Most companies and organizations today depend on technology connected to the Internet. Schools and offices have therefore been providing computers, phones and other technology to the employees. The recent technological development and decline in prices for technology have contributed to making these products a part of everyday life for most people. This has made it very common for employees and students to bring their own devices into school and workplaces.The aim of this study is to define what "Bring your own device" means for Swedish companies and organizations and how it has been implemented in those. The aim is not mainly to generalize to all Swedish companies but create an understanding how the trend is used to provide a basis for continued research in this area.

Idag finns vetenskaplig evidens för att livsstilsförändringar kan sänka blodtrycket hos patienter med hypertoni. Rekommendationer vid behandling av hypertoni är i första hand hälsosamma livsstilsförändringar. Syftet var att belysa faktorer som påverkade patienters följsamhet till livsstilsförändringar vid hypertoni. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie. Databearbetning gjordes utifrån 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Syftet med föreliggande beskrivande litteraturstudie var att beskriva och sammanställa bidragande faktorer som påverkar patientens följsamhet till de egenvårdsråd som ges av sjuksköterskan gällande bensårsbehandlingen. Syftet var även att sammanställa vilken kvalitet inkluderade artiklar hade samt vilken relevans urvalet hade för inkluderade artiklars resultat. Artikelsökningen ägde rum i databaserna PubMed och Chinal, sökorden som användes var ?leg ulcer?, ?Compliance? och ?nursing?. Resultatet baserades på tio artiklar där fyra artiklar hade hög kvalitet, fem artiklar hade medel kvalitet och en artikel hade låg kvalitet.

The purpose of this work was to investigate the adherence to basic hygiene routines among staff and to investigate if there is any difference between the adherences in diverse professions. The purpose was also to study how staff rates their own adherence to current guidelines. Data for the study were collected through observations and questionnaires. Altogether 35 people were observed and 15 answered the questionnaire. Maximum adherence was found in the category of "hand disinfection after patient contact" with a score of 96%.

Aim: To examine director?s experiences of the process to implement smoke-free working hours and also their need of support to make it feasible in the municipality of Östhammar. Method: A qualitative interview study with a descriptive design was used. Semi-structured interviews were made with six directors who were selected from different levels, localities and administrations in the municipality of Östhammar. A qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the data.Results: Many positive aspects were pointed out regarding the implementation of smoke-free working hours.

Tuberkulos (tbc) är en luftburen droppsmitta orsakad av mykobakterium tuberkulosis. Tbc är den sjukdom som efter AIDS orsakar flest dödsfall, trots att botande behandling finns. Behandlingen är krävande för den tbc-smittade att genomgå och bygger på en kombination av en rad antibiotika som måste intas under minst sex månader. Ett avvikande i behandlingen kan resultera i att mykobakterium tuberkulosis blir resistent mot de ordinerade antibiotika. Följsamhet av långtidsbehandlingar som tbc-behandling graderas till 50 %.

Migrationen ökar, vilket gör att allt fler idag talar ett annat språk än majoritetsspråket i det land där de befinner sig. Det ställer krav på samhällets institutioner, såsom hälso- och sjukvård. Enligt svensk lag ska vård ges på lika villkor till alla invånare vilket kräver stort engagemang inom vården. Centralt i hälso- och sjukvård är vårdmötet mellan vårdgivare och patient. Vårdmötet kräver en god kommunikation och att patienten är delaktig.

This study aims to investigate, describe and discuss the views of a group of adolescents on their identity and the process of second language acquisition. They all came to Sweden and started studying in Swedish schools in the last three years without any knowledge of the Swedish language.The study has been conducted with respect to the adolescents own perspectives and what they consider important.The methods used are group discussions/ interviews, observations in class and informal discussions with teachers and adolescents.Their voices are described and discussed in this paper. One must take into consideration that there is no objective of being neutral or to generalize the results to any other group or category. On the contrary the study has involved critical self- scrutiny and active reflexivity according to ethnographic tradition.Symbolic interaction has provided a theoretical framework for the study. Looking into how social identities may be constructed or communicated from the adolescents voices and looking in to their use of language the study reveals that several expectations and situations need? to be met by different identities.

