In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

As an increasingly rationalized forestry and agriculture have human interference in the form of tradition, grazing and use declined. There is a strong link between biodiversity and disturbance of the landscape. In sandy soils many insects and plants require exposed sand to survive while the disorder may contribute to seed dispersal in the woodlands. On behalf of O-Ringen Skåne 2014, a study of the interference from orienteering in sandy soil and the forest during competitions conducted. The aim is to clarify the interference of which orienteering runners contributes, through to inventory presence before and after the competitions in the bottom and field layer in three locations.

During the past years fire has been identified as an important factor for nature conservation in the forest landscape. To accurately quantify the size of a burnt area is obviously important, but also to quantify the degree of fire damage to the tree canopy. Such data are important for assessing the conservation value, and to support planning and management of the burned area in the future. I have examined how to estimate the status of tree crowns after fire from interpretation of aerial photographs. This is possible because fire changes the structure of tree crowns and this influences the colours in aerial photographs by spectral reflection. Included in the study are four areas, three of which burned in 2005 and one in 2006.

AbstractIn this essay, I have chosen to examine how four teachers in a work unit think and work with linguistic development and strategies, particularly in grade 4-6. The teaching profession has gradually become more like a cooperative profession. Therefore it is in a general pedagogic interest, to know, how each one of the teachers in the work unit, are thinking about linguistic development, teaching profiles and the significances of a work unit to achieve their aims to provide for all the individuals in their classrooms. My intention was to find out if a homogeneous work unit or a heterogeneous work unit is to prefer in work with linguistic development, which initially made me focus and realise the importance of each one of my informants? answers.

Introduction: Two women die every hour due to pregnancy and childbirth relatedcomplications in Bangladesh. It is well known that a strong midwifery profession is the key toachieving safer childbirth and it is the right of every woman to have access to a fully trainedmidwife and to a safe delivery. However this is not the case in Bangladesh. Today, theexisting nurse-midwives are not fully utilized for the midwifery services. The profession ismal-distributed, functioning as multi-purpose service provider and are not recognized as aseparate cadre of midwives.

Vallentuna municipality in Stockholm County, is planning to develop a management plan for a forest area owned by the municipality. The property is an urban forest and the hiking trail Roslagsleden runs through it. Hence the municipality intends to take extra care of the outdoor recreation interests, as well as forest biodiversity, but at the same time use the area for forestry. This study discusses how these three interests, recreation, biodiversity and forestry, differ in their views of how a forest should be managed, where they disagree and how they can coexist in the management of this area. In this study, a vegetation mapping of the area and an assessment of the forest?s conservation values was carried out.

The purpose of this study is to survey which competences and personal qualities the labour market, for students with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University, require. Furthermore I want to find out if the employees, videlicet the ex students, consider that their competences differentiate in relation to other employees in the organization which not have this education.In the study a qualitative investigation method has been used where ten interviews have been implemented. The interviews have been carried out within five conceivable work areas to a student with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University. The work areas are sports association, sports union, municipal activity with sport and leisure time connection, company with health care connection and company without any kind of sport connection. Five of the persons being interviewed are ex students that now are employees within any of the elected work areas.

Sjuksköterskestudenter som gör utlandspraktik i ett utvecklingsland erfar upplevelser som påverkar studentens framtida profession, internationella perspektiv, personliga och intellektuella utveckling. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskestudenters upplevelser av att göra utlandspraktik i ett utvecklingsland som Sri Lanka. Metod: En kvalitativ empirisk studie genomfördes som grundades på subjektiva dagboksanteckningar i berättelseform. Datainsamlingen har analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Bakgrund: Kommunikationen har en grundläggande betydelse för allt omvårdnadsarbete med patienter, men blir ännu viktigare när det rör människor som vårdas palliativt. Vårdpersonalen ska ge korrekt information till patient och samtidigt kunna lyssna på patienten och tyda patientens individuella sätt att kommunicera genom verbal och icke verbal kommunikation. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa kommunikationen i mötet vid palliativ vård. Metoden: Studien utfördes som en litteraturstudie. Författarna valde att analysera nio vetenskapliga artiklar, där alla valda innehöll området kommunikation.

Studiens syfte är att ge en aktuell bild av arbetslivssituationen för de första examinerade socialpedagogerna från Högskolan Västs distansförlagda utbildnings-program i Hultsfred och Västervik. Studien belyser också hur de före detta studenterna ser på sin utbildning och på det socialpedagogiska kunskapsområdet kopplat till sin yrkesroll. Tre centrala teoretiska begrepp, kunskap, verktyg och förhållningssätt, utgör fokus och ställs i relation till socialpedagogik som profession, kunskapsområde och praxisfält. Studien har en kombinerad kvantitativ och kvalitativ ansats, med enkäter till den grupp om totalt 39 studenter som avslutade sin utbildning vid årsskiftet 2006/2007. Frågor med fasta svarsalternativ har kompletterats med öppna frågor av berättande karaktär, kring uppfattning om utbildningens relevans för yrkeslivet och studenternas tankar kring socialpedagogik som profession och yrkesroll.

AIM: To investigate  newly graduated nurses opinions on their introduction and preceptorship at Akademiska Sjukhuset in Uppsala. METHOD: A descriptive cross-sectional study using qualitative and quantitative evaluations. Data was collected by a questionnaire containing open and closed questions. The plants in the genus Elatine are characteristic for oligo and mesotrophic lakes. This study focuses on Elatine hexandra one of the four species in Sweden. Unauthorized changes in listed buildings and environments occur all around Sweden. The main purpose of this thesis is to examine how these forms of transgressions have been and are being handled in some Swedish county administrations. What do legislation within conservation of heritage expresses when transgressions occur? How do county administrations interpret and apply legislation to actual situations? What methods do county administrations make use of to prevent unauthorized changes?16 out of Sweden´s 21 county administrations have been studied and used as an empirical basis. This basis has led to a general conclusion of the county administrations experiences and working processes when handling unauthorized changes in listed buildings.
