Human rights have been added to the new curriculum which came into force the 1st of July 2011 in the Swedish Upper Secondary school. The purpose with this master thesis is to compare the old and the new curriculum as part of an examination of what way they affect the Social Science education. Further the analysis focus on what is affecting discourses in the Social Science about human rights, as well as its communication and incorporation in its education. The empirical material consists of the schools steering documents and interviews with Social Science teachers. The theoretical framework is based on human rights education (HRE) and curriculum theory.

The Swedish social insurance agency provides financial support for families and children, but also for people with work injury, illness and at old age. During 2012 they saw the amount of notifications of insurance increasing in Sweden, which is a development that cost our society a great deal of money. With the aim to pursue a sustainable development I have therefore devoted this project to wellness and stress management within preschool.The employees of preschool are often dealing with a lot of stress, due to the big groups of children that causes high noise and sound levels. The high noise and sound levels is a contributor to stress which additionally can damage the health and cause impaired hearing loss. About half of the people around their forties until the age of retirement have difficulties understanding speech in large groups.The purpose of this project has been to investigate the causes of negative stress for my target group, women between 30-60 years old who works in preschool.

In this study, some aspects of communication that are creating problems in a chosen forest conservation case are explored. Focus is on how the manager of a forest experience how he is treated during a formal decision of conservation. The paper also gives introduction to communication theory as well as to present forest policies in Sweden. Explanations of the most common concepts and terms in forest conservation is presented and such a understanding is necessary if the reader is to acquire enlightment from the material and the following discussion. This paper focus on a Conflict between the county administrative board, a Swedish regional authority, and a private forest-manager. This is a case where the manager feels that the authority is forcing a sale of land, because the forest is being turned into a conservation area. The problems are not just economical, the manager feels mistreated and left out of the discussion, and the negotiation is long and problematic as shown in the interview and the case study. In the study, an in-depth interview is made with the manager of the forest, and a case study has been made based on the documents in the case attained from the county administrative board.

This study is about children that have been forced to flee to another country, due to Conflict, poverty or natural disasters, without their families. They are known as unaccompanied refugee children. The aim of the study is to, by focusing on individual children's feelings and experiences of being forced to flee create greater knowledge and understanding of what is hidden behind some of the statistic of migration.To answer the aim of the study, I used the following research questions: How is a child affected by being forced to leave home and to flee to a foreign country? How does an unaccompanied refugee child perceive the exodus? How do the unaccompanied refugee children handle their situation during the flight and at arrival in Sweden?The study is based on a qualitative method and consists in semi-structured interviews with five unaccompanied refugee children aged 17 to 21. The theoretical framework is based on three theoretical concepts; refugee crisis, identity and coping.The study results show that these children are a very vulnerable group, who were forced to be exposed to several losses and traumas.

This bachelor thesis is a critical study in which we are studying if the swedish reports of the so called ?second revolution? in Egypt have been objective. We have been studying this by using Jörgen Westerståhls objectivity model and we have chosen to investigate whether the reports have been objective balance-wise. The second revolution is a term which describes the protests and demonstrations that led to the military action in which the elected president Muhammad Mursi were forced to resign on the 4th of July, 2013The study includes articles from five leading Swedish newspapers, Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Göteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet. We have been studying all the articles that include the word ?Egypt?.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka om yngre skolbarns konfliktbeteende förändras samt om de är medvetna om sitt eget beteende i en konflikt. Vi har studerat konfliktbeteendet genom att intervjua elever och pedagoger.

AimThe aim of this study is to investigate who can be considered to be the owner of the broadcasting rights on sport events in Sweden. Furthermore our aim is to investigate how the owners can protect their rights.The reason why we are interested in this subject is that there is no legislation in this field. There is no legislation on who the owner is and there are no arena rights that protect the broadcasting rights. We have studied case law and legislation in other countries and tried to apply it to Swedish conditions. We have posed the following questions:Who owns the broadcasting rights on sport events in Sweden?What legal protection does the owners of the broadcasting rights have for their rights?MethodThe study is based on literature studies and interviews.

An inquiry into the post-war European aesthetic and political landscape should take the international organization Unesco?s colour reproductions and travelling exhibitions of paintings into consideration. In these, the organization implements André Malraux? idea of the ?imaginary museum? as a framework for a future cosmopolitical, aesthetic (and utopian) community. During the late 1940?s, the Swedish government also discusses the need for raising an ?aesthetic awareness? amongst their citizens as a consequence to a poor knowledge in the fine arts.

