AbstractThis report is made in cooperation with the municipality of Vasteras and technical committeestaff. The report addresses several topics that affect fuel stations in Vasteras. The reportcontains two parts, first is a inventory that review all stations in the area to be addressed. Theinventory is made with consideration to various things that geographic situation, whatcompanies are represented and what level of service stations have. And the second part of thereport, is done with the analysis of how it looks in daily situations review.

Strandskyddsproblematiken är startskottet för detta examensarbete. Det är en problematik som har sitt ursprung i strandskyddslagen, en lag som funnits i Sverige sedan 1950-talet. Lagen har alltsedan dess uppkomst väckt en rad känslor, den är både omdiskuterad och omstridd. På senare år har diskussionen om strandskydd blommat upp på nytt, det i takt med att kraven på strandnära boende har ökat samt att lagen har tolkats olika. Det har resulterat i att lagen idag står inför en förändring.

The failure of Structural Adjustment Programs and its neoliberal policies to effectively reduce poverty have led to the creation of Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) by The World Bank and International Monetary Fund. PRSP, connected to both the Comprehensive Development Strategy and the HIPC initiative, are built on the notion of national ownership and stakeholder participation and thereby expand potential conditionality to include matters of governance. This thesis examines the evolution of PRSP and how the process of participation affects national governance structures. By analyzing the role of rules and norms within the World Bank and IMF from a historical point of view the thesis explains why the participation process has developed the way it has. It concludes that neoliberal norms, still at heart within the World Bank and IMF, have an impact on the process of participation within nation states and thereby its governance structure.

The overall purpose of this essay is to study in which degree the democratic model that is called participant democracy works in the Swedish municipalities. To achieve what I set out to do I will focus on a central political area in which the Swedish municipalities has sovereignty versus the state, in other words in an area where they rule themselves. That political area will then represent how well the participant democracy works in the Swedish municipalities. The research questions then becomes:Does the participant democracy at Swedish Municipality level work in a satisfying way?Does the participant democracy in a large Swedish Municipality in a central political area work?Does the participant democracy in a small Swedish Municipality in a central political area work?Are there similarities and differences between the municipalities?If so, how can that be explained?To answer these questions I will study documents regarding the planning and building area.

I takt med att besökare och patienter ökar måste kontinuerligt Östra sjukhuset verksamhet utvecklas. Detta medför omläggningar i trafiken och förflyttningar av verksamheter. Idag finns flertalet brister kring Östra sjukhusets fysiska planering som behöver ses över, dessa är bland annat trafikflöden, säkerhetsaspekter och parkeringsmöjligheter.Rapporten redogör för förändringar i den fysiska planeringen som förbättrar dess utformning. Genom studier av relevant litteratur och diskussioner med expertis har förslag av problemområden tagits fram. Dessa har sedan bedömts efter listor av deras respektive för- och nackdelar som kunnat urskiljas.Arbetet visar framtagandet av ett väl fungerande förslag som kan verka som en bas för idéer till nutida och framtida förändringar kring den fysiska planeringen.

Den strategiska planeringen har kommit att fa? allt sto?rre fa?ste inom den svenska planeringen, och den nya PBL fra?n 2011 betonar att o?versiktsplanen ska inta en mer strategisk roll. I detta har visionen som verktyg kommit att va?xa och bli ett allt vanligare element i o?versiktsplanerna. Begreppet vision kan tyckas ha blivit trendigt.

Based on the concept of rhetorical situation, the purpose of this study is to compare and describe the three Socialist leader's May Day speech from the years 1954, 1978 and 2011. The results of the analysis showed that there is a big difference in how the leaders chooses to appeal to the rhetorical audience. Erlander, 1954, never appealed directly to his audience which Palme, 1978, did both initially as repeatedly throughout his speech. Juholt, 2011, has a personal and frequent appeal which is repeated throughout his speech, which is interpreted as a sign of the intimization of the public language. It proved difficult to discuss the Socialist rhetoric as one unified form.

