During the last few years, there has been a lot of debate regarding the price ofelectricity on the Swedish market. According to a recent survey from Sifo, anon-bias governmental institute for consumer research and testing, the priceof electricity is what worries Swedish households the most. An investigationof the eciency of the Nordic power grids inuence on the Swedish spotprice is therefore both relevant and valuable. Three quarters of all electricityproduced in the Nordic region is traded at the Nord Pool Spot power market.This survey examines how much of the variation of the swedish spot pricecan be descried by the variation of the nordic system price and how much iscaused because of ineciencies in the power grid. Primarily, linear regressionwith adjustments for endogeneity and heteroskedasticity has been used in orderto analyze data obtained mainly from Nord Pool Spot and Vattenfall AB.The results show that the variation of the system price can account for all butabout 40% of the variation in the Swedish spot price.

Jeansmarknaden idag i Sverige är präglad av hög konkurrens med många olika aktörer somverkar där. De senaste åren har en speciell kundgrupp vuxit fram vilka kallas jeansnördar.Dessa konsumenter och deras syn på jeans är i dagsläget inte kartlagt vilket därförhuvudsyftet med studien. Under studien har vi kommit i kontakt med ett svenskt jeansföretagvid namn Pace Jeans som vi intervjuade och fick därigenom hjälp med att identifiera personersom kunde hjälpa oss att uppnå vårt syfte. Genom att ställa oss frågan hur företaget ser påjeansnörden och hur det här skiljer sig från hur den faktiska konsumenten är. Huvudfrågan fördenna studie är vem jeansnörden är och hur denne ser på jeans.

Genom ökad användning på träningskläder har antibakteriella behandlingar blivit allt vanligare för den allmänna konsumenten. Dessa plagg marknadsförs ofta som antibakte-riella eller luktfria, men det som inte framgår är vilka ämnen som används för att uppnå den luktfria effekten. Vanligt förekommande är de behandlingar som är baserade på oorganiska silversalter. Medan leverantörerna av dessa produkter argumenterar för, argumenterar många miljövetare och forskare på bakterier emot antibakteriella produk-ter då dessa kan ha en skadlig inverkan på vår miljö och hälsa. Rapporten syftar till att ge större kunskap kring miljö- och hälsopåverkan vid användandet av textiler behandlade med silversalter samt till att analysera konsumenters inställning till antibakteriella kläder samt deras användar- och tvättvanor för träningskläder.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate how socialworkers describe their attitudes towards reporting childabuse to the police and if they make different decisions when they believe the violence to be honour related and how they handle these questions. The main questions are; How does socialworkers describe their and their colleagues attitudes towards reporting childabuse to the police and when do they believe they should report? Do they describe honourviolence as a specific kind of violence that should be lifted and in what way does it affect their work? The study is written from a legal sociologist perspective with a qualitative approach. Four socialworkers were interviewed and the interviews were analyzed with an anti-racist theory and with the theory about freedom of action.The conclusions is that the socialworkers mostly report childabuse to the police when the violence is physical. This means that children who describes to be subjected to psychological violence, including honourviolence, has poor legal security.

Being a trustee within the disability care will, in most cases, put big responsibility on the trustee both as a representative for the klient but also as a representative for the standards of the society. The assignment as a trustee is to strengthen the client and ease his/her way of living in the society. The Swedish legislation that controls the process and the regulation of the trustees, is by the authors of this paper preceived as kind of vauge, leaving a lot of room for interpretation. So  how do trustees comprehend their assignment and how do they actually interpret it? Using material from eight interviews with trustees within the disability care, this paper aims to examine these questions, and focuses only on the trustees and their experiences.

This paper aims to analyze how preservation of and access to old and rare book collections are organized in public libraries in Serbia. The paper is based on an analysis of documents, a survey and qualitative interviews with librarians in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Serbia is a country that has experienced violent historical periods with far-reaching consequences for its old and rare book collections. The interpretative background refers to documents about cultural policy in Europe and in Serbia. Serbia is a country in transition which aims to join the European Union.

