Title:Chillchain for cut flowers ? how the distribution works.Author:Anna-Maja Svarén, student at Lund Institute of Technology, mechanical engineering.Supervisors:Annika Olsson, Department of Design Sciences.Bengt Sahlberg, Bioett AB.Problem:How does the distribution of cut flower works regarding temperature, losses, responsibility, Complaints, packaging and weak points?Purpose:The purpose is to map the distribution of cut flowers, with focus on losses in the temperature, from farm to store. The goal is to identify weak points in the chillchain and to se how wrong temperatures affect the flowers. The results can be a help to secure the chillchain.Method:The work started with a problem; map the distribution of cut flowers with focus on temperature losses. Data was collected on the basis of this problem, then analysed, and finally conclusions were drawn.Conclusions:The affect handling and distribution has on a cut flower is very complex.

Effekter av AktiVERA-projektet på långtidssjukskrivna arbetstagare i Bjuvs Kommun

Syfte:Att se om en positiv effekt av ett interventionsprojekt i gruppen långtidssjukskrivna kan påvisas utöver den intuitiva nytta som förutsågs.Undersökt grupp och metod:7 långtidssjukskrivna kvinnor inom vård och omsorg med anställning i Bjuvs Kommun erbjuds ett aktiveringsprojekt kallat AktiVERA. Detta innebar gruppmöten med representation av arbetsgivaren, företagshälsovården och det lokala Försäkringskassekontoret samt friskvårdsinsatser och förväntan om att ta aktiv del i rehabiliteringsprocessen.De 7 fallen matchades med 7 kontroller och de sammanlagt 14 individerna fick i två omgångar besvara enkäterna Subjective Health Complaints (SHC) och Sense of Coherence (SOC) med knappt 6 månaders intervall.Resultat/diskussion:Resultatet av projektet blev inte helt oväntat väsentligen oförändrad grad av arbetsförmåga och utfall i de båda enkäterna Subjective Health Complaints (SHC) och Sense of Coherence (SOC). Någon statistiskt signifikant förändring av enkätufallen som resultat av interventionen kunde inte ses med den använda metoden parad T-test.Detta kan förklaras av att den undersökta gruppen var liten och att observationstiden på knappa 6 månader för förhållanden med lång förändringslatens. Emellertid kan man fortsatt hävda intuitiv nytta av den här typen av intervention hos långtidssjukskrivna. Sammantaget framkom också bekräftande uppgifter om nedsatta salutogena faktorer och vulnerabilitet i gruppen övre medelålders kvinnor med anställning inom vård och omsorg.Slutsats:Någon positiv effekt kunde inte säkert påvisas men intuitiv nytta har säkert förelegat och interventionen som sådan är lovvärd i en grupp där lidandet är stort parallellt med stora samhällsekonomiska konsekvenser.Referens:1.

Ung och stressad : En kvalitativ studie om unga tjejers upplevelser och hantering av skolans krav

A considerable number young of students are suffering from sociopsychological Complaints. The psychological Complaints emerge from differnt sources. Important factors for psychological well being are experiences of a satisfactory social network, efficient coping strategies and a supportive school climate.The aim of this study was to examine how young girls in the age of 16-18 years old experience and cope with demands from school. To fulfill the aim of this study we have five questions: What do the girls apprehend as a satisfactory/unsatisfactory working environment? How do the girls define stress? How do the girls cope with stress? What importance has leisure time? What importance has the social network? The method we used for this study was qualitative and the material was collected through four focus groups.

Kartläggning och förslag till förbättring av projektflödet

Syftet med arbetet är att kartlägga och att finna möjligheter till förbättringar i projektflödet. Arbetet berör de delar av företaget som befinner sig i ett tidigt skede av projektflödet eftersom ändringar i dessa skeden kan göras till en liten kostnad. Informationsinsamling har skett genom fria samtal, dock med vissa förberedda frågor. Information har inhämtats från flera delar av projektflödet så som försäljning, projektledning och konstruktion. Vi har kommit fram till att det är värt att lägga mer resurser på förbättringsarbete och se över ansvarsfördelningen för detta.

Ny princip för spänningsreglering i Fortum Distributions mellanspänningsnät i Stockholm.