From July 2005 on, the new Swedish Corporate Governance Code will be applied gradually by companies listed on the stock exchange or any authorized financial market in Sweden. The Code has been drawn up in order to clarify and to improve the self-regulation in Swedish companies. The need for codified self-regulation standards has been considered as urgent due to negative trends on the market such as the last few years? corporate scandals in domestic and international trade and industry. The sought-after consequence is to clarify the mission framework for corporate directors.Ch.

This had a major impact when child labor and very poor working conditions in these factories were discovered and led many companies to take responsibility for their suppliers and the employees by adopting voluntary so-called Codes of Conduct.There is a subtle balance to enforce improvement of working conditions for employees at suppliers´ factories and to keep costs down. On the one hand, companies would like to conduct extensive audits at their suppliers to ensure code of conduct Compliance and thus protect their legitimacy. On the other hand, audits are expensive so companies would like to minimize audits to keep costs down. Companies thus have to strike a delicate balance in relation to how many and what suppliers they choose to audit.

Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att beskriva orsaker till undernäring hos äldre patienter med höftfraktur i det postoperativa skedet, samt vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan användas för att förebygga undernäring. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt och artiklarna söktes via databaserna PubMed och CINAHL. 15 artiklar hittades och ligger till grund för resultatet. 14 av dessa var av kvantitativ ansats och en var kvalitativ. Resultat: Orsaker till undernäring postoperativt hos höftopererade äldre patienter var att inte kunna äta, aptitlöshet, bristande kommunikation och låg Compliance.

AimThe aim of this study was to investigate and describe qualified nurses? worries related to handling chemotherapeutic drugs, further is the aim to explore if the nurses comply with the guidelines at a haematological ward. MethodThe cross-sectional study uses a descriptive design and a quantitative approach to analyze nurses? worries at a haematological ward. The data has been collected through questionnaires which were handed out to 42 nurses at the haematological ward. The questionnaires included 17 questions that were designed by the authors of this study, and 32 nurses returned the questionnaire. ResultsThe majority of the nurses declared that they handle chemotherapeutic drugs once or more a week. The results of the study show that the nurses´ comply with the available guidelines are relatively good.

This paper discusses animal welfare, and Sweden, as an EU member state, has a responsibility toensure that official animal welfare inspections are carried out in accordance with communityregulations. The first of January 2009, the welfare moved from the municipalities in to the 21county administrative boards. This restructuring was made due to the deficiencies that the auditconducted by the EU of the FVO (Food and Veterinary Office) 2003 found in the Swedishsystem. Sweden failed in coordination and inspection to ensure animal welfare.The aim of this examination paper is to shed light on animal welfare work operated in the countyof Halland and in Sweden in general. The paper focuses on a few questions.

Bakgrund: Ortokeratologi är en teknik där man genom specialdesignade RGP-linser kan reducera eller helt eliminera låg och måttlig myopi och även låggradig hyperopi och astigmatism. Man sover med linserna under natten, tar ut dem på morgonen och kan sedan gå utan glasögon och kontaktlinser hela dagen med bra visus. I denna studie tas en del fakta upp om hur ortokeratologi fungerar och på vilka tekniken fungerar.Syfte: Syftet vara att ta reda på mera om ortokeratologi då detta är en teknik på framfart. Även att jämföra undertecknads prövotid med redan gjorda studier.Metod: I studien jämfördes en försöksperson med tidigare gjorda studier, försökspersonen använde ortokeratologilinser under 45 dagar och mätningar som togs och jämfördes var k-värde (corneas kurvatur) och fri visus (synskärpa). Mätningarna utfördes dag 1, 3, 7 och 14, sedan togs visus 1 gång i veckan för att kontrollera att den hölls stabil.Resultat: visade att samtliga studier hade ungefär samma resultat där nästan alla försökspersoner fick bra visus under behandlingen.
