This essay considers the new prison in Kalmar, which was built 1852 and replaced the former prison in the castle of Kalmar. In the forts the conditions were awful and the interms lived together in large rooms. With the new reform that took place in Sweden, with the so-called Philadelphiasystem, the concept was to isolate the prisoner one by one in smaller rooms. Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskans arbete präglas av såväl lagar och förodningar men också av värdegrunder och etiska koder vilket medför ett stort moraliskt ansvar. Samvete beskrivs som en grundläggande förmåga att skilja mellan rätt och fel, och att vara i konflikt med samvetet kan innebära att förlora sin identitet och värdighet. Äldre människor på särskilt boende eller som har hemtjänst anser inte att de får tillräckligt bra tillgång till vård, samtidigt som vårdarbete med äldre präglas av underbemanning och låg moral.Syfte: Belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelser av samvetsstress i vårdandet av äldre.Metod: I litteraturöversikten har 15 artiklar analyserats. Utifrån dessa har tre kategorier framkommit vilka är utlösande faktorer och orsaker till samvetsstress, sjuksköterskors upplevelser av samvetssress framkallar samt sjuksköterskors sätt att hantera samvetsstress.Resultat: I studien framträdde flertalet faktorer som orsakar samvetsstress bland sjuksköterskor, däribland onödigt patientlidande och yttre krav. Samvetsstress väckte känslor så som otillräcklighet, maktlöshet och dåligt samvete.

Based on an analysis of the Swedish laws in the field of healthcare, the purpose of this essay in jurisprudence is to examine whether Sweden has a need to implement the new EU-resolution on abortion. The study is based upon legal sources such as official government reports (SOU) as well as words of an Act. The subject also deals with ethical standards and more community-oriented material, and texts from both these areas are also included. The Swedish laws in health care are extensive, but still put the patient first. Care givers are able to delegate their responsibility if it means good health care which is also a key word in the Swedish health care.

The purpose of this study was to examine the problematic and frustrating aspects of parenthood in the modern runaway world of today. In other words, we wanted to study how parents in Sweden experienced their life as parents in the beginning of the 21th century.We wanted to find answers to the following questions:What kind of problems do parents experience and how do they deal with these problems?What would parents consider to be typical for them as parents compared to how they remember their own parents?What do parents think about family politics?Do parents think they need parent education?If parents want parent education, why do they want it?To answer these questions we used qualitative interviews. With this method we got information from six parents and five professional parent educators who was kind enough to let us interview them. We also gathered information about the subject through literature and news articles.The result of the study can be divided into three parts.

När individen upplever stress i samband med att inte kunna agera i enlighet med sitt samvete uppstår samvetsstress. Denna stress är vanligt förekommande hos sjuksköterskor. Om stressen blir långvarig kan den övergå till kronisk stress, vilket kan ge allvarliga konsekvenser. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva när och hur sjuksköterskan upplever samvetsstress. Metoden var litteraturstudie som innefattade tio kvalitativa studier samt en kvantitativ studie som svarade på studiens syfte.

A study was conducted to investigate the new and frequently discussed concept curling parents. There were no previous studies of curling parenting, and therefore traditional classifications of parenting (Baumrind, 1967, 1980; Maccoby & Martin, 1983) have been used for comparison. Parents (N=140) born between 1959 and 1981 participated. They completed questionnaires to establish their level of curling behaviour. The high Cronbach's alfa confirmed coherence in the curlingcriteria, which implied that curling parents exists as a group.The results confirmed our hypothesis that participants exhibiting high levels of curling behaviour were permissive in their parenting style, had a bad Conscience concerning their parenting and wished for more time with their children.
