This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how novices set about when they search for information. Marchionini's information-seeking model is the theoretical starting point, which is supplemented by theories of other specialists within the field, such as Chowdhury; Harter; Large, Tedd and Hartley. As method a questionnaire survey was used. The questionnaire was sent to 96 students at IHM Business School in Gothenburg and 57 questionnaires were returned. The results show among other things that the majority of the students used highly interactive search strategies, and they did not plan their search before they carried out the search.

If guidance counselors are to do as good a job as possible, they need to have as much comprehensive information as possible when it comes to possible career paths for their clients. To get on the way to get this information I, in this study, examined how musicians - specifically flute players career paths could seem. I examen this by doing five interviewees. This study is for guidance counselors, so they hade a more solid foundation to stand on, but also for aspiring musicians to get new perspectives to consider when faced with career choices.The study is conducted through five interviews with professionals flutists; Agneta, Harry, Jenny, Eva and Pepita who all work or have recently worked as professional musicians or teachers. With professional musician, I mean the ones in one way or another is or has been employed musicians and also is in the same or higher level in terms of their music ability than those who are employed.

IntroduktionKvinnor som bär på hemofilianlaget har inte tidigare uppmärksammats i någon större grad avsjukvården. När kvinnan har fött ett barn med hemofili har hon tät kontakt medKoagulationscentrum och är själv djupt involverad i barnets behandling. Då det finns mycket begränsat med kvalitativa studier om den anlagsbärande kvinnans situation är det av betydelseatt sådan forskning genomförs. När större förståelse för kvinnans erfarenheter och hennes livssituation uppnåtts finns möjlighet att kvalitetssäkra vården till de anlagsbärande kvinnorna. Utifrån resultatet som kan komma fram av studien hoppas författaren att det skallfinnas underlag för att i framtiden strukturera upp patientundervisning, bemötande och stödtill de anlagsbärande kvinnorna.

During the past few years an increased attention has been paid to environmental issues in the construction and property sector in Sweden. In order to simplify the work with these issues a Swedish environmental certification system for buildings called Miljöbyggnad has been developed. This thesis aims to investigate the opinion of a selected number of selected property owners of Miljöbyggnad. From that basis recommendations and actions for the future work with the system will be presented.The investigation has been conducted through personal interviews with five property owners. The main issues that the interviews have been based on are their purpose, experiences, perceived complications and future prospects in terms of certification using Miljöbyggnad.The system intends to be cost-effective, simple and to offer a relevant environmental assessment of buildings and the result from the report indicates that this is largely fulfilled.

The level of help and support given to elderly people over the age of 65 has been regulated by two separate laws; 1-the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) and 2- Act of Social Services (SoL). Recent changes in the legislation could cause local authorities to deal with these issues in different ways. The aim of this study was to examine and evaluate possible differences in the level of support for the elderly, dependant on which of the two laws was used in the decision process.The questions raised in this paper are· What are the major differences in the purposes of the two legislations?· How will the decisions be influenced dependant on what law is used? Do the decisionmakers identify the difference between the quality levels "good" and "fair"?· How is the process of care organised and managed within each of these legislations and how is the personnel used?· Are there differences in quality regarding freedom of choice, your own right to decide, influence, comprehensive view and continuity in the efforts given?· What development can you see in these fields of care.As a method I have used a case study involving four big cities in Scania. The most interesting and essential knowledge in the study was obtained from qualitative interviews with eleven decision-makers in the four communities.The result of this study indicates that there are more similarities than differences in the purposes of these laws.

This final project includes an analysis and a programme proposal for the area Bergsbrunna södra. The area is situated along the railway between Uppsala ? Stockholm, just south of Uppsala city. A new railway station is planned here, which make the area attractive as residential area. There are several values to take into consideration when developing an area. An extensive analysis and valuation may define and protect different characters and values, and also find the places most suitable to build upon. The area consists of three separate characters of landscape: the wide open cultivated fields, the hilly wooden ground and the more varying little valley. There are visual, cultural, social and ecological values to preserve. The south part of the area is woods with high natural values that borders to a national park in the natural forest of Lunsen.

This is a report on the development and implementation of the web shop ?Urballa Ur?, a web application developed by nine students at Linköping university. The report illustrates the methodology and process with intention to answer the question ?How can an online watch store be implemented to increase sales??. During the process the agile method scrum has been used as a working method.

The normative guidelines are then also summarized, and a compari­son is made between this summary and the actual guidelines for SVT.Main results: Although a comprehensive definition is hard to find within the theoretical frame­work, a summary of the theoretical ideal is carried out.

