The overall aim of this thesis is to examine how Easy-to-Read information, used by governmental agencies, facilitates and limits the field of possibilities for the intended recipient, based on the information.This, in anera of e-government.The theoretical framework is based on two Foucauldian concepts governmentality and discourse analysis. Representatives from five Swedish governmental agencies have been interviewed and the results have been analyzed based on the following questions: (1) How do the representatives construct the category Easy-to-Read? (2) How do these representatives construct the recipients of Easy-to-Read? In order to broaden the understanding of Easy-to-Read, an important national level policy document, containing a summary of strategies and goals for e-government has also been analyzed based on the following questions: (3) How is the e-government constructed in the text? (4) How is the citizen constructed and positioned in the text? The collected material is analyzed using a discourse analysis inspired by Foucault.With the results from the interviews and the analyzis of the policy document, Easy-to-Read information has been discussed and examined as a technology to meet the needs of people with reading difficulties, putin an era of e-government.The findings of the study include the following: (1) The e-government is constructed as a service agency and the citizens are positioned as clients. Furthermore, the citizens are expected to participate digitally and be digitally competent. (2)Some of the representatives does not know, with certainty, to whom the texts are directed or if they are used.

The scarcity of qualified forest machine operators as well as the increased competition for competent machine operators among others from the mining industry in Norrland, were the reasons to investigate what attracts and what deters active and potential forest machine operators to the occupation. An interview study was conducted among four groups with four persons in each group. The groups were students in year 1 and 3 respectively at a forestry school at upper secondary school level as well as employees of a forest company and employees of contractors. The majority of all respondents were of the opinion that their interests in machines had been important for the choice of occupation. But for the active machine operators both the interest in the forest and their interest for machines have had importance for choosing this occupation.

SAMMANFATTNING BAKGRUND Syftet med studien var att få information om anhörigas upplevelse av vården på en av fem geriatriska avdelningar i Uppsala län 2008. Studien undersökte upplevelsen av tillgäng­lighet, delaktig­het, information och bemötande. En jämförelse gjordes för att se om skill­nader fanns mel­lan den studerade avdelningen (grupp 1, n=39) och de tidigare studerade geriatriska avdelning­arna (grupp 2, n=162). METOD Studien är deskriptiv och jämförande med kvantitativ metod och analysen utfördes med deskriptiv statistik. Antal anhöriga som deltog var 39 av 50 tillfrågade (n=78 %).

Bakgrund: Anorexia nervosa innebär för en människa svår viktnedgång, som är en konsekvens av dennes rädsla att gå upp i vikt. Omvårdnaden består till stor del av kontrollerad behandling av de fysiska symtomen, vilket kan resultera i en maktkamp då människor med anorexia nervosa inte inser att de behöver hjälp och inte vill bli friska. Detta utmanar skapandet av en vårdrelation. En fungerande vårdrelation är avgörande för patienters tillfrisknande.Syfte: Att beskriva patienters och sjuksköterskors upplevelser av vårdrelationen i omvårdnaden av anorexia nervosa.Metod: Studien är baserad på en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Informationssökning gjordes via databasen Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, CINAHL.

Att vara med om en amputation innebär ett stort trauma för den enskilde. För att som sjuksköterska kunna ha ett professionellt förhållningssätt gentemot patienten krävs det god självkännedom, empati och kunskap inom området. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att söka kunskap om hur sjuksköterskan på bästa sätt kan stödja, förhålla sig och vårda traumatiskt amputerade patienter. Hur vi som sjuksköterskor på bästa sätt kan lindra lidandet för den drabbade och dennes närstående. De vetenskapliga artiklarna som ingick i studien söktes genom databaserna CINAHL, PubMed och PsycINFO samt framtogs genom personlig kommunikation med docent Hans Granhed, ortopedkliniken SU/ Mölndal.

Introduktion: Forskning kring omvårdnadsteori har ända sedan Florence Nightingales tid varit aktuell. Utvecklingen har resulterat i många olika riktningar. Syfte: I denna uppsats var vi intresserade av att belysa aktuell forskning av omvårdnadsteoretiska strukturer och vilka tillämpningsmöjligheter samt vilka effekter/konsekvenser dessa kan ha för omvårdnadsinnehållet inom perioperativ omvårdnad.Metod: Genomgång gjordes av vetenskapliga artiklar vilka söktes fram i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl tillika relative links samt genom manuell sökning. Metoden för artikelanalys har präglats av den hermeneutiska spiralen. Resultat: Fyra olika kategorier av perioperativ omvårdnadsteoretisk struktur ur tre olika perspektiv utkristalliserades.

AbstractThe aim of the study was to describe district nurses experiences meeting intimate of cancer patients in home care. The study had a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of ten district nurses employed in primary health care, working in emergency duty in a district in the Middle of Sweden. The results are presented from the two categories; to communicate and being competent, which was formulated to one theme. The theme ?Being safe in one´s professional role, being aware of possibilities and difficulties when encountering intimates in home care?.

