Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelse av sin yrkesroll och vad som ingår i uppdraget. Studien hade en beskrivande design och tio distriktssköterskor från tre olika hälsocentraler i Mellansverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in via strukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet som framkom under intervjuerna redovisas utifrån tre kategorier och ett tema: Att utvecklas i yrkesrollen och i teamarbetet trots avsaknaden av tydliga styrdokument om uppdraget. Kategorierna som framkom var: Yrkesroll, teamarbete och distriktssköterskans uppdrag.  Distriktssköterskorna upplevde sin yrkesroll som ett brett, fritt och ett varierande yrke med många möjligheter att utvecklas i.

The purpose of this study is to see how secondary schools in Skelleftea? County market themselves in order to attract students. How the schools portrait themselfs, what is in focus in the information material and how the schools communicate their message to the students who are about to choose schools are the questions asked. The study contains both municipal secondary schools and independent secondary schools. A text analysis has been implemented on texts from the schools websites and interviews were conducted with five respondents from the municipal secondary schools.

Då Sverige är ett mångkulturellt land med en expanderande population ställs vi inför många möten i vården med patienter av annan kulturell bakgrund. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vilka faktorer som kan påverka sjuksköterskans möte med patienter av annan etnisk bakgrund än den svenska. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 14 vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades. Resultatet visar olika faktorer som påverkar mötet, vilka kan vara kommunikation, utbildning, attityder, miljö, etnicitet och religion, där kommunikationen som är både verbal och icke-verbal, kan ses som den viktigaste aspekten för ett bra patientmöte. Personalen behöver insikt i hur människor av annan etnicitet kan uttrycka sig för att kunna uppfatta deras behov.

Background:Studies show that when nurses are experiencing problems in the care of non-Swedish speaking patients, it is often due to obstacles in the communication. Studies also show that a prerequisite for adequate care is that there is a basis for a direct communication. Nurses perceive interpreters as an important link to the patient when they do not share a mutual language, the nurses perceive interpreters as a bridge in the conversation.Aim:The purpose of the study is to describe nurses' experiences of the quality of assessments done with the help of an interpreter.Method:The study was conducted through interviews with ten nurses, working at psychiatric clinics. Qualitative content analysis was used for the analysis, which resulted in five categories.Results:The analysis resulted in one theme: "it´s the interpreter who tells me and have not the feeling that the patient has" and five categories: "shades of the language", "conversation structure", "the interpreter's Competence", "interpreting implementing" and "the interpreter's gender and origin". The nurses experience working with interpreters as a challenge.

The accounting scandals that have attracted attention in recent years have led to internal control becoming a more central part of business activity. Doubts about what firms actually do have increased, all caused by the attention of accounting scandals. To counter this, frameworks and laws evolved and gained a significant role in the organization and its surroundings. The aim of the present study is to find out how four companies in the Kristianstad region are working to ensure its internal control and how they work to minimize risk and reduce uncertainty. We have used a qualitative method and interviewed a person in a senior position in each company.

Syftet är att undersöka hur ett antal gymnasielärare som undervisar i svenska ser på datortillgång och datoranvändning, samt vilka krav de ställer på elevernas datoranvändning i kursen Svenska A. Undersökningen genomfördes via en webbenkät, vilken distribuerades under mars 2009. Resultatet av webbenkäten ställs mot beskrivningar av förutsättningar för skrivande och aktuella styrdokument. Tillgången på lärardatorer är otillräcklig och tillgången på elevdatorer är ännu mera otillräcklig. Datormedierad kommunikation används för att effektivisera undervisningen och för att nå eleverna med information.

Swedish pre-school teachers are in the middle of a debate regarding a form of general school Competence that today is criticized by mass media. The training and skill development that is used today is an important tool in the development of the organization as well as the people that work in them. This study aims to explain how this training actually is performed and the opinions of the pre-school teachers that actually finish the training. Previous research in this area has primarily been focused at the types of methods that exists from an executive standpoint. This study, instead, aims to shift that focus to the individual worker.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate students? perceptions of the content inthe Swedish subject and current syllabus for Swedish in the third year of uppersecondary school. The purpose has also been to analyze if students are familiar with theaims they are working towards, how explicit they are and if they have any significancefor the students? results and motivation. This investigation is based on a socio-culturalperspective and was made with help of a quantitative method by using questionnaires,but has also been studied to some extent qualitatively, which have been analyzed from astudent angle.The analysis of the results shows that the students have very good perception ofwhat they should study in Swedish year three in upper secondary school.