Samrådet i detaljplaneprocessen är det lagstadgade tillfället för medborgarna att påverka planprocessen. Samrådet syftar till att "? få fram ett så bra beslutsunderlag som möjligt och att ge möjlighet till insyn och påverkan" (PBL 5 kap 12§). Det pågår idag en debatt om hur detaljplaneprocessen kan effektivisera och samrådets nytta ifrågasätts då det finns en föreställning om att medborgardeltagandet är tidskrävande. Dels genom att medborgarnas reella påverkan ifrågasätts och dels genom medborgarnas överklaganden. Examensarbetets syfte är att studera om samrådet påverkar beslutsunderlaget i detaljplaneprocessen och utgår från den övergripande frågeställningen: Påverkar samrådet beslutsunderlaget för detaljplanen? Yttrandena och synpunkterna i samrådet ska på något sätt tillgodoses för att räknas till att påverka beslutsunderlaget. Undersökningen tar avstamp i en genomgång av den enskildes roll i planlagstiftningen och planeringsteorier i avsnittet Planlagstiftningen ? en tillbakablick.

Jag har valt att studera fyra olika samtida sa?tt att fa?nga upp ma?nskliga fo?rva?ntningar i staden. Jag studerar varje angrepps- sa?tt genom att utfo?ra litteraturstudier, studera ett exempel och intervjua en person. Syftet a?r att fo?ra en diskussion. De fyra angreppssa?tten a?r inte en definition av ?Stadsplanering med fokus pa? ma?nniskan? utan fyra nedslag i en diskussion kring hur man kan fo?regripa ma?nskliga fo?rva?ntningar inom a?mnet fysisk planering.

This study has been about the representation of the Swedish tourism company Swanson?s. They do trips in US and every year they do a brochure with many pictures. The objective of my study is to look how pictures help to constructs places. Its often problem with pictures because sometimes they are constructs.

ABSTRACTPurpose/aim: The aim of this essay is to make a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of net dating, both among those who have dated on the internet and among those who haven?t tried it at all. Key questions to be answered are what attitudes are associated with net dating? How do the attitudes differ between those who have tried compared to those who haven?t? What kind of positive and negative aspects is there with net dating? Are there any prejudices against net dating and ? if so, what kind of prejudices? How does the future look for net dating?Material/method: Qualitative method with eight interviews divided into two groups depending weather the person has tried net dating or not.Main results: The study shows that net dating is a phenomenon that will continue to grow and attract more users. The most significant result from the interviews are the different prejudices that are articulated.

Trough a literature study based on both philosophic and objective fact this essay is taking off in the meaning of public space. It investigates how the information society and its virtual world are affecting the idea and use of public space in the city. The city and the actual world have developed from the traditional meeting between people while the virtual world is based on flows of information. The information flow has expanded through the Information and Communication Technique (ICT). ICT covers among others Internet, mobile phones and computers.

Abstrakt Under vårt kandidatarbete arbetade vi under 20 veckor med att utveckla ett webbaserat spel riktat mot Facebook. Vi använde Agile/Scrum som projektmetod för vårt arbete och förändrade metoden och utvecklade verkyg för att effektivisera den för vårt syfte. Vi kom fram till att det är svårt att göra ett socialt spel och att det viktigaste i produktionen är att se till att det finns en tydlig koppling mellan spelarnas interaktion med varandra och den grundläggande spelmekaniken. Vi tappade fokus under utvecklingen och lärde oss den hårda vägen vikten av att planera realistiskt och börja ifrån grunden när man utvecklar ett spel. Spelet vi skapade använder sig av slumpässigt genererad terräng, är skrivet i JavaScript och utspelar sig i en viktoriansk miljö. Nyckelord: Facebook, spelutveckling, webbutveckling, internet, sociala spel Abstract During our bachelor thesis we worked for 20 weeks with the development of a web-based game for Facebook. We used Agile/Scrum as our project planning method, changed the method to make it more effective for our purpose and developed tools for the method. We came to the conclusion that it's hard to make a social game and that the most important thing in the production is to make sure that there's a clear connection between the players' interaction with each other and the foundations of the game mechanics. We lost focus during the development and learned the hard way the value of planning realistically and to start from the core when developing a game. The game we created uses a random generated terrain, is written in JavaScript and takes place in a Victorian environment. Background: Fibromyalgia is a disease wich involve cronic pain and fatigue. The disease has appeared for a long time, but it has resently become possible to diagnose. It is still unclear what cause the disease, and the treatment of it is therefore still diffuse. The lack of knowledge leads to a lot of discussions and the diagnosis is questioned. Purpose: To study how patients with fibromyalgia experineces the attitudes from staff in hospitals and health centers.