The voltage regulation in Fortum Distributions medium voltage network in Stockholm does not work satisfactory. This results in too high distribution voltages with many customer Complaints as a consequence. The reason is the model responsible for compensating for voltage drops in the distribution network. Despite several adjustments Fortum has not been able to find the source of the high voltages and has therefore appointed an investigation in the form of a thesis work.The aim of this investigation is to locate the error and to produce a proposal regarding the solution of this error using the existing system, common industrial knowledge, state of the art research and the option to use voltage readings from the different substations.The conclusion of this master thesis is that the largest contribution to the high voltage levels is made by the large compensation for distribution loses. Furthermore an additional error in the model has been found.

"Allt ska dokumenteras" : - en kvalitativ studie av den ökande dokumentationen inom svensk sjukvård

The main purpose of this essay is to study the role of documentation in Swedish health care today and the consequences of the augmentations in paper work that have taken place during the last couple of decades. The method used in this study is interviews with health care personnel.The following questions are treated:-       What kind of documentation has increased in Swedish health care?-       How is the patient/health care professionals affected?-       How is the work of the health care professionals affected?The conclusion of the essay is that the increasing amount of time spent on documentation that for much part has never been performed before, (such as risk analyses, statistics and writing much more thorough charts), has consequently left very little time for actual patient care. The research also showed that faith in health care professionals has significantly decreased and that one of the major reasons for increased documenting is the anticipation of and therefore protection against potential Complaints. Finally there seems to be a greater focus on being service-minded rather than on providing quality health care..

Ny betygsskala- för elevernas bästa?

This essay is a study of the government bills for a new grading scale in the Swedish schools. There have been many Complaints about the current grading scale and the main problem seems to be that teachers are interpreting the criteria for certificates differently. There are two major challenges for Swedish teachers, one is how to interpret the criteria for certificates, the other one is the equality problem , students can not be sure of that two different teachers would give the same grades. The main point of the essay is to try to find out whether the new grading scale will solve this problem. To my help I have made an analysis of the bills of the Swedish government for the new grading scale.

The purpose of this study was to examine the discourses that can be identified in medias representation of social services. To answer the purpose we made a critical discourse analysis using Faircloughs three-dimensional model. The choice to focus our study on a local newspaper was based on earlier research that found it possible that a local paper has a greater impact on readers than a national newspaper. Readers can more easily connect with what's happening in the immediate environment than what is written nationally. We used articles published in 2013 containing ?social services?.

Arbetsställningars inverkan på muskel- och ledbesvär hos Skånes tandhygienister

The aim of this study was to examine musculoskeletal disorders among dental hygienists inrelation to work postures (sitting, standing, and altering) and to study differences in thegroups regarding numbers of disorders, locations and degrees. A mail questionnaire wasdistributed among 200 dental hygienists in the region of Skåne. The response rate was 79 %.The majority of the dental hygienists were working in a sitting position. Only43 dental hygienists were altering their working position and two were working in a standingposition. The results showed that 85 % of the dental hygienists have experiencedmusculoskeletal disorders in the last 12 months.

En meningsfull möjlighet att säga sin mening? : Petitioner och JO-anmälningar som politiskt deltagande i Tyskland och Sverige

This thesis compares political participation by the public through the Swedish Parliamentary Ombudsman (PO) and the German Petitions Committee of the Bundestag (PC). Through studies of literature and statistics I examine how citizens can participate through the institutions, how frequently they do and the likelihood of sparking a debate while participating.Using media theories as well as theories of participatory and representative democracy I study how citizens can use these institutions for purposes of control and proposition.Both institutions deal with Complaints but the PC also deals with propositions for legislation, making the institution more versatile. The PO deals with more cases than the PC and has more far-reaching competences and areas of inspection, although neither institution has binding decisions. Thus the direct advantage for citizens using the institutions is the chance of reaching out to media and the public through freedom of information laws and the German online petition forum.The PC to a larger extent fits the representative model while the PO in some respects is more a legal than a political institution, being managed by lawyers instead of MPs. Neither institution meets the ideals of participatory politics although the German official petition is closer to it..

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate how an industrial company can increase customer value by offering added services to their core products. Theses added services can be categorized into the three different parts of the buying process. The company that was investigated is Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner in Piteå, a large international industrial company active on a business to business market. We have conducted a case study and made interviews with three respondents within the company. The result of the study show that the company offers value added services in each stage of the buying process.
