Studien undersöker hur psykoterapeuter påverkas av sitt arbete med traumatiserade patienter. Sju psykoterapeuter på tre traumamottagningar har i denna studie varit föremål för kvalitativa intervjuer. I mötet med det otänkbara exponeras psykoterapeuterna för närgångna berättelser som ofta är mycket detaljerade beskrivningar om mänsklig grymhet, råhet och ondska. Variationer i arbetsuppgifter på traumamottagningen, egen handledning och egen existentiell bearbetning är några exempel på hur psykoterapeuterna hanterar det material de exponeras för i patienternas berättelser. I intervjuerna framkom att det kliniska arbetet påverkade det egna livet utanför arbetet.

This paper exposes the problems and challenges organizations face when integrating aged systems, web based systems and web services. The paper focuses on how people with different titles in an organization experience systems integration and the factors that contribute to project failure or success. The research methodology used in this is Grounded Theory and the resulting theory of this paper has taken form through the coding of transcribed interviews, which have gone through a constant comparing to other theories in the area of interest, mostly articles about success factors in system integration. The resulting outcome is a success model aimed to describe the underlying indicators to achieve project success.The success model consists of three factors that contribute to success in integration projects. The factors are: globalization, governance and balance.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain why states obtain nuclear weapons and the role variousactors and interests play in the making of states´ nuclear policies. The main questions are asfollows: (1) What big theories exist concerning states obtaining nuclear weapon and nucleararmament in International Relations and what relevance do they have of the post cold-war period?,(2) What is the meaning of the perspective of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC)?, and (3)Arethere empirical studies which supports the existence of a MIC in the United States?The focus lies on actors and driving forces that are internal to states and it is also important toinvestigate if the theories have relevance for the post 9/11-era. The study uses the method ofqualitative literature-study with some quantitative segments. It is claimed that states might beinterested in justifying their behaviour in a morally appealing way and that real reasons may behidden.

Traumaomhändertagande gjordes där fokus var på den medicinska och tekniska aspekten på vården, vilket innebar att patienters behov av omvårdnad inte alltid prioriterades. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa erfarenheter vid traumaomhändertagande på akutmottagningen. En kunskapsöversikt gjordes och artiklar söktes i databaser och manuellt. I resultatet framkom tre områden: att vara i ett kaos, att bli beroende och att få stöd från närstående. Patienters minne kunde vara påverkat.

The aim of this qualitative study was to get a deeper understanding of social workers experience that children who participate in the Trappan-insatsen get a sense of coherence. To achieve an empirical material social workers who perform Trappan-samtal have been interviewed. The study shows that it is important that children get help and support to talk about the trauma they experienced. The support of the narrative, however, differ depending on the child's age, it is important to have a flexible approach as a Trappan-user. It appears that it is essential that parents give their consent to the children so they can talk about the violence.

This rapport aims to examine the difficulties in presenting a complex game in a way that will invite new players by making the game more accessible. We discuss and present our process on how to create an application named ?Digi?-war that is easy and fast to, both, learn and use. Our solution to this issue includes RFID-tags and readers together with four buttons, as input devices. In my degree project I have focused on how to make it easier for ambulance personnel to remove a motorcycle helmet after an accident. During my research I have interviewed ambulance personnel from different cities and a trauma surgeon to get a better understanding of how they work today and the problems they experience. Some of the problem areas are that you need a lot of force to remove the helmet, that the padding catches the ears and that the chin guard catches the face. Since ambulance personnel always assume that there is a neck injury after an accident, all these problems make it difficult to remove the helmet safely.The result is a motorcycle helmet with a focus on safe removal after an accident, to reduce the risk of worsening a neck injury. The solution suggested is that a small part of the back of the helmet is detachable, to make the opening larger.

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att undersöka hur vuxna överlevare från sexuella övergrepp i barndomen hanterar sia erfareneheter och läker effekterna av traumat. Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med fem informanter. De huvudsakliga slutsatserna av materialanalysen är följande: Relationen till make eller annan partner har större positivt inflyttande på läkningsprocessen än relationen till terapeut eller internetbaserade relationer till andra överlevare. Överlevare kan under läkningsprocessen finna en positiv mening i förmågor de tillägnat sig för att överleva traumat. I läkningsprocessen kan överlevare ändra sina grundantaganden i positiv riktning.

This paper aims to investigate the embalming process and the Balanites aegyptiaca from two pottery originated in ancient Egypt. The two objects were from Medelhavsmuseet in Stockholm. Samples were collected and analyzed with Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR) and Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry to identify which components the samples contained. The results show complex mixtures mainly consisting of resin origin from Pinaceae and the vegetable oils from the Balanites aegyptiaca..

This thesis discusses the global regime complex concerning the management of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, and how different regimes concerning these resources cooperate or stand in opposition to each other. Because of changes in US patent law and the establishment of TRIPS, patent claims over plant genetic resources has increased dramatically globally. This, amongst other things, in turn has lead to the development of CBD which in turn lead to the creation of access and benefit laws in many countries. To create a free flow of genetic resources for food and agriculture the ITPGRFA, with its multilateral system, were negotiated. The aim of this thesis is to investigate which consequences the regime complex concerning plant genetic resources for food and agriculture can have on the rights of small farmers, agricultural research and food security in the global South.

Arbetet har skett på experimentell nivå där fyra olika illusioner har analyserats utifrån sin förmåga att lura det mänskliga ögat och sedan implementerats i fyra olika spel, där illusionerna står för en del i utmaningen.De fyra olika spelens förmåga att dra nytta av sina respektive illusioner är varierande, men fungerande. Alla spelen lyckas lura ögat i någon form, till den grad att det ökar på själva utmaningen i spelen.Framtiden för visuella illusioner i spel ligger förlsagsvis inom ?casual?-marknaden, där mindre och enkla spel för sporadiska spelare finns. This paper is about how the contemporary discourses on the slut in various ways discuss sluttyness, and what consequences these discussions may be for those who see themselves as sluts. The study is based on five electronic interviews, conducted via instant messaging, with five people who consider themselves to be dealing with sluthood and that, according to their own definitions, identify themselves as sluts. My conclusion is that sluttyness, when given the opportunity to be discussed and problematized, visualizes power and normative systems between sluts. This means that sluttyness is more complex than only influenced by patriarchal oppression and hierarchy of femininity, as I show through an intersectional conscious analysis.  .

The purpose of this essay is to outline the aspects of the rule of law that can be applied to credibility assessment in the asylum procedure, and more specifically what factors influence the assessment of credibility in practice. To evaluate this procedure, a multidisciplinary method has been used. Secondary data has been collected from previous academic research and from legal documents such as the Swedish Aliens Act. Since the area of study lacks a reflection on how credibility issues are dealt with in practice, primary research in the form of qualitative interviews has been conducted.Key findings suggest that the Swedish asylum system does offer a fairly inclusive refugee law and rights protection relating to the rule of law. However, the study also suggests that the decision maker's own subjectivity, lack of training relating to trauma and torture victims as well as a rigid system of regulations contribute to credibility assessments being arbitrary and discretionary, in violation of the rule of law..