Bakgrund: Den äldre populationen ökar och många av de äldre lider av flera olika sjukdomar. Därmed ökar behovet av professionell och god omvårdnad. Den äldre människan som ofta lider av flera sjukdomar bor vanligtvis sista tiden av sitt liv på vård- och omsorgsboende. Äldre människor vårdas inte utifrån ett palliativt perspektiv trots att behov föreligger. Palliativ vård kopplas ofta ihop med människor som är under 65 år och har en obotlig sjukdom exempelvis cancer.Syfte: Att belysa hur den äldre människan vårdas i livets slut på vård- och omsorgsboende, ur de äldres, de närståendes och vårdpersonalens perspektiv.Metod: En litteraturstudie inspirerad av Friberg (2006).

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sjuksköterskors respektive undersköterskors syn på god omvårdnad. Studien är av empirisk och kvalitativ karaktär där fyra legitimerade sjuksköterskor och fyra undersköterskor intervjuades och delgav sina uppfattningar. Analysmetoden innehållsanalys valdes och i resultatet presenteras nio stycken huvudkategorier; Ge patienten trygghet, att respektera patientens vilja och individuella behov, basal hygien ? och omvårdnad skall tillgodoses, social samvaro, motivera patienten, kommunikation, empati, hinder, skillnader i uppfattning..

Bakgrund: Hypotermi under kirurgiska ingrepp kan leda till allvarliga komplikationer som bland annat f?rl?ngd l?kemedelseffekt, koagulationsrubbningar, cirkulationsp?verkan och en ?kad infektionsrisk. En viktig del av anestesisjuksk?terskans arbetsuppgifter ?r att ?vervaka och reglera patientens temperatur. Trots detta ?r det en utmaning att h?lla kroppstemperatur inom normalintervallet under generell anestesi, eftersom kroppstemperaturen sjunker under operation.

This study is based on the will to understand the importance of a specific theory within social work. From the concept of neo-liberal governmentality, the aim is to critically examine and discuss how governance and self-governance is manifested in social work methods and interventions, exemplified by the theory cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). This will be accomplished through an analysis of:? How governance (and self-governance) is manifested in text through the advocacy of CBT and methods based on CBT.? How (governance and) self-governance is manifested in text through the contents of CBT and methods based on CBT. The study has a deductive approach including the hypothesis that the discourses inherent in social work methods and interventions, exemplified by the theory of CBT and methods based on CBT, may be related to the West?s development of a neo-liberal concept of governance.

Globalization and demographic changes are forcing today?s companies to be more competitive in order to reach success. The increasing competition is proving a challenge for companies to recruit and retain competent, talented staff. To meet these challenges, Talent Management was developed during the 1990s and supplies a new and innovative way to deal with personnel management. Due to Talent Management being a relatively new theory, there is at present no generally accepted definition of the theory.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur fetma/övervikt påverkar lederna och utveckling av artros och hur sjuksköterskan kan informera, undervisa i förebyggande syfte. Metoden är en litteraturstudie. Tolv vetenskapliga artiklar granskades enl. Polit et al (2001) kriterier för vetenskaplighet. Därefter inleddes analysen där fyra huvudteman framträdde: BMI och påverkan på lederna, Smärtpåverkan vid artros, Genusskillnader vid artros och övervikt samt Sjuksköterskans undervisande roll.

This research examines the effects of creative store window displays of fashion brands in enhancing recall, attitudes, intentions and brand associations. A comparison has been made between high-end and low-end brands, creative versus non creative store window displays to identify differences in effects. The theory applied in this study has been used from creative advertising effects due to the lack of relevant research in store window display effects. Therefore this study is a contribution to the research of store window effects. The method used in this study compare fashion high-end brand with fashion low-end brand by placing the products in the store window display where the creativity has been manipulated.

The aim of this essay is to get knowledge and to evaluate if the media student has equal or evenbetter knowledge of information technology (IT) than his/her teacher. Today the student of IToften has knowledge of hard ware and soft ware sometimes even unknown to the teacher. Themain reason for this might be that IT hitherto has played no prominent part at the institutes ofteacher education. Continuing further education of IT for teachers is also eligible as IT still is arather new subject on the time table.To adopt an empiric approach to the problem I have used trough interviewing and questions bothteachers and students at two upper secondary schools in the province of Värmland. The schoolsare called ?A? and ?B? in my investigation.Does the teacher have enough knowledge to give the student relevant knowledge concerninghard ware as well as soft ware to handle the computer and to utilize its possibilities? How can theteacher act to comply with the students? claims and demands?IT-knowledge can be expressed in a complicated way but I have limited my investigation to therole of the teacher and how he/she manages to teach and instruct concerning a selected numberof soft ware and how the students evaluate their own knowledge compared to that of the teacher.My investigation shows that the teachers consider their knowledge relevant for their task asinstructors and teachers.