The aim of this paper is to examine the actualities of Information Practicefor single women whose parentage has been made possible through assistedreproduction, which places these parents in a norm-breaking position.Study issues related to parents? perceptions of information needs areinvestigated, as is the process of information retrieval and library usageas well as the obstacles and opportunities facing parents in search ofinformation related to their own family constellation. To this end, theoriesby Tom Wilson, Reijo Savolainen and Elfreda A. Chatman have been usedas a model of selection. Empirical data have been gathered from interviewswith eight single women, whose parentage has been made possible throughartificial insemination or IVF with sperm from an open or anonymousdonor.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på hur brasilianska företag gått tillväga då de anpassat sin varumärkesidentitet till den skandinaviska marknaden samt försöka finna gemensamma nämnare för hur brasilianska företag bör gå tillväga, för att på ett framgångsrikt sätt anpassa sin varumärkesidentitet till den skandinaviska marknaden.En kvalitativ forskningsansats med abduktivt angreppsätt har använtsdär två brasilianska fallföretag intervjuats, Havaianas och Brahmasom båda riktar sig mot business-to-consumer marknaden.Teorin inleds med en beskrivning av internationella marknadsföringsstrategier, därefter klargörs varumärkesidentiteten genom bland annat Kapferers teorier. Slutligen i detta tredelade avsnitt presenteras teorier om de faktorer som påverkar varumärkesidentiteten vid en lansering på en ny marknad. I empirin redogörs resultatet av djupintervjuerna vi genomfört med respektive fallföretag.Studien visar att varumärkesidentiteten är beroende av en anpassning till den nya marknaden där kulturen är den vikigastefaktorn. Brasilianska företag bör anpassa sin varumärkesidentitet efter Skandinaviens kultur som då skulle leda till en hybridstrategi av identiteten mellan brasilianska kärnvärden och värden som är viktiga för den skandinaviska konsumenten exempelvis modernitet ochexklusivitet..

This essay seeks to explore which country´s laws should be applied when a dispute concerning damages in non-contractual obligations arises från illegal copying. In Europe today we have merely a few documented laws regarding choice of law concerning illegal copying. Thus, a proposition regarding a regulation which shall control the choice of laws applied on disputes in non-contractual obligations has been prepared. Another main reason for the existence of such a regulation is the need for a united set of laws to enable recognition of other countries´ judgments in Europe. This proposal will be called the Rome II-regulation.

The subordinate data were collected before the interview occasion, this because to develop the interview questions.Conclusion: The authors has come to a conclusion that larger the closed company is, the more of them will keep audit.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att studera hur tevereklam till kvinnor och till män kan beskrivas. Vi ville uppnå syftet genom att undersöka hur ett företag arbetar med att utforma tevereklam till kvinnor och män: vilka mål samt fördelar och nackdelar de har med tevereklam, hur tevereklam utformas, hur traditionella könsroller eventuellt påverkar utformningen samt om lagar och egenåtgärder har någon påverkan på innehållet i tevereklam. För att uppnå detta syfte gjorde vi en fallstudie på RoxxEmotion Film & Television, ett mindre företag som är en del av Roxx Communication Group AB. Vi utförde en telefonintervju med en av de två personer som ansvarar för tevereklamfilm på företaget. Slutsatser från denna fallstudie visar att det är vanligt att rikta tevereklam till ett visst kön men att tillvägagångssätt vid utformning av tevereklam samt mål, fördelar och nackdelar med tevereklam är lika för reklam till både kvinnor och män.

The authors have chosen to write aboutIAS 40 where the accounting treatment for investment property and related disclosurerequirements are regulated.The purpose of this thesis is to investigate potential effects of valuation of investmentproperty at fair market value for real estate companies at times when market price decreasesand to investigate what an acceptable difference for the valuation could be.To fulfil this purpose the authors have chosen a qualitative method interviewing accountants,property analysts and a credit analyst to obtain a deeper understanding of the problem. Basedata for the thesis have been collected during meetings, telephone interviews and e-mails.Additional data was collected from public available sources such as the internet, relevantprofessional magazines and professional newsletters. The authors have designed a modelshowing how Income and Balance Sheet statements are influenced by changed valuation ofinvestment property.

This is a study of American Methodist Mission in Sweden and how this mission eventually formed the Methodist Church in Sweden 1876. The mission began as a consequence of returning Swedish emigrants and sailors who had encountered Methodism in America, mainly through the works of Swedish-American missionary Olof Gustaf Hedström on the Bethel ship in New York. During the 1850?s Methodist missionaries were sent to Scandinavia by the American Missions Society. The first to come to Sweden was Johan Peter Larsson, who spent two years in Sweden in 1854 before he was transferred to Norway.

Future emission legislation puts great emphasis on increasing the efficiency of the engine, thereby reducing fuel consumption. The tribological contact between cylinder liner and piston ring is where an great amount of energy is lost due to friction, and by reducing these losses an reduction in fuel consumption can be achieved.The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the tested piston ring coatings against a plasma sprayed cylinder liner and rank these combinations of materials for friction and wear resistance. The coatings that were tested was Cr + Al2O3, (Al,Cr)N, two types of CrN and WC / C.The experimental tests were performed with a so-called pin-plate, where used oil with addition of an acidic mixture of sulfuric and nitric acid to mimic the acidic condensate formed when exhausts recirculate, were added with a continuous flow. The results were then analyzed by weighing, studies by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and profile measurements.The results from each material combination were that the plasma coated cylinder liner wears too aggressively in order to yield a ranking of the piston ring coatings based on the parameters of friction and wear resistance. It is therefore proposed that an alternative coating on the cylinder liner should be developed, lacking the large abrasive wear on piston rings and that can withstand the corrosive environment resulting in engines equipped with EGR.
