The avowed aim in this project was to see how the Swedish egg production is today. My first question was if the Swedish egg producers egg production turn a profit. I have done five after calculation at five different egg producers with different systems from case to case. The difference has been the living system, the fodder and the egg price. They made a report in Uppsala, Sweden (Hoffman & Andersson, 1996), where the look forward to a Swedish cage ban and made calculations after that coming ban. After that they lift the Swedish ban of cages and the egg producers could invest in new cages who called the decorated cage.

Background: Inter-organisational ways of working have become more and more common during the last decades. In order to attain efficiency and productivity, such inter-organisational relationships need to be governed and controlled. However, studies have shown that inadequate control is one of the main reasons for why inter-organisational relationships fail. One of the means that can be used for governing and controlling a business is management control. The use of management control in inter-organisational contexts is a quite unexplored area of research at the present time, which might seem somewhat surprising considering the fact that inadequate control is a common explanation for why inter-organisational relationships fail.

To challenge the competition within the construction business there are requirements ineffectiveness and use of operating computer based programs and work-methods. Thecomputer based programs are continuously improved and can at some point be the start of anew work-method. The work-method of tomorrow can be Building Information Modeling(BIM).This Master of Science Thesis gives an understanding in what BIM is and what therequirements for Sweco Theorells are in a future BIM-use as a consulting-firm. Theunderstanding is presented through a study of theory within the subject. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine how children interact with each other and what social positions they assume when using the learning pad. The social positions reffered to is the Owner, the Participant and the Spectator, defined by Ljung Djärf (2004). According to Ljung Djärf (2004), the Owner is defined as the one in control of the mouse and keyboard. The Owner is expected to be in charge of what is happening on the screen. The Participant is typically found on a chair near the computer.

I have done a comparative gender study of Library of Congress Classification from 1900 and 2001. I have also used a hermeneutic method and ideological critics to find out what picture of women the both systems shows. In my comparative study of the both systems I have found low update of classes which relates to women in the new classification system. Men seem to be a norm in the system, because men are not defined in classes related to both men and women. But many classes related to women are named Women as and Women in The study also shows that women are more related to subjects about family and marriage than men are.

Relationship between social behaviour, feeding behaviour and performance of boars using single-space feeders A study on the behavioural patterns of growing boars is presented. The study was preformed at Quality Genetics? boar testing station Månseryd in Sweden. The boars were purebred Yorkshire, Hampshire or Landrace, born in nine different nucleus farms. The study is based on two batches of boars, with 63 and 69 boars respectively.

The choice of harvest date for leys is one of the most important factors affecting the size and quality of the harvest. An early harvest gives a high nutritive value while a late harvest gives larger quantity. Today?s aim to produce high nutritive leys gives early harvest dates both in primary growth and regrowth in northern part of Sweden. The consequence is a growth in the autumn, a "third harvest".The aim of this master thesis was to study the effects of different harvesting systems and their effect on size, feed quality, wintering and economy for conditions in the northern part of Sweden.

Användandet av trådlösa nätverk ökar med rask takt och blir allt vanligare. Enligt en artikel i Computer Sweden kommer de trådlösa näten att ha 20 miljoner användare om 4 år. Analysföretaget Gartner Group har nyligen gjort en undersökning bland företag, vars syfte var att ta reda på hur stort intresset var för WLAN. Resultatet visade att 50% av företagen funderar på att köpa och installera WLAN-lösningar (Planet Wireless september 2001). Syftet med detta arbete var att beskriva hur den inbyggda krypteringsfunktionen WEP som för Wired Equivalent Privacy fungerar och hur säker den är, dvs hur lätt man kan knäcka krypteringen. Följande frågeställningar har besvarats genom litteraturstudier och ett praktiskt försök: Hur är trådlösa nät uppbyggda? Hur fungerar den inbyggda krypteringen WEP och hur säker är den? Ipendo Systems in Linköping, Sweden, is a small IT consulting firm developing among other things custom portal applications based on Microsoft Sharepoint 2010. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether the test tools TestComplete and LoadComplete provide sufficient compatibility for functional and non-functional testing of Ipendo Systems? Sharepoint based applications, as well as design testing related activities to be incorporated into their existing software development framework. A test process maturity framework was chosen and applied for the design of the testing activities, while the test tool investigation resulted in guidelines on how to apply the tools effectively and circumvent any issues discovered..

Development and accuracy tests of advanced exchange trading systems require well adjusted tools for testing. Aptness of these tools are probable to have a major impact on identification of bugs and verification of new functionality. Till sin hjälp i dessa faser har man metoder/processer och modelleringsspråk. Varje företag har i regel haft sin egen variant av ovan nämnda, men allteftersom kom kravet på en gemensam standard att bli oundvikligt. Sedan ett antal år tillbaka finns nu en standard. Trots det finns det säkert företag kvar som ännu inte antagit denna standard.

Användandet, eller frånvaron, av öppen källkodsprogramvaror inom offentlig sektor är något som på senare tid har diskuterats flitigt både i artiklar och i internetanslutna diskussionsforum. Den offentliga sektorns behov av investeringar i nya IT-system kommer dessutom att öka i och med realiseringen av Statskontorets vision om 24-timmarsmyndigheten. Detta examensarbete undersöker hur välbekant begreppet öppen källkod är, vilka attityder som finns mot begreppet och hur stor utbredningen av öppen källkodsprogramvaror är hos Sveriges kommuner. Av resultatet framkommer att 60 % av alla IT-chefer och motsvarande i kommunerna känner till begreppet väl, att 80 % av alla tillfrågade upplever öppen källkod som något positivt och att drygt 30 % av alla kommuner redan använder någon form av programvara baserad på öppen källkod. De viktigaste fördelarna med öppen källkodsprogramvaror är den låga kostnaden, tillgången till all källkod och att man snabbt kan få del av andras förbättringar. I flera länder i både Europa och Asien, såväl som Sydamerika förekommer rekommendationer, eller åtminstone diskussioner, om hur öppen källkod bäst kan användas för att stödja den offentliga sektorn i respektive länder. This study examines the cultural place and status of video and computer games in the Swedish public library. Using works on popular culture and the theories of Pierre Bourdieu, this study employs quantitative methods, as well as textual analysis, to analyze the results of an online questionnaire with 19 questions focusing on selection criteria, shelf placement, perceived competence, as well as reasoning for having or not having these games in the library. 286 out of the 440 libraries contacted is participating in the study, and the libraries consist exclusively of public libraries in Sweden that are found in the database of the Royal Library.The results of this study show that a larger number of libraries than previously indicated have started to provide electronic games to their patrons. At the same time, patterns in the data and comments suggests that these games in many cases still do not enjoy the same level of cultural recognition as other media. Indicative of this is the way most libraries seem to focus on the medium being exclusively for their young patrons, with seem-ingly very little in the way of investment for adults.