Genom vårt arbete om miljöbrottslighet har vi visat på de problem och svårigheter som uppträder vid utredningar om miljöbrottslighet. Detta har vi gjort genom att intervjua åklagare, poliser samt representanter ifrån tillsynsmyndigheterna som är aktiva på fältet, samt satt oss in i litteratur som är inriktad på miljöbrottslighet. Vi har inom miljölagstiftningen huvudsakligen hållit oss i Miljöbalkens 29, 30 kapitel. Denna miljöbalk togs i bruk år 1999 och har drastiskt påverkat brottsstatistiken inom miljöbrottslighetens område. Anmälda brott mot miljöbalken har dubblerats både i Örebro och på ett nationellt plan.

Every year, the horse industry in Sweden is growing. Because of this growth, it wouldbe most beneficial for the people involved in the agricultural business in Sweden toimprove their horse skills.I have assembled a form that includes basic guidelines for professional horse care.History tells us that Swedish horses have had a huge impact on the agricultural business.Before the arrival of the tractor, the horse played a very important role for the farmer.Today, horses are kept primarily for pleasure, mostly as a hobby for non-professionalpeople. In Sweden, we are seeing the small horse farms become more and morepopular, which is keeping the countryside open and alive.I feel it is very important to improve the knowledge among farmers and others who willwork in close proximity to horses. This will enable us to raise the standard of care ofhorses today and reduce the number of people who market themselves as professionalhorse specialists, even though they have no education or experience in the fieldIn this essay you will find information about the most common horse breeds in Sweden,including basic anatomy of the horse, feeding directions, hoof and dental care, commondiseases and their treatment. The pupose of this study is to qualitatively study how teachers at a high school work with the schools demokratic mission under the management by objectives and what the policy document says and how the students can partcipate in different issues. My question fomulations are: What does it say in the governing documents about schools democratic mission and student influence? How do teachers concretely work to implement the values of democracy and student influence? How can the class councils used as part of the school's democratic mission? The theoretical frame of the study is about the school democracy mission and the possibilities and limits.  Futhermore a brief review of the fundamental values of the school are presented, followed by how the democratic process works.I used the qualitative analysis in order to find a lot of information about a small amount. Its strength is to convey a lot of information about a small number of observations and if the material is small in size.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att genom intervjuer och en fenomenografisk ansats kartlägga unga vuxnas uppfattningar av begreppet världens undergång, samt belysa de olika etiska förhållningssätt och livsåskådningar som diskuteras i denna kontext. Undersökningen baseras på nio kvalitativa, semistrukturerade intervjuer med unga vuxna i åldern 18-25 som levt större delen av sitt liv i Sverige, går eller har gått i svensk skola, ser sig som tillhörande en av de abrahamitiska religionerna judendom, islam eller kristendom, eller är socialt präglad av någon av dessa. Intervjuerna genomfördes hösten 2013. Intervjupersonerna har kontaktats och valts ut främst på skillnader i kön, social bakgrund och utbildningsbakgrund. Intervjuerna har blivit analyserade utifrån en fenomenografisk ansats.

In Sweden plans to build high speed railways have been around since the early 1990s and the planshave developed to be more precised since. The future Swedish high-speed rail network is supposedto consist of two lines. Götalandsbanan; from Stockholm to Gothenburg, and Europabanan fromJönköping through the Öresund Region to Hamburg.The description of the aim to build high-speed railways in Sweden has in former reports always beento achieve rapid passenger traffic between big Scandinavian cities and Europe. There are almostnothing mentioned about the possibilities of high-speed transports of cargo on these railways. Thisstudy aims to clarify the freight transport market for Götalandsbanan and Europabanan.Today there is only one transport system with high-speed freight trains.

Den här studien utgår ifrån en intervjuundersökning med förskolebarn i en kommun i Mellansverige utförd efter Skolinspektionens besök i kommunens förskolor och med utgångspunkt från en av de åtgärdspunkter förskolorna fick att arbeta med efter inspektionen. Den åtgärdspunkt som föranledde intervjuundersökningen handlade om att få ett underlag till den plan mot kränkande behandling och diskriminering som varje enhet inom skolväsendet skall upprätta årligen. Underlaget skulle bestå i att förskolebarnen var delaktiga i den process som föregick upprättandet av denna plan. Den del av studien som avhandlas i detta arbete utgick ifrån intervjuerna som utfördes på en av dessa förskolor. De viktigaste frågorna i denna studie var att undersöka om förskolebarnen upplevde sig vara inneslutna i eller uteslutna från lek med andra barn och om de upplevde sig vara utsatta för någon form av kränkande behandling på någon plats i den pedagogiska miljön samt om de ansåg sig ha något inflytande över sin vardag på förskolan.
