerar skillnader mellan personlighetstyper vilket är enindikation på att metoden och testet kan användas för att se en koppling mellanpersonlighetstyper och förmåga att identifiera nätfiske-attacker. Den förvärldsligade kyrkan och Kristi kyrkas helighet : En studie i Erik Petréns kyrkosyn utifrån hans kyrkokritik
Denna rapport är en del av en longitudinell studie av psykolingvistisk ålder och språklig medvetenhet hos elever i årskurs 1 på två olika skolor i Vallentuna kommun. I studien har material från de tre senaste projektåren bearbetats. Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka huruvida fonologisk träning enligt den s.k. Bornholmsmodellen under elevernas tid i 6-årsklass återspeglar sig i ökad språklig medvetenhet och högre psykolingvistisk ålder i årskurs 1. Vidare undersöktes om den fonologiska träningen kan ha påverkat barnens arbetsminne.
En branschstudie om livsmedelsbranschen
I denna branschstudie gällande livsmedelsbutiker, kommer vi att beröra hur butiker kan marknadsföra sig samt vilka faktorer som spelar störst roll vid kundernas val av butik. För att kunna klargöra detta, kommer vi att använda oss av teorier så som Porters fem konkurrenskrafter samt vissa skolformer utifrån boken Marketing Theory av Jagdish N. Sheth, David M. Utvärdering av Språklig Snabbedömning för barn i åldrarna 2:6-3:6 och 4-6 år
Bakgrund: Språklig Snabbedömning (SB) är ett språkligt bedömningsmaterial framtaget för att på kort tid (< 1 h) kunna bedöma ett flertal språkliga förmågor. Användningen är utbredd i Västerbottens läns landsting men den praktiska användningen av bedömningsmaterialet har inte undersökts systematiskt.Frågeställning: Är resultaten av Språklig snabbedömning jämförbara med resultaten från bedömningar gjorda med normerade språkliga bedömningsmaterial?Metod: Data samlades in från arkiverade testmaterial för att kunna göra jämförelser mellan SB och kompletterande test. Totalt ingick 62 barn i undersökningen. Analysen genomfördes kvantitativt och kvalitativt genom att undersöka rankingen i olika material samt detaljgranska skillnader och likheter i upptäckta språkliga fel.Resultat: Den kvalitativa utvärderingen av SB visar att materialet ger resultat som ligger i linje med normerade test.

Mervärdeskapande på Internet : En undersökning av Internetbaserade resebyråer
The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether Swedish, Internet-based travel agencies, acting on a consumer market are working towards creating added value for their customers. If that is the case, how and why do they use such a mode of operation.The theoretical framework was based on Grönroos´ ?Augmented service offering?, which treats added value as an addition to the core service. The services offered on five of the larger companies´ websites on the market were examined and 3 representatives of the five companies were interviewed.The study shows that 2 of the examined companies did not produce any added value, while 3 of the companies did produce added value for the customer. The added value was generated through packaging of core-, facilitating- and supporting services for the purpose of differentiating the company towards competitors and generating service fees..

Kappa Control with Online Analyzer Using Samples from the Digester's Mid-phase
In the pulp industry, digesters are used to disolve lignin in wood chips. The concentration of lignin is measured and is called the Kappa number. In this thesis, the question of whether an online Kappa sensor, taking samples from the mid-phase of the digester, is useful or not is analyzed. For the samples to be useful, there has to be a relationship between the measured Kappa at the mid- phase and the measured Kappa in the blowpipe at the bottom of the digester. An ARX model of the lower part of the digester has been estimated.

A qualitative study about collaboration between librarians and nurses in the supplying of consumer health information (CHI) at The Hospital Library of The Mölndal Hospital in Mölndalnear Gothenburg, Sweden.The staff were interviewed about how their work is affected by the collaboration between thetwo occupational groups. The purpose of the study is to find out if there exists a strugglebetween the groups about the influence on and the control over the handling of this kind ofinformation. Despite some problems with the permission to do as many interviews as needed,the study shows some positive effects with the collaboration. The study gives a short backgroundto the development of CHI services in USA, the UK, Denmark and Sweden.
