The main purpose of this thesis has been to address the problem connected with conservation ofspecific objects in historic buildings that have a protected building status. The immaterial demandsand environmental concerns of a place of cultural significance are discussed as opposed to the welladaptedsetting of a museum, with regard to long-term preservation. In an authentic interior of acertain era, large-scale individual treatments of the objects that define it and regulations forconservation-related reasons, may not be considered a worth-while effort, as it is often the integrityof the environment as a whole that has been declared as significant. To investigate the relationshipbetween object and its context, a case study has been conducted by examination of the propertycalled ?Curmans villor?, located in the seaside Community called Lysekil.

Syftet med föreliggande studie är att analysera hur begreppet social hållbar stadsutveckling fylls med innehåll inom en lokal stadsplaneringskontext. I de södra delarna av Norrköping arbetar nu anställda vid kommunens stadsplaneringskontor med att skapa en ny stadsdel, som givits namnet Kneippen syd. Ambitionen är att skapa en socialt hållbar stadsdel.Empirisk data är hämtad genom sex kvalitativa intervjuer, observationer vid platsen för Kneippen syd, och efter deltagande vid fyra seminarier med stadsutveckling som övergripande tema.Resultaten från studien visar att återkommande teman vad gäller socialt hållbar stadsutveckling utgjordes av visionen om en blandad stad med stärkta samband inom staden. De bakomliggande motiven till dessa teman grundar sig i förståelsen av staden som segregerad. Modernistisk stadsplanering bestående av rumsligt separerade stadsdelar framställs som en orsak till varför staden är segregerad.

The present study examines power relations, textual genre and attitudes to the matching process in the labor market in the employment office?s opinion articles in the period 2009?2014.     The power relations that emerge in the debate articles between employers, job seekers and private employment constitute the study's main question.The theoretical starting points are taken from Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis (1992, 2001, and 2010), where the discursive practice consists of the employment office?s production of opinion articles during a recession. The social practice consists of the laws and regulations that make its actions to reduce unemployment in the society. The method is derived from Halliday?s (1994, 2002) systemic functional linguistics.

The State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls was one of the two swedish educational institutions established under state management in the 1920s and came to be the starting point for further government operations for the mentally deficient. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the activities of the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls, out of what needs the institution filled in Sweden?s care for the mentally deficient. The institution has tried to be understood from the view of eugenics and the perspective of children that was current during the 1900s first half.To fulfill the purpose of the study, the archives for the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls was studied and analyzed with basis of previous research on Sweden?s care for the mentally deficient and the impact from eugenics and Sweden?s child perspective.The study shows that the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls mostly existed to educate students and adapt them to the Community, which the institution did by education, disciplinary interventions and sterilizations.

Besides 5-13 d §§ and 17 §, the term also covers other non legal rules. The essay intends to define the legal meaning of the term as well as examine how it is experienced of laymen in the area. According to 1 § Swedish Marketing law aims to protect business men and consumers from unjustified marketing.

Vi har genomfört vår undersökning ombord på Viking Lines Cinderella. Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att undersöka erfarenheterna kring hur det är att arbeta på ett kryssningsfartyg. Den teoretiska referensramen behandlar begreppet tillgänglighet samt teorierna om yrkesgemenskap och Karaskeks krav- och kontrollmodell med socialt stöd. Metoden som har använts i denna undersökning är den kvalitativa ansatsen intervjuer, detta för att skapa oss en djupare förståelse för området. Urvalet i undersökningen består av tio anställda ombord på Cinderella. Det insamlade materialet från intervjuerna har gett oss en bild av hur tillgänglighetsmönstret ser ut för anställda ombord på Cinderella. De som arbetar ombord bär med sig en sökare som tyder på ett stort krav på tillgänglighet.

In todays society sports has become a major part in people?s life, with the emerging of professionalization it?s become a thriving business that generates big money. An outcome of this evolution of sports as meant that most athletes must put more time and energy in to their athletics to have a chance to reach their dreams of being a professional athlete. And if an athletes dream get cut short somehow, the process of moving out of sport has been shown to somtimes be a difficult process for athletes that don?t have anything to fall back on.