Med fokus på Sveriges insats i Afghanistan som är en asymmetrisk konflikt där konventionella stridskrafter möter en motståndare som består av talibaner och kriminella med medel och metoder som skiljer sig från en reguljär motståndare. Problemet som kan uppstå är att motståndaren gömmer sig bland civila och förmågan till precisionsbekämpning av mål samt informationsinhämtning för att identifiera motståndare från civila blir viktigt.Syftet med uppsatsen är att se hur funktionen nyttjas i Sverige av erfarna truppförare och trupputbildare som har stor erfarenhet av prickskyttefunktionen för att sedan jämföra med insatsen i Afghanistan, FS19, och försöka se möjligheter till utveckling av funktionen vid internationell insats.Metoden kommer vara en jämförande fallstudie av prickskyttefunktionen i Sverige och Afghanistan. Med inriktning mot fyra ämnesområden (psykologisk effekt, risker, funktion och organisation) kommer en enkät att besvaras av chefer från FS19 och Arméns Jägarbataljon.Resultatet från studien är att prickskyttefunktionen nyttjades väldigt sällan på FS19. Den främsta orsaken till att den inte nyttjades var de ökade riskerna detta medförde samt att cheferna på FS19 föredrog att nyttja dem som skarpskyttar.Slutsatserna efter genomförd undersökning är att för att prickskytten skall nyttjas enligt definitionen måste befattning utvecklas i utlandsstyrkan och befattning måste övas, både för att öva prickskytten själv men också för att chef ska få förtroende för skytten och vilken effekt denne kan uppnå. Vidare måste förmågan till Personnel Recovery öka vilket ger cheferna större möjlighet att nyttja funktionen, förutsatt att befattning är övad och anses duglig..

The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations Conflict with each other.

The title, ?You simply must own your classroom?, is taken from a quote from one of my informants.After review of earlier research on how teachers handle their leadership in the meeting with disturbing pupils and which strategies they use to solve problems in the classroom, interesting questions developed. What experiences do teachers have of disturbing situations in the classroom? Which strategies do they use to solve the problems? What kind of support do the teachers consider necessary in teaching? Are there any differences in teachers? experiences and strategies between the two selected schools? The study is supported by earlier research that deals with pupils? and teachers? perspective and strategies in different classroom cultures in terms of norm-breaking behaviour of pupils. The study is also supported by three different theoretical perspectives such as power structure, social order/disorder and support strategies.I conducted the study through interviews with sex teachers who work in the same municipality but in two separate schools.

This paper attempts to display how five teachers of social studies use and relate to the policy documents and their instructions on gender. To penetrate the subject, five teachers were intreviewed. Each interview focused on how the curriculum attempts to guide teachers regarding gender, sex differences and equality of opportunity. The collected information was processed, analyzed and discussed using gender studies and discourse theory.The results show that the interpretation and usage of the curriculum is very subjective and varies greatly between all the interviewed teachers. Their personal interpretation proves to be crucial when it comes to making reality of the stated goals in the curriculum, concerning actively working towards equality of opportunity between sexes.

Syfte och frågeställningar Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur en halvdags fysiskt aktiv teambuildingaktivitet påverkade ett arbetsteam.1. Kan effektiviteten och samarbetet hos ett team förbättras av en fysiskt aktiv teambuilding-aktivitet?2. Kan den upplevda känslan av krav och kontroll förbättras av en fysiskt aktiv teambuilding-aktivitet?3. Kan kommunikationen inom ett team förbättras av en fysiskt aktiv teambuilding-aktivitet?4. Kan konflikterna hos ett team minska av en fysiskt aktiv teambuilding-aktivitet?Metod Denna studie var en kvantitativ interventionsstudie där både interventions- och kontrollgruppen fick fylla i enkäter med två veckors mellanrum. Deltagarna var från två säljföretag i Stockholmsområdet. Interventionsgruppen bestod av 17 personer och kontrollgruppen av sex. Interventionen som genomfördes var en fysiskt aktiv sådan som pågick under en eftermiddag. Enkäten innehöll bakgrundsfrågor (ålder, kön, tid på företaget, osv.) och frågor om hur de tillfrågade upplevde kommunikationen, konflikterna, samarbetet, effektiviteten och krav respektive kontroll i sin arbetsgrupp.
