In Eskilstuna, thehandball is very popular but there are only three grounds that meet the standards of the dimensions ofa handball pitch, 40x20 meters. The same dimensions are used by floorball. Eskilstuna municipalityowns one of these, the other two is privately built and owned and the municipality rents time in thehalls.IF Guif and HK Eskil are two handballclubs in the central part of Eskilstuna.

In this paper an upper level compulsory school is examined from a gender perspective. The purpose of the paper is to analyse how girls and boys acquire space in the classroom (during a Swedish lesson) and in the sports hall (during a lesson in physical education). To fullfil the purpose of this paper a seventh grade class was observed during a lesson in Swedish as well as in sports. In addition to this on pupil was interviewed. In this paper the results are compared to and measured against results from earlier research in the field. Used as a theoretical basis are Simone de Beauvoir?s theories on gender.The results attained indicate that girls and boys claims space in different ways during time in the classroom as well as in the sports hall.

Badminton är en inomhussport som människor i alla åldrar och på alla nivåer kan utöva. Ju högre nivå sporten utövas på ju mer krav ställs på belysningen. I många badmintonhallar används idag armaturer som bidrar till bländning och som inte ger en god synkomfort. Badminton är världens snabbaste racketsport vilket gör att kraven på belysningen är hög. Utan tillräckliga riktlinjer gällande belysningsanläggningens utformning som ska säkerställa en god belysning för spelarna kan det bli svårt för dessa att hinna uppfatta fjäderbollen, då spelet går väldigt snabbt och mycket rörelser sker på badmintonplanen.Syftet är att öka förståelsen för vilka faktorer som är viktiga att ta hänsyn till vid planering av ny belysning i badmintonhallar.Metoderna som användes i studien var observationer, ljusmätningar, intervjuer och enkätundersökningar.

And this with steel as thematerial. The purpose with this essay is to investigate which is the most well fitted materialwhen constructing an industrial- or hall building wood, steel or concrete. Information aboutthe different materials has been collected by litterateurs and by different internet pages.

I denna uppsats använder jag Johannes Anyurus diktsamling Städerna inuti Hall, i en sociologisk diskussion kring samtiden. Min teoretiska utgångspunkt ligger i Anthony Giddens texter kring det senmoderna samhället.  Med syftet att se hur Giddens och Anyurus resonemang kring samtidsindividen skiljer sig åt, samt att utreda om, och hur, sociologin kan lära av poesin, ställer jag frågan: Hur kan senmoderniteten , så som Giddens diskuterar den, spåras i Anyurus Städerna inuti Hall? För att besvara min fråga definierar jag först vad Giddens menar att senmoderniteten innebär, för att sedan visa på några specifika sätt som han menar att senmoderniteten påverkar individen. Därefter skapar jag ett verktyg för att söka senmoderniteten, så som Giddens beskriver den, i poesin.  Jag finner på en strukturell nivå att det finns stora likheter mellan de två, men på individnivå diskuterar Anyuru och Giddens skilda samhällen. Dess perspektiv och världssyn skiljer sig på flera punkter betänkligt.