Globalization has lead to evolvement of teamwork between companies and their customers. One reason for this change is the growth of the IT Community and the propagation of the Internet. This in turn has lead to faster communication within business networks and also a higher degree of integration between companies.The purpose of this thesis is to describe IT can be used to develop and support networks formed around IT corporations. IT also aim at describing what impact usage of IT within personal networks has on usage of IT within business networks. The thesis is limited to IT-companies using IT artifacts, not only for communication within its organization, but also communicating with its customers and other IT-companies.

Identity and vocation.AbstractThe aim of this Master's thesis is to investigate the professional identity of Children's Librarians in order to contribute to a deeper understanding to the professions of librarians. This places the thesis in the field of Library and Information Science that studies the profession. The definition we use to understand profession suggests that all librarians take an active part in negotiating their professional role and library enterprise.Our empirical material consists of interviews with eight Children's Librarians. Using a qualitative method was the best way to gain an understanding for the participant's own experiences of their professional identity.

Assessment of impacts on nature and reindeer husbandry by the considered mountain road between Borgafjäll and Saxnäs- Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institutes method for assessment of damage to heritage assetsThere are plans regarding the building of a new road from Borgafjäll/Båtas to Saxnäs, and two road alternatives have been presented. The road has been localized to an area which is protected as a nature reserve and listed as a Nature 2000 area. This report aims to determine the effects on the Nature 2000 area and reindeer husbandry, and to be a source of knowledge for future environmental impact assessment in that project. In order to assess the impact on nature values and reindeer husbandry a method from the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) has been used. A literature review has been made to prescribe the effects and consequences.

Background Participation in the Community is vital to mental health and is beneficial to individuals and society. Many studies discuss this issue in relation to the disabled, and this study investigates this further. The goal of this survey, performed in Göteborg, Sweden, is to study issues relating to the participation of people with physical disabilities, according to their own perceptions and experiences on this issue. Method Qualitative methodology was used to explore experiences of participation in twenty physically disabled adults by means of semi structured personal interviews. Results From a social constructionist view, disability is explained in terms of being socially constructed.

Sociala nätverk har länge varit ett viktigt forum för Internetanvändare över hela världen, och det nätverk som växer fortast heter Facebook och hade i mars 2009 över 200 miljoner aktiva användare. På Facebook publiceras dagligen mängder av information i form av bilder, filmer och konversationer som visar upp för omvärlden vilka vi är och vilka relationer vi har till andra människor. Jag har i min uppsats talat med sex unga vuxna, tre killar och tre tjejer om hur de upplever och brukar Facebook. Uppsatsen behandlar hur identitet skapas och upprätthålls samt lyfter fram de problem som kan uppstå när bilder och information publiceras offentligt. Jag tittar även på om det framkommer några skillnader i hur de medverkande ser på Facebook och dess funktioner beroende av kön.

?Life on a delicate thread?Baptism and godparenting in Bottnaryd and Ulricehamn 1781-1783The aim of this study is to discover if there were differences between the baptism traditions maintained in a typical rural parish and in an urban town parish in the period 1781-1783 and to suggest possible reasons for any differences found. Baptism records from rural Bottnaryd parish and the town of Ulricehamn were studied and compared. In both communities, parents were anxious to have their child christened on the day of birth or the day after. They did not want to wait until the following Sunday, as church law prescribed. Infant mortality was high and if the child died before it was christened, it would not go to heaven.

Förutom att webbsajten skulle vara dynamisk och användarvänlig skulle den även vara lätt att uppdatera, erbjuda interaktivitet samt ge specifika användare en möjlighet till att kunna föra en diskussion och få tillgång till viktig information i en personlig Community.Resultatet är en databasdriven webbsajt med kombinationen av HTML, CSS, PHP samt MySQL. Designen har skapats utifrån generella grundregler för användbarhet på Internet och för layout och design i allmänhet.

Problemformuleringen består av följande två frågor: Vilka möjliga sätt finns för kommersialisering av en konvergerad mobiltjänst? Vilka möjliga sätt finns för kommersialisering av sajten Mobical.net? Som generaliserbart resultat utkristalliserades fyra Key Success Factors inför fallföretaget Mobical.nets eventuella kommersialisering; en väl fungerande affärsmodell, stänga ute disruptiv konkurrens, ett värdeadderande samarbete och en kreativ och interaktiv Community.