Sammanfattning Arbetsledare är nyckelpersoner i äldreomsorgens verksamheter, de är en länk mellan högre chefer och de underställda medarbetarna. För att arbetet ska fungera på ett tillfredställande sätt, bör arbetsledaren ha den kompetens som krävs, för funktionen den har. Arbetsledarens funktion är att motivera och handleda medarbetarna för att omsorgstagarna i sin tur, ska få ett värdigt och gott liv. Undersökningens syfte var att undersöka gällande kompetenskrav för arbetsledare inom dagens äldreomsorg. Vi inriktade oss således på begreppen kompetens, utbildning och ledarskap.

Bakgrund: Specialistsjuksköterskans kompetens är en fördjupning av de kunskaper och förmågor som erhållits i grundutbildningen. Behovet av specialiserade sjuksköterskor ökar men då arbets-uppgifterna mellan grund- och specialistutbildade sjuksköterskor inte skiljer sig nämnvärt åt kan detta få till följd att specialistsjuksköterskorna lämnar det kliniska arbetet. Den specialistkompetens som efterfrågats riskerar därmed att försvinna. På denna grund, och som ett led i att förtydliga specialistsjuksköterskans roll i psykiatrisk slutenvård, är det av intresse att uppmärksamma hur specialistsjuksköterskan uppfattas och vilka förväntningar som finns på dennes kompetens. Syfte: att beskriva läkares uppfattningar av specialistsjuksköterskans kompetens i psykiatrisk vård.

The world becomes more globalized for each year that passes by due to economical, political and technological processes. The globalization process leads to increased contacts with people from different cultures and therefore intercultural communication occurs.Intercultural and strategic communication is significant to accomplish successful establishments and effective communication for companies. The export from Sweden abroad increases every single year and today there are about 1500 Swedish companies around the world and 350 established in Russia. The purpose of this study has therefore been to analyze the factors that affect the establishments of Swedish companies in Russia.Material to our study has been collected through qualitative interviews and a seminar focusing on these questions. Our interviewees all have experiences on working with Russia, as most of the interviewees work for Swedish companies in Russia or are consults that help companies to succeed with their establishment.The material has been evaluated and analyzed in relation to our main theories in intercultural- and strategic communication using theorists and theories such as Hofstede and his five cultural dimensions, Goffman?s staging and Habermas communicative action theory.Our theories have been put in relation to our collected information and complemented by earlier research and the result indicates that you need intercultural Competence to manage an establishment of a Swedish company and the strategic communication in Russia because of the intercultural differences that the respondents experience..

"Outstanding" or "They ought to know more about computers" : A study on computer support at university libraries.The main purpose of this study is to investigate the support computer users are given at university libraries. Further, the aim is to find out if the users thought they received the support that they needed. The study is carried out at two different university libraries. The data is obtained through interviews with the librarians, observations of the daily work at the information counters and questionnaires handled out to the users.The study indicates that variables such as knowledge, time and equipment play a central role in making the computer support successive. To a great extent the computer support is synonymous with information search, but it also deals with word processing and technical support connected with computer errors.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe intensive care nurses? experiences communicating with patients during mechanical ventilation.Methods/design: A qualitative interview study. Interviews where analyzed using descriptive content analysisSetting: Nine intensive care nurses from two different intensive care units were interviewed using a semi structured interview guide.Background: Past research has shown that patients during mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit, feel very vulnerable and the helplessness of being unable to speak. These patients feels that they are completely dependent on the nurses and their Competence. It has been shown to be very important that the patient feels included, acknowledged and respected.Results: The analyzed data resulted in a theme; through communication strive to preserve patients´ dignity and three main categories; create relationship to the patient, minimize patients´ vulnerability and don´t give up.

Purpose: The purpose of the investigation is to give an insight to hot the EU legal environment in the field of vertical relationships influences the competitiveness of the 2nd tier of the automobile industry. Conclusion:It follows that European legislation has succeedded in raising the competitiveness by breaking down the powers of the predominantly more powerful companies that the 2nd tier players do business with and by giving companies sufficient leeway to act. The comment must be made here that serious problems due to a power misbalance might still exist yet are not uncovered. In the course of my research I have found a lack of issues in my subject field. These problems however would have a more structural and economical cause, dealing with these problems would fall outside the boundaries of the Competence of European competition legislation.

AbstractThis work is a pilot study intended to show what an experienced teacher of Swedish in first grade teaches and how she teaches. A further aim is to test methods for the analysis of Aristotle?s forms of knowledge in order to elucidate the teaching of reading and writing. As regards theory, the study proceeds from rhetoric and its doctrine of forms of knowledge according to which the whole in communication consists of episteme, techne and phronesis. The methods involve analysing the content of the communication and analysing speech acts, rhetorical figures and paralinguistic expressions.
