Fyller de lagliga graffitiväggarna i Västerås och Norberg sitt syfte som brottsförebyggande föremål?
För att förebygga klotterbrott upprättade Västerås år 2012 och Norberg år 2002 varsin laglig graffitivägg. Denna studie undersöker med hjälp av klotterbrottsstatistik huruvida en minskning i antal anmälda klotterbrott har skett i kommunerna efter att väggarna upprättades. Datan har analyserats genom Z-tester. Västerås har delats in i tre områden med olika avstånd till väggen. Indelningen har gjorts då hypotesen i denna uppsats är att det har skett en minskning i antal anmälda klotterbrott i Område 2 och Område 3.

The term ?vulnerable areas? is developed by the Swedish police, referring to various areas in Sweden that are classified as socioeconomically disadvantaged, and with an active criminal presence. Over time, this term has gained significant popularity and is now used not only by the police but also by other entities such as the media, where these areas are often depicted as urban outcasts. Therefore, this study focuses on the portrayal of ?vulnerable areas? in the Swedish news media, where the topic has been widely debated in recent years.
IKT i undervisningen : En studie kring innehåll och visioner utifrån ett lärarperspektiv
The concept of IT has developed into ICT (Information- and Communication Technology) over the years. ICT has an increasing impact in society and the Swedish curriculum (Lpo 94) highlights the importance of school to convey lasting knowledge that constitutes the general frame of reference that everyone in society is in need of. The purpose of this study was to find out how teachers perceive and use ICT in secondary school and discover the teachers? vision concerning ICT.The used approach for the study is a qualitative research with a basis of interviews. Four interviews are made with teachers from the early years of secondary school, at two different schools.
CU2 - Design av ett PDA-baserat diskussionverktyg med ljud/bildkommunikation
I detta arbete framlägger vi ett designförslag på hur ett diskussionsverktyg
som stödjer ljud- och bildkommunikation kan se ut. Ett förslag som förbättrar
och förenklar den distanskommunikation som idag sker med hjälp av
mobiltelefoner, videokonferenssystem samt webbkameror anslutna till
persondatorer. Den design vi föreslår möjliggör för mobila användare att
visuellt föra flerpartssamtal med hjälp av PDA:er. Vårt designförslag har fått
arbetsnamnet CU2 (see you too) och är tänkt att fungera i tredje och/eller
fjärde generationens mobila nät.
Vi har valt att genomföra vårt magisterarbete på företaget A Brand New World i

Normer, presentation och självrepresentation : En kvalitativ studie om unga kvinnor som bloggar
In this paper we examine how young women present themselves on their weblogs. The main purpose of this study is to get their own opinions and thoughts about their own blogging, to see if we can find norms for how they present themselves and how the presentation online matches themselves offline. We put this in relation to information technologies, social software and Computer mediated communication, CMC. It´s also in our interest to see how the phenomenon of blogs, its role and methods of communication have changed and developed in the last few years, and whether there are differences in the way people use it according to age. The major finding is that, unlike previous research, the women in our study tend to be themselves in their weblogs and they do not manipulate their identities.
Vad anser du vara en verklighet? : Kan en virtuell värld vara en verklighet?
Contents:The evolution of today?s computer influenced society has taken giant steps towards virtual reality, game addictions and the possibility of not having to meet the people we communicate with. What is a reality today?To give a more concrete image of our question we?ve chosen the online game World of Warcraft as an example and to describe our connection to an alternative reality. We have performed different investigations, interviewed both gamers and non gamers, all this to give us the opportunity to see if the term reality has started to change in a direction that will allow us to call this alternative world a reality, or if it?s just a world wide phenomena of for example gaming addiction.

With its many features and great flexibility, the smartphone has stormed the business world and become an alternative or complement to the laptop. As these mobile units' popularity has increased, the interest of businesses to invest in this new technology has increased, but has security kept up with the technology developments?This study aims to conduct a study to see if the companies in the IT industry have the same safety awareness for smart phones to laptops.The study shows that companies have greater safety awareness and higher safety requirements for laptops than smartphones. Word. Utvecklingen inom Flextronics WE, Karlskrona är stor. Många datasystem
används på företaget inom olika avdelningar lokalt men även i Europa, och ingen
gemensam ruin för hanteringen av systemdokument finns.
Helpdesken på Flextronics servar hela Karlskrona och västra Europa på deras
datasystem och nätverk.
Vår uppgift är att ta fram en kravspecifikation för hantering av
systemdokumentationen. För att helpdesken skall kunna utnyttja denna
information krävs att informationen lagras på ett enkelt och överskådligt sätt
där man lätt kan söka uppgifter. Lösningen skall vara Web-baserad så att alla
användare skall kunna utnyttja informationen både internt och externt via

Some people do not have the opportunity to visit a physical exhibition because of limited time or long travelling distances, it is here the need for a web-based exhibition arises.This dissertation describes the development of an interactive web-site representing a part of a physical exhibition of over 200 interviews on different peoples immigration to inner Scandinavia. The interviews contain text, audio clip, pictures and video clip.The website contains modern programming technologies such as HTML5, ASP.NET MVC3, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.A cover of the technologies used and how the project has been designed and implemented is explained in the dissertation. In the end of the dissertation we discuss about how the result of the project follows the goals we set up in the start phase. The result of this project is an interactive and easy to use web-site showing a part of the physical exhibition online. The company Sound Precision has developed a new Line Array loudspeaker system (VHA-40). When using this system, their customers need computer aid to get the best possible sound-quality and control of sound levels for the whole audience. The aim of this thesis is to develop a truly useful sound quality simulator for the VHA-40. The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

Utvecklande AI - En studie i hur man skapar ett system för lärande AI
AI är något som blir allt viktigare inom dagens spel och får allt högre krav på
att agera mänskligt och intelligent. Detta kandidatarbete undersöker vilken
metod som är att föredra för att skapa en AI som kan lära sig av sina tidigare
erfarenheter. Några av de metoder som undersöks är trädstrukturer, Artificial
Neural Network och GoCap. Genom att skapa en applikation med en av metoderna
samt göra en undersökning på hur AI:n i applikationen upplevdes fick vi
resultat om denna metod var användbar. Utifrån detta diskuteras det ifall andra
metoder hade varit mer effektiva, hur man hade kunnat förbättra AI:n samt hur
framtiden för spel-AI skulle kunna se ut..

Women today feel that their urban surroundings are unsafe, and because of that they use different strategies to reduce the risk of being exposed to criminal acts towards them. The focus of this study is to develop an understanding of the insecure feeling that women feel and what that feeling might originate from. By using previous research and theories we have been able to incorporate a gender perspective on the study this because the gender role is central to understand women?s feelings of insecurity. The purpose of the study was to develop a deeper understanding of women?s sense of safety and insecurity.The central questions of the study are1.

This study was aimed to examine what happened when a municipality in Sweden invested in ICT. The purpose of this study was also to find out how the change of process with ICT investment was expressed the need for more knowledge. This was called ?one-to-one? with the goal that all students would have their own computer during their years in school.Teachers have been interviewed and observed about how they work with ipads during reading and writing lessons. The teachers in this study said that they need more knowledge to improve their everyday work with ipads.
