With the huge amount of computers connected to the Internet the IP-addresses are starting to run out. The Internet Engineering Task Force, IETF, have decided that it is about time to exchange the old 32 bits Internet protocol, Ipv4, to a more modern 128 bits protocol called Ipv6. This thesis explores the possibility to install Ipv6 in different operating systems. By testing various operating systems and by set up criteria compare them to each other we give the reader a picture of how the installation is done. We also show which operating systems to prefer if you want to use IPv6.

Målet med denna rapport är att studera informationssäkerheten på ett företag i den svenska mediebranschen. Att upprätthålla en bra informationssäkerhet är särskilt viktigt för ett medieföretag, då de dagligen hanterar källskyddat material. För att komma över känslig information utfördes penetrationstester genom social-engineering och datautvinning. Resultaten av dessa tester visade att det var relativt enkelt för en angripare att få de anställda att ge ifrån sig lösenord till företagets interna nätverk och VPN-klienter. Datautvinningen visade även att i princip all information gick att utvinna eller återskapa från företagets datorer eftersom man inte använde någon form av kryptering.

The main reason for doing this kind ofproject was to find out if it was possible to make a relatively advanced application with user friendly tools. We tested the software MIT App Inventor, and the ability to create a useful application for people who wants to get an overview of their energy intake.During the process we found out that it was possible, but minor setbacks occurred. The main idea of our vision; to make a calculator and a registry with different kinds of food and their amount of calories, was completed quite easily. Later on, design alternatives and more advanced functions were not possible for us to make.This might have been because of the short amount of time the project was given, but also, and more likely, because the software did not contain that kind of advanced functions. Rapporten beskriver ett examensarbete som utförts som en avslutning på Civilingenjörsprogrammet inom maskinteknik med inriktningen konstruktion på Luleå tekniska universitet, LTU. Examensarbetet utfördes i samarbete med Jama Mining Machines AB av Johan Forslund, delvis på plats i Skelleftehamn och delvis på LTU. Målet är att öka hållfastheten på två av Jama Mining Machines komponenter som återfinns i bommen på skrotaren SBU 8000 med rotator. Detta genom att ändra de specifika komponenternas konstruktion. En grundläggande nulägesanalys av de befintliga komponenterna genomförs för att identifiera vilka förbättringar som är nödvändiga till den nya designen.

Computer and videogames has increased rapidly over the past few decades and today a majority of the Swedish population enjoys them on a daily basis. When there are many users, it becomes important how the media chooses to portray the medium because it can affect how the society judges and looks at computer- and videogames.The purpose of this essay is to look at how the portrayal of computer- and videogames has changed in Swedish Newspapers during the period 1994-2014. How the player is being portrayed is also relevant. The method was the discourse analysis founded by Laclau andMouffe and the material was chosen from the two biggest newspapers in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. Theories that were used in the analysis were mainly framing, cultural studies, moral panics and theories based on gender.The result shows that there has been different kinds of portrayals of computer- and videogames from the beginning, though it was mostly negative in 1994 and 2004.

A computer model based on minimization of the free energy, capable to predict contact angles and spreading transitions between Wenzel and Cassie mode for drops placed on surfaces with different topography were implemented in matlab. Simulations were compared with experiments documented in the literature. These showed that reported transitions between Cassie and Wenzel mode can be explained by minimization of the free energy. Scania CV is one of the world's largest truck manufacturer. It is not only the directproduction of vehicles and methods that are important for Scania but also the servicemarket handling spare parts, repairs and workshops. The department Vehicle ServiceInformation construct standard times through work measurement for particularworks in the workshops. The software application STAM is used in the servicemarket to create and store standard times which then are exported to theworkshops' own systems.The purpose of this master thesis is to analyse and evaluate the internal workmeasurement system that includes standard times and the software STAM. Also,based on external analysis and benchmarking of other systems suggest appropriatefuture development within the area for Scania Vehicle Service Information.In order to perform the investigation, interviews and studies have been doneinternally at the departments that are involved in work measurement as well asexternally at Scania workshops.

I ett samhälle där upphovsrätten och immaterialrätten blir allt mer uppmärksammad är det viktigt för företag att vara medvetna om sitt innehav av licenser för mjukvaror. I detta arbete kommer företags medvetenhet om deras licenshanteringssituation att undersökas. I den här rapporten kommer problemställningen att undersökas med hjälp av intervjuer med företag. Dessa intervjuer kommer att ske via telefon och per e-post. Ett liknande arbete har tidigare inte gjorts och därför känns det relevant samt intressant att göra denna undersökning.Arbetet resulterade i intervjusvar från 11 företag.

Bakgrund: Ett antal nya idéer har blivit introducerade i ekonomistyrningen på senare tid och mycket har skett inom Business Intelligence (BI). BI har dock mest funnits som del av ett större system eller eget system som implementeras till företag på plats. Konceptet att istället hyra olika IT-lösningar, så kallade SaaS-lösningar (software as a service), blir allt mer populärt inom affärsvärlden och kan minska företagens börda när det gäller installation, konfigurering, underhåll och andra inneboende projektriskfaktorer.Frågeställning: Vad innebär fenomenet SaaS BI och hur ser spridningen ut?Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva Business Intelligence som hyrtjänst, samt studera hur detta sprids och anammas av marknaden i Sverige.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod för att samla in djupgående data till studien.Resultat och slutsatser: Studien visar att SaaS BI är en innovation. Spridningen av SaaS BI på den svenska marknaden är begränsad och spridningen sker i dagsläget främst från utbudssidan, alltså förespråkare av innovationen.

The eld of Brain-computer interfaces (BCI) concerns linking together an external device with the brain of a human or an animal. By doing this the conventional use of a mouse or keyboard can be circumvented, which can greatly benefit people with different types of diseases that cause paralysis or other loss of motor control, such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A BCI can also be used for cognitive training of either healthy or mentally impaired subjects to increase cognitive capabilities.In this thesis an implementation of an interface is made against such a device, the Emotiv EPOC Headset. The result is meant to be a stable basis for further study using the device. An in-depth study of the history of EEG and its current use in clinical work and research in the topics of BCI as well as Human-computer interaction (HCI) is presented.
